I was reading your guest book, and I saw that your nephew and brother and whoever else is living with them are resided in Oregon that's totally awesome, because Oregon happens to be the best state there is! Hi Larry, I've been lurking for quite a while now, but figured it was time for me to join in...I had the privilege of meeting you at SSW in Florida last year, and while I'm sure you don't remember me, I most definitely remember the experience. I first came upon you early Saturday morning while you were signing autographs. Someone must have commented about your black shirt, jeans and boots when it was about 90 degrees outside, and you remarked that you would probably be in the lake by the end of the day. Well, smart ass that I am, I told you I gave you about an hour! LOL! I turned out to be wrong, but I'll never forget the look on your face!
Anyway, the next day was even more special. Having already gotten your autograph for myself, I got back on your line and asked for one for a young girl on my message board. She is 14 years old and thinks the sun rises and sets with you. You graciously complied, and when I got home, I mailed her the picture. She was so thrilled to receive it, and promptly informed me that she was the envy of all her friends!
