HEY EVERYBODY! California was great, saw a lot of friends, did some swimming, went to the beach, ate a lot of great food, basically just kicked back. It went by fast, the time. Nicki, thanx for the info re: Stratford, I really appreciate it. I'm so glad so many of you had a great time here in New York; I really love it here; when I add up the three times I've lived here, it totals just under 20 years! That's longer than I lived in Oregon, my home state. Anyway, I hope you all have fun these last several days before Labor Days over. GET OUT THERE AND ENJOY THE SUN! Hams, Larry.
Hey L*~ sounds like you had a blast in California!Nicky and I really had a great time in New York, even with the blackout!Thanks again for your suggestions on things for us to do-we got to do most of them before the lights went out!We will get to the rest next time, for sure! I have to work all weekend...guess that's why they call it Labor Day weekend! LOL! But I do have a job interview lined up with a local tv station-doing behind the scenes work-running teleprompters, cameras, tapes,and typing in graphics. I may get out of the kitchen yet! Hee Hee! Hey Larry! Welcome back, nice to hear you had fun in CA! T* that interview sounds cool! I would love to work for a television station, they are really neat. Hope you get it! Nicky, how were those storms??? We were supposed to get some big ones yesterday too, but it didn't happen =(. Larry, I can't enjoy the sunshine! Egads! Went to this lovely mill pond near where I live... just to relax and read under the trees. Having a great time. I see this squirrel (which I just fed actually) bounding joyfully into oncoming traffic. Trying to scare it back towards the park, I threw a stick in front of it to scare backwards. Well who the heck taught it to fetch?!!! Damn thing went straight towards the stick and got ... well, you get the idea. I need tea now... I'm so traumitized... poor squirrel he's beyond trauma now. ~a moment of silence~.
Larry, I'm glad that you enjoyed your trip. Hope cooler weather comes to NY and the rest of the country. Have a safe and Happy Labor Day weekend everyone. Nicky what happened to the squirrel was not your fault. You were only trying to help the small creature. The squirrel is in a better place where it will never go hungry or have to worry about dodging cars again.
Why did the chicken cross the road?? To prove to the raccoons and the squirrels that it can be done!! I nailed a raccoon not too long ago- came out of nowhere, and ran right in front of my car! I guess it was never told NOT to play in the traffic! We have had thousands of Harley riders in town for the past couple of days! What an awesome sight! LaCrosse is their last big stop before they head to Milwaukee, and the big Harley 100th anniversary celebration. Larry~ any cool plans for the holiday weekend? I will be slaving away in the kitchen..feeding the hungry masses. Btw...how is the hamster doing?? I hope the goat is behaving for you!Have a good one! xoxo T*

I have never actually killed an animal, but a few months ago I was in a car that killed a rabbit and I cried! The guy driving actually laughed! I was so upset. How is everyone? Howdy everyone... ~wave, wave~!! Glad to see you're still alive and kickin' Larry! Can't imagine NY *not* being busy! LOL! Almost like seeing it completely dark... er... wait a minute... I did... never mind. ;) Been busy with work (hiatuses are done now until we wrap in Nov.), as well as taking in the Toronto Film Festival this week. Saw the 'premier' of Nicholas Cage's new "Matchstick Men". Mr. Cage was there... so that was fun. Interesting film. Oh... and I managed to see "Together"... what a **beautifully** shot film! Wow! Hi Larry & all, I haven't been around for awhile, I've been consumed with work. It's getting into the busy time of the year with the holidays being just a few months away. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life..I have a favor to ask of you all. Can you say a prayer for my brother and his family. My sister in law just last week found out she has cervical cancer and is now in the hospital undergoing radiation treatments. And will also have to have a hysterectomy. Thank-You! Lil' Sis --> No, our band didn't play this weekend in NY... I was suppose to have my surgery on Wednesday... and things went... well, poorly. Had an adverse reaction to the anesthetic and they had to stop about 10 minutes into it. Just got home yesterday. Well... Isabelle didn't hit us as hard... lovely wind and lots of rain. We had another storm front from the west that decided to meet up with Isabelle over Lake Ontario and have a party for a couple of hours. It was nothing in comparison to poor North Carolina... we were just able to make some great umbrella art! Lil' Sis --> Tattle tale! LOL! Kate --> What a lovely bunch of coconuts! Larry --> Whassup? Hey Everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've been trying to kick a stubborn case of the flu; but, I have some good news: couple of weeks ago I was cast in the off-Broadway play, EXONERATED; it's a very powerful about the lives of six former death-row inmates who, after years of incarceration, were finally freed due to DNA evidence. It's a rotating cast and I will be fed into the cast when an opening occurs. In the meantime, I've just booked another play, THE FLID SHOW; it's a very moving story of a 40 year old Thalidomide survivor, a man born with no arms, who sings ballads in a run down night club, and his journey to love and forgiveness. We start rehearsals tomorrow and have a three week run beginning November 1st. I'm very excited about all of this. I hope some of you can come and see the show. I hope you're all doing great. Howdy everyone... hope you're all having a terrific weekend! It's chilly here, but the fall colours are incredible! Spent most of the weekend horseback riding with friends until frozen rain brought us in for something hot to drink. So... where the heck is everybody? LOL! Larry --> what venue is "The Flid Show" happening in? Lil Sis --> just stick to a path now... don't go truckin' through uncharted grassy fields... unless you have sturdy shoes. Take y'all. Hi Larry~ I was just reading an article in today's paper that really makes me want to see the play "Exonerated". A man from Two Rivers, Wisconsin was just freed last month after 18 years in prison! New DNA evidence proved he didn't commit the crime. It was such an amazing and powerful story, that I started crying when I read about all this man lost in his life that he won't ever get back.
