Larry, Larry, Larry! I sure hope you enjoyed your vacation in Paris...cuz we didn't!:) Not only did we miss Sam's presence in Llanview, we missed your presence on this board. Even worse we have Sam's disappearance to suffer thru yet again when the Paris trip catches up to Llanview time. I'm not looking forward to the heartbreaking scenes but I am looking forward to your talents gracing my TV screen. Don't let TPTB take away Sam's adorable, loving nature...no more throwing people thru windows tough guy!:) We love you Larry! See you in April.
I'd like to wish Larry a good staying in Paris. I'm very glad he is in Europe in these days and I hope he could come one day in Italy ,where I live near Venice. I would offer him hospitality with pleasure and I'd like him to taste some good Italian food. Unfortunately I can't follow OLTL here but I could follow him in several TV serial appearances. Friday the 1st of March, I will watch him on JAG on "RAI" channel(the first of three episodes he starred in) and I'm looking forward to. Congratulations to this very fine web site. I enjoy it very often as a fan of Larry. Sorry for my English. See you soon.
Hi Larry Sam is a great character on the show. We need more Sam. Nora should be with Sam. Hope Paris was fun. I was there for a day I enjoyed Paris. Keep up the good work.

Bonjour, Bonjour!!!!!!!!!! OOOOhhhhhh, LaLa! I am back! And Paris was incredible! Thank you all for missing me so much, I really appreciate your good wishes for my trip. I had such a wonderful time I can't really even begin to describe it. Everywhere you looked there was something beautiful to look at, every meal was something to write home about, the desserts were oh so delicious, the coffee was fantastic; I made it to all the major museums, sometimes twice, the art was sometimes profoundly moving, oh my God there was just so much! I saw a performance of Moliere's 'The Imaginary Invalid' at the Comedie Francaise, (4th row seats!), and even tho it was in French I understood it and loved it! I could go on and on. It is beyond a doubt the most romantic city I've ever been in and someday I'll take advantage of that. I've got go now, sorry, got major lines to learn for tomorrow's show, but I want to say thanks again to you all for being who you are. Keep the faith, there are trying times ahead, but it's in these times that we find who we really are. Love, Larry.

I'm glad that you had an excellent vacation. Paris sounds wonderful. Hopefully, I will get to go there some day also. I am anxiously awaiting to see those Sam scenes that will be airing in March.

Did you hobnob with the artists at the Monmatre, and visit Sacre C'ouer? I also loved the boat rides on the Seine. We have certainly missed your presence on our favorite soap this past week. Glad to hear you will be on again tomorrow. Can't wait to see your storyline become high profile again, even if the story itself will make us sad (for a while - we know that TPTB will get the message that they cannot let it go on forever!) Bonjour! to Larry and all of the "posters" to this Guestbook. We are so glad that you are back and had a great trip, Larry. Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world - did you get a chance to take a boat ride on the Seine? That's fabulous at night, but then, so is almost everything in Paris. We are all awaiting your return to screen time on our favorite soap. While we will be sad to see the heartbreaking scenes you and others have warned us about, we have faith that TPTB won't let this sadness drag on for too long. I have to take solace in the fact that we haven't lost LL and HBS on the show, no matter what the TPTB do to them, I can still watch them, and appreciate their acting abilities. I wish I could get to NY and California to be able to see LL in person, but alas I am in Florida and don't have the financial resources right now to do a lot of traveling, but when I do... I'm glad you had such a wonderful time. It is truly an incredible place. I absolutely loved the Louvre; the place is huge. As for the food, the best thing I had was purchased from a street vendor. It was a warm crepe with a Nutella filling. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
I talked to Kat, Larry's FC President and she had just talked to Larry and he said that they were getting HUGE amounts of postcards! Which of course, he thanked us for! He also said that a lot of them are going to him, and they *****should***** be going to Gary Tomlin and Angela Shapiro! So, if anyone is not sending then to GT or AS, we need to fix this! Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone for all the postcards being sent into the studio, and like Nancy mentioned above the "Couple Campaign" postcards should be sent to Gary Tomlin and Angela Shapiro to bring the most attention. However, you are more than welcome to write Larry your own personal letters and comments, as I know he loves hearing from you all.

Hello Larry, Glad to hear you hada nice trip. I just arrived in Cali yesterday. The drive was beautiful and exhausting think that Utah and Wyoming were the most beautiful. Your trip sounds fabulous. I've never been to Paris but would love to hear more about your trip. You sound like such a romantic. Thank goodness you've back on OLTL. Okay folks are we ready for the next few days?!?! I am not! Grateful to be very busy at work! Let's just hope they give Sam the time that he/we need to watch this stuff. I am going to start counting the number of teens that appear on each show each day and count the minutes they are on the air and create a statistic report and send it to GT! (I will write a program to do this, just input the figures!) This is ridiculous! Sam should have had more time today..same with NuNora and Lindsay! Larry we need you on the AIR more! You did a very good job of portraying Sam's hurt and feelings of betrayal. I felt so sorry for Sam. I say bravo to Sam for not forgiving her and kicking her out of his house. How dare Nora do that to him LOL. Hopefully, Nora will come to her senses and realize Troy is a sleazy scum and Sam is the perfect man for her.
You did great Larry I cried just looking at you you did not have to speak and Nora just lost the best thing but if the writers to it write she will crawl back to Sam and they will be back together. I hope they don't mess this up. Missy Larry is#1

Hi from Australia! Loved the online newsletter. Especially the beautiful pictures of Larry. Thanks for setting this up so someone from Australia who doesn't get OLTL (but who did see AW) can still keep up with what Larry's doing.
Larry, Larry, Larry! We love Sam but enough with the broken hearts. We want romance and warm fuzzy stuff...not heartache all the time. Please tell Mr.Tomlin that we want to smile the kind of smile that comes over you when something pulls at your heartstrings (like Sam making that video for Nora or Nora remembering, for the first time, making love to Sam and how beautiful it was...followed by the cute but soon interrupted dinner date). Tell Mr.Tomlin we tune in for romance not lust. We want to see couples have conflicts and obstacles that they can overcome. True love means working thru these difficulties and growing closer in spite of it not further apart because of it. If Mr. Tomlin wants younger viewers then lets give them good examples of love; enough with the disposable relationships. Back to Sam! We love him and we love you. We want more. More happy, fun, and adorable Sam. The strong, intelligent attorney, loving father, and caring man. Save the dark stuff for Trolin (Troy/Colin):( Nora needs to realize what she lost in Sam and fight to get him back. Hi everybody! I couldn't agree more, I also want to see more of Sam having fun, being in love, and fighting the good fight in the courtroom. I love that side of Sam's character, I love seeing him with Mathew, and the scenes with Sam, Nora, and Sam in the bedroom a month or so ago were some of my all time favorites. But Sam has to go where the story takes him, and the captains of the ship steer the vessel. But, no matter what happens it'll be intriguing and fun, that I'm sure of, and if certain things are meant to happen, they will, just not necessarily on our time schedule. The journey IS the destination, so keep those seat belts fastened, we're going for a long ride! Best to you, always, Larry.
Larry: I just read some spoilers that were posted on my site! I am in shock! Those captains that are steering the vessel, was one of them the captain of the Exxon Valdez(sp)? Sinking BIG time! Hi Larry, O'kay, so this isn't what Sam and Nora fans were hoping for. I can live with that. I just thank my lucky charms that you sailed your vessel over to OLTL! I have watched OLTL for over 20 years. I have enjoyed the show more since you came than I ever have before. I hope to see more and more of Sam in the weeks and months to come. I thought the breakup scenes were heartwrenching.You did a terrific job in those scenes! Smile, give thanks and......... Thanks for your comments LL. Sam is my favorite character and even though I hate the breakup, I will stay throughout his journey. Hopefully, after Sam recovers from the pain of his breakup with Nora, he can laugh, smile, and get back into the courtroom and be an excellent lawyer. Maybe Sam can even fall in love again with someone who returns his feelings completely. Possibly somewhere down the road, Nora realizes what a mistake she has made and Sam and Nora work through their problems and reconcile. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Sam.
Larry: At this point it's not that important to me for Sam and Nora to be together. I just want more screen time for you. The past few days have been great. With the breakup it will give you an opportunity to expand your character and truly make him your own. Maybe a new love interest would be good, possibly to make Nora jealous and make her realize that Sam's not going to sit around and wait on her. If it's meant to be then Nora should have more difficulty getting back into Sam's good graces. I hope you will be able to have a lot of fun with the character and work with a lot of different people. As always, you're the best. Can't wait until April. The first newsletter for the fan club was great. Larry: We just read the article by Carolyn Hinsey featuring HBS in the NY Daily News. Wow! Let's just move on, hey? Oh well! We are here for you and Sammy! I am personally a Sam-ian from this point on! I will continue to send in the rest of the postcards that I have, but they are in support for you! It is better for you to be "shining your light", without the darkness that is NuNora and Trolin! You shine so much brighter without that ugliness! Keep smiling, we love that! And when you go to rescue Trolin, it is okay if you have a memory lapse and forget why you actually went into the burning building and turn around and walk out. We will all understand. Also, on the custody of my favorite little boy on TV, Matthew, you should get custody of him, not Nora! You and Ed Alderson are GREAT together! I am a single mom and have full custody of my 3 boys, so I know of what I speak. And I am saying that Matthew should live with you, not his mother! He doesn't need that evil man (whom I am sure as of Tuesday, will be a saint) around him. You're a lawyer, make it happen! OK, I am done make judgments! Hey I just saw an ad for OLTL for next week! Sammy to the rescue! He breaks down the door because of the fire! Our fearless Sammy! Then you see Trolin screamin' on the Wheel (HELP HELP HELP!). And then you see N and L fighting over the tape. And then back to the funhouse. Sammy is on the floor looking hurt, which is not a good thing until you see Troy yelling (HELP HELP HELP). Our Sam taking it like a man (HACHACHA) and Troy (the knight in shining armor) squealing like a pig. Oh I am in rare form this morning. TOTAL LARRY/SAM SUPPORTER. It is not REALLY funny to be in a fire I am sure, and I am not making fun of that. I am just so proud of Sammy's sense of right and wrong and his bravery! Go SAMMY!
I have decided to create a new site which I named "oursammy.topcities.com". My idea is to take Sammy's storyline from here on and devote this site to him and HIS storyline. SNO is still up, I have no intention of changing that. It is like coloring having a calming effect on children and actually me. I love to color! But, it will be my therapy creating this site. I will have the main page up and at least a forum by tonight, 9 PM EST. I already started it last night and I have to work today. If you want to come and visit, cool!

Dear Larry, Hello! How are you today? I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you I really loved the cover of Soap opera weekly you did this week with Hillary about Sam and Nora. There was also a great picture of you and Hillary on the cover of Soap opera update too. Soap opera update also had a terrific article on Sam and Nora's relationship. I loved your comments about Sam and Nora in this article. I'm so sad that Sam and Nora have break up. They have brought me so much happiness. I can understand why Nora feels something for Troy; after all he did go though hell to get Lindsay's confession for her and he helped Matthew when he got sick. I would like for Sam and his Nora to find their way back to each other someday, but if that can't happen, then I would like for Sam to be with Blair. Blair is probably going to throw Todd out on his butt when she finds out what he did, so she will need someone to comfort her. Sam and Blair were together before, and they were very good as a couple. Just imagine the fireworks with Todd if Sam was with Blair!!! If Nora is going to have Troy, then I don't want Sam to be all alone. Well, Larry, that's all for now. Hi Everybody! Just wanted to say hi. I don't have a lot to say, I'm kind of pooped, been up since 5:15a, because I was asked to be one the announcers of the Daytime Emmy nominations on CBS this morning. Did anyone see it? None of the OLTL actors were nominated, which is disappointing, because there are quite few who are very deserving. It seems there is a credibility issue with this nomination process because it highly favors those shows that have the largest cast. Oh well, we were nominated for 'Best Show' and that speaks well for everyone!!
I hope you're enjoying this weeks' shows. I think its been pretty good, if I do say so myself, and Friday should be particularly intense. I think you all are wonderful, thanks for being who you are. Always, Larry.

I watched the nominations this morning--and it was very harsh to have to wake up that early on the only day of my spring break I could actually sleep. Since no one in our little "group" saw them, I had to fill them in on how cool it was to see Larry (and if you missed it, in the very beginning of the show, they showed Larry talking to Maury Povich---Angela is sooo jealous cuz she loves Maury Povich) Anyway, it was so horrible for Larry to have to read the Supporting Actress nominations because a)Rebecca Budig who was standing right next to him should have been nominated in that category..and Cat should have been too, but surprise, surprise...it's ridiculous! I digress...everyone at OLTL ROCKS, so that is important, and they did get 7 nominations for other things, so that is good. OLTL has been really good this week, at least as far as the Lindsay/Nora/Sam/Troy story goes. Keep up the great work, Larry! :) Jenn
I watched the Emmy nomination announcements from work. It was great to see you there Larry! It was disappointing however to have so many great actors overlooked. It's been one disappointment after the other this week for this OLTL fan...Sam/Nora breakup, Emmy nods, and our forums go down so we have to scramble for another way to communicate about our favorite actors. Thanks for brightening my TV screen. I hope TPTB have some great places they plan to take Sam's character next. See you at the luncheon!
I missed the nominations, if I'd known Larry was going to be on it, I would've set the VCR. I too was disappointed that OLTL did not receive more nominations, especially in the acting categories, they are definitely deserving.
Larry: I cried today when you saw Nora hug Troy! I would say that you did you job VERY WELL! Man, am I mad at NuNora?!?!? You were SO good! You couldn't look at her. You made me cry! Can't they make more than 1 character look good at the same time, or better yet, can't they write a story that does not involve character assassination? Nora is no longer herself, Troy has gone from lunatic to savior by sleeping with N's worst enemy! This is not entertainment! It is frustration! You were great in all your scenes and you did a great job with the story, but you all deserve better! I am SURE that GT and AS will be getting quite a few letters about this from your fans. It is not fair to you or your fans!
I read some spoilers that said you and Troy were going to vie for Nora. Can they ever make a decision? I am telling you to kick NuNora to the curb! I am feeling my writing hand starting to work. If they want to know what we think we will tell them. LL is great, give him the storyline he deserves! Let's have a story not destruction of characters! Thank God we have you, because I would be SO gone from this show!
I think the show shocked me today..just by the look on your face! You should definitely take this as a compliment! I have never cried at a soap before! Also, it is about time Matthew was mentioned, never mind being seen so this "Story" could be told! And I loved when you said to L that she took Nora and Matthew away from you! I am going to stop. Hi all, sorry I missed Wednesday's chat, unfortunately my server was down for most of the day and into the night and couldn't get connected. It was very frustrating. I'm heading out of town this weekend, so won't be back until Sunday, but it will be nice to have this "mini" vacation.
I, too am very disappointed in the Emmy nominations, but I have been for the past few years. I really enjoy the Soap Opera Digest Awards so much more because I know the votes are coming from the fans, not just a committee. I do hope, however, OLTL wins for Best Show........that would be fantastic, because they certainly deserve!
Larry, you did an outstanding performance this week in the Sam/Nora/Troy/Lindsay scenes, and I can't wait to see Friday's show also, which I won't be able to see until I get back from my trip :-(

Nora doesn't seem to have a heart these days. Sam needs a lady that will give him the love he deserves. Enough with Nora's wishy-washy attitude toward Sam. I want to see "oursammy" smiling!

Thursday's episode was truly gut wrenching. I have to say, that I have enormous respect for an actor that can convey so much emotion with just a glance and without uttering a word...good job Larry!

Bravo Larry! I cried for Sam today. His heart was broken and he knew it was time to let go. Nora is such a fool. The LarryLau Diva Posse (LOL) all wanted to reach out and hug Sam today. I was so glad Sam told Nora he couldn't seduce Lindsay to get the truth for her. That is why we love Sam! He wears his heart on his sleeve but he is a kind, gentle, loving, real man. And who better to play Sam then you Larry! Great job today.
Very true Donna and the way Troy did Lindsay I see him deceiving Nora down the line and will Sam be there to save her well who knows but, yes I think Sam and Blair will soon but, not before Todd tells the truth but I think Blair will hug him to console him because over Nora and Todd will freak what do you think?

Laurence Lau you did excellent job today and yesterday. It was so refreshing to see Sam not buy Lindsay's bull and to tell Bo to make sure those handcuffs were on tight. I felt Sam's feelings of hurt, disappointment, betrayal, and sadness. Yes, I was one of those fans who wanted to give poor Sam a hug. Nora was a fool to pick Sam over Troy. It is so sad to see evil (Troy) win over good (Sam). Hopefully, Sam will take some time to get over the breakup and begin a new romance with a woman that can return his feelings. No matter where Sam's storyline takes him, you have fans that are on your side.
Hey Everyone, especially you Larry! Great job in all of your scenes this past couple of weeks. You have really made the pain of this breakup palpable to all of the OLTL viewers. Even the folks who aren't Sam/Nora fans have been really moved, judging by all that I read. You and Ty Treadway were great together. It will be interesting to see the new directions that they take Sam, I just hope that we get to see Sam enjoy himself again real soon!
