Missy...I like your idea about Liza winning the contest, but how about GREG wins the "Sexiest Man" contest and gets that contract with AMC??? That would certainly be a nice ending to an otherwise tragically boring storyline!!! :) Jenn
Jenn , That sounds even better :) I have missed being around maybe when school get back in I can join chat one night be verybusy this summer ttyl Missy
I shouldn't have made Larry look like he was being inconsiderate towards those of us who couldn't join last Wednesday's chat. I guess I was feeling frustrated about missing a chance to chat with him. I have all these questions I'd like to ask him. Sorry Brother Golden Hair (Larry), I'll try not to expect too much of you. After all, you're only human. Please forgive me, Okee Dokee? :-)
VCR Alert: Larry will appear in the rerun of JAG (Family Secrets) on Tuesday, July 29th on USA at 7pm EST. :) jenn
Hi all and Larry too!!! I just watched AMC Friday's episode, what a hoot! I would love to see Greg back in the mix, he would be the more level-headed of all. Nice weekend, homework...nonending homework, one more week of summer school. Have a good week all and keep cool. Hope to see you all in chat Wed.
NYCjenn: Thanks for letting us know about the "JAG" episode with Larry, that the USA Network will be airing a week from this coming Tuesday. I hope I won't forget to set the VCR up to tape it. I've been trying to collect the episodes of shows that Larry was a guest on. I've already taped "Frasier" and "Diagnosis: Murdrer." :-)
Hey there, Larry Lau- How's it going? I am heading out of town for a couple of days for a training seminar, and I have A quick question to ask before I have to scamper! Since the Broadway Joe's get together was put off earlier-due to that totally awesome trip to Vienna- I was wondering if we might have one after the luncheon? Since some of us will be in New York that don't have the opportunity to go there often, I thought it might be fun to get together with you and chat a bit.And we might have a surprise or two for you! I might even go so far as to promise to behave! Whoa! Did I just say that? Nicky, take my temperature, will ya? Must be something in the cheese! Let me know what you think, ok, dude? Have an awesome Monday! xoxoxo The "well-behaved" T*
Woa... did my eyes deceive me? T* behave?!! LOL! Quick look outside... two blue moons in the sky! ;) The 'troops' will be gathering in NY very soon indeed... :) Now don'tchya feel special there Lau-man?! LOL! You have people coming in from the West, from the North and from the south... okay, so you're surrounded... but really nothing to fear. It's a good thing. :) Plus... we have goodies to share. Take care all.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. My boys came home after a two week vacation with their Dad...it was great to see them...little maniacs...lol...but I was "almost" climbing the walls yesterday..."almost"! Yeah and they are leaving in 5 days to spend 2 weeks with my sister...I guess we are all spoiled! Larry: Did you hear that Greg was mentioned on AMC on Friday...they are listening to us! ALso, some polls popped up about "Would you like to see Greg Nelson come back to AMC". GREAT, HUH! Here is the link to one: http://forums.about.com/ab-allmychldrn/messages/?msg=16623 ( you need to log in) and the polls are on the left hand side of the screen. Everone go on out and vote. There was an over-whelming lead - 99% Yeses! Isn't that awesome?!?!?!? Hope you are doing well! And folks, I am going to send out comments from fans (that I collected this weekend)about a possible return of Greg in today's "reminder" email instead of a picture or a saying..so SEND, SEND, SEND! Have a great day everyone!....Nancy @)=========
Broadway Joe's? Could a certain teenager tag along? Please say yes! If you go, lol....T* You promised to behave? Where's the fun in that? LOL....Hope you're all well, Larry, and hope we see you on AMC soon. Things are looking good! XOXO-Natasha
Natasha, I said I "MIGHT" go so far as to promise to behave. Now, I am only in trouble if Larry actually holds me to that promise. It is hard for me to behave- I think my record time is about...oh..5 minutes! LOL! It could be quite entertaining to watch my inner "feisty girl" duke it out with my inner "nice girl"-yes, Nicky, I am bringing the alters with! Geez, I hope there is room for all of us at the hotel! After reading this, Larry will probably pack his things, move to an undisclosed location, and join the witness protection program!! Gotta hit the road! Everyone be happy and safe! xoxo T*
T*, you are too funny! LOL...I want this to go on record here: Nancy Johnson, you rock! I got your package today with the Katharine Hepburn stuff in it! THANK YOU! It's so great! My grandmother started freaking too, she's like, that is really cool, you should put it in plastic. I have to miss chat tonight! I know I said I would never miss another one again, but I have to go to my mother's house. I'll be back Wednesday though. Take care while I'm gone all. XOXO-Natasha
It's me again, last post today, I promise. I lied in my last post, I won't be back until Friday! Ugh..my mother can really talk me into stuff, lol. Take care. XOXO-Natasha
T*--> You can bring who you want... just so long as they don't kick me in my sleep dang nabbit!! (Working on my American accent... how was that? A constant work in progress.) Natasha --> It would be great wouldn't it, since you are not going to the AMC luncheon. Looking so forward the Guggenheim and the Met. Some really interesting exhibitions are being added for the summer. Can't wait!! For now... it's back to work. See ya!
I typed in Larry's full name in the search input box at Excite TV, and another "JAG" episode was listed with the one that NYCJenn mentioned in one of her previous posts. The episode titled "Legacy," will be airing this coming Thursday on the USA Network at 7:00pm. Gee, now I can tape two of the "JAG" episodes with Larry as Dr. Lawrence Gettis. Groovy! :-)
Hello Everybody! You all are the best and sooooo funny. Witness Protection program? Hmmmmmmmmm. I'll think about that. But I think a little luncheon would be great if we could keep it manageable. I had a great weekend: saw a wonderful play called 'Avenue Q', heard the TWO TENORS sing in the concert in the park under the stars, it was magical, and I saw Finding Nemo which was great. I'm glad you're all doing so well and I look forward to seeing you soon. Stay well! xxx, Larry.
Gee, Larry finally posts a message here after not doing so since the 7th. It looks like he's been busy going out to see plays and movies. I think it's cute that he wanted to see the film "Finding Nemo." It makes him even more endearing, I have to say. :-)
Hey Larry, I saw Finding Nemo a while ago, I thought it was the cutest movie I've seen in a long time! I love Dory =). A little lunch thingy would be fun, just lemme know if it's a go! Yeah, Nicky, it would be nice since I am not going to the AMC one. I'm doing NYC the cheap way this time around, really cheap! lol..like, poor person cheap, but it's still gonna be fun. Central Park doesn't have an admission fee, right? Take care, I will be back home Friday! XOXO-Natasha
Hello! Larry...Great that you are getting to see all of these great plays and music and of course, Nemo! The Tenors must have been magnificent! Sounds beautiful! I finally bought a Josh Groban CD and am listening to it at work and OMG..how beautiful...amazing, absolutely inspiring...Very hard to believe he is so young! Definitely on my recommended list..yes..you too Kelly...Off to concentrate on work..no...on the music! Nancy@)=====
I thought the chat room here was supposed to be friendly, but, after what I experienced last night, I don't think I want to join anymore at the moment. I felt depressed later. I don't why I was put up against the wall about being someone else. I thought I had the right to be annonymous if I wanted to. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about everyone. Most of you were nice. I just don't why Nancy and Jenn felt that they had to flesh me out about being OLTLfan. What does it matter if I am, or not? Don't I have a right not to reveal information about myself, if it's not required? I agree with one of the posters here, that identifying someone's computer is unethical, unless I'm trying to do something wrong. I'm not. So, why am I going through this? If I want to hide what my real name is and other info, don't I have a right to, unless I'm signing up for an e-mail account? :-S
Shygal~ First, it wasn't Nancy nor I that "outed" you, and anyone in chat could back me up on that. Second, if you don't want to be known, you have that right. But, you can't help people for asking, since we all know each other and welcome new people. I'm really sorry you felt depressed afterwards because I thought we got passed the whole "who are you" thing by the end of chat when we were talking about sports and stuff. You seemed upset about something last night, and Nancy and I were willing to listen. If you felt depressed at the end, you certainly didn't show it. I don't feel your post, nor mine, are appropriate in this guestbook that is supposed to be supportive of Larry. So, if you feel you want to discuss this further, you are free to e-mail me at: NYCJennK@aol.com. I ask that Kat deletes this post when she gets back online, as I just don't know how to reach shygal other than this venue. To everyone else...smiles and lots of cyberhugs (even for you shygal..some of us ARE as nice as we think we are, btw!) =) Jenn
Larry~ Avenue Q- what was the play about? Piqued my curiosity. I just went to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the University here. One of the girls I work with was the stage manager for the production, and a bunch of us went in support. It was awesome! A concert in the park- under the stars~ sounds like a slice of Heaven to me!! I am glad you are enjoying yourself! Shygal~ I am sorry I didn't get to stick around last night as long as I normally would in chat. I enjoyed talking to you, and hope you will come to chat again. Chat can be diconcerting sometimes. I was so overwelmed the first time I came.I would enjoy talking to you some more. If you find chat a bit too much, you can email me at miller54601@msn.com and we can talk that way. No pressure if you don't want to. Just a thought! Take care everyone! My Dentist gave me a smiley sticker today because I was a good girl, so I am passing on the smile :) xoxo T*
Thanks for the tip Nanc. I am very familiar with Josh Grobin, BTW. I think he is amazing! I have been singing to a different tune lately. It's not the TWO TENORS or Mozart, but it is beautiful. ;) It Looks like I missed all the fun in chat again last night. I think I'll have to clear my calendar for next week and make sure to be there. I miss chatting with all of you. Jenn and Nancy; When times get tough, I know you are there, that means everything. Thanks for being who you are. =) =) =) Kelly~
Hey all...something exciting happens every time I miss chat! I will be there next week for sure. Shygirl, I've known many of these women a while and they are all as nice as they think they are, lol. Espically Jenn and Nancy (you rock, Nancy!) I don't think there's an evil bone on either one of their bodies, lol. I am sorry you felt singled out, I am sure they didn't mean it. Larry, sounds like you've been enjoying yourself lately, are you gonna catch Kathy Brier in Hairspray when she takes over? I want to so badly! Take care all! XOXO-Natasha
Hi Larry~ I have to tell you that I really enjoyed the playful scenes between Jaime and Lisa on Another world yesterday! And Jaime singing in the shower- how cute was that? Yes, Larry, I can keep it manageable~ I am, after all, a manager! There would be about 8 of us~ if that is ok with you. Would Saturday or Sunday work better for you? Hey, Natasha- welcome home! Hope you had some fun while you were gone! I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!! I have to work all weekend, but that's ok~ it's all good! xoxo T*
Hey everyone sounds SO excited about meeting Larry and that is great...I have been there...I know the feeling..but I feel it must be said at this point that Kat and I will be handling ALL arrangements for ANY POSSIBLE luncheon or get-together with Larry, above and beyond the luncheon. Please take this as it was meant, in the best interest of Larry's and of course his fans security. I also feel that it is best that it not be a topic in the guestbook as many, many people read the guestbook. Kat is out of reach until mid next week and all plans will be made when she and I can talk. I do not want to disturb her when we all can handle this matter in a constructive adult manner. If you have any questions about this, you can email me at nancy@laurencelau.com. Kat and/or I will be in touch with the people involved regarding the outcome of discussions between her, Larry and I regarding this matter. Thanks in advance for all of your cooperation. Nancy @)========
having been a lurker in the guestbook for 5 mos or so, i felt the need to say something here. why don't you let Mr. Lau make his own decisions?
oh and btw, been one of those who just read the guestbook, i making no plans to disturb your get together. Mr. Lau, miss you alot on OLTL, you were really good nd the show is miserable without you. *a friend*
Hey T*, just wanted to say thanks for the welcome home! I am here, don't wanna be, lol. Can't wait until August!!! Nancy, sounds good! Whatever you say, Madame Vice President =)...can't wait. XOXO-Natasha
Hi Larry, As always,it sounds like you're enjoying life, keeping busy and having fun. It's been awhile since I've been around. I was in Hawaii for a couple weeks,it was soooooo beautiful and had such a great time that I didn't want to come home. And next week I'll be going to Chicago to meet my new niece who was born on July 17th:~) Wish I could come to N.Y. next month to go to the AMC luncheon, but I have to start saving up my airline miles for my oldest nieces' wedding this Christmas..Anyways,take care & be safe...All you lucky ladies who are going to N.Y. for the luncheon, have a great time and can't wait to hear all the stories. And give Larry a big hug for me!!Take care everyone! xo Lisa
I don't know what I did to Nancy, to make her feel that she needs to find out information to use against me. I didn't say anything bad about her or her family. If she's doing this because I said something about her Yankees, then she's the one with a problem. I believe she was trying to use me as a scapegoat, for whatever made her feel bad enough to feel that she needs to make me look bad in other people's eyes, including you-know-who. Fan sites of Celebrities should be a friendly place to visit. I feel now that this site isn't, no thanks to Nancy. If you want this site to keep on being promoted as a friendly one for fans to visit, then someone like Nancy shouldn't be allowed to treat visitors the way she treated me. The "Best"? Please, give me a BREAK! P.S. I forgot how mean Yankee fans can be.
OMGsh, you guys. I was just talking to my 6 year old brother...he knows the words to Nelly's song, that "it's getting hot in herre, so take off...." song! He's six! lol..kids these days =). Anyway, Larry, just wanted to say that I finally saw you on Another World!!! Not too shabby! Miss seeing your happy face every day! I hope ABC wises up soon! XOXO-Natasha
Well, it took a little time But I guess you finally learned That promises get broken And bridges do get burned You've been siftin' through the ashes Just tryin' to find a flame Holdin' on to nothin' You're a victim of the game You were standin' way too close To see it all fall apart And there were things you couldn't hear 'Cause you were listenin' with your heart But you can't say I didn't warn you Now there's no one else to blame There's on one quite as blind As a victim of the game And it don't matter who you are It treats everyone the same All you need's a heart To be a victim of the game You know it's really gettin' to you When you take to tellin' lies And you can try to fool your friends But yo can't look 'em in the eye There ain't no standin' tall In the shadow of the shame When everybody knows That you're a victim of the game And it don't matter who you are It treats everyone the same All you need's a heart To be a victim of the game Oh, you know, when I look into your eyes I can really feel the pain Starin' in the mirror At a victim of the game
Nancy~ I feel the need to tell you that I found your post- and your email to me- quite condescending, and greatly unappreciated. Anything above and beyond the luncheon is, quite frankly, Larry's business, not yours. When I posted to Larry, it was simply one person(myself), asking Larry(himself), about getting together for a few laughs- NOT a fan club function. Not all of us are members of the fan club. I am dumbfounded that you feel it is necessary to have a meeting of the minds to discuss whether Larry can hang out with some of us. That is all this is-just a group date! It wasn't a big deal until you stepped in and turned it into one. I have always thought that Larry was extremely intelligent-being of sound mind and hard body-and quite capeable of making his own decisions. And since I was the one who asked Larry, I feel I am more than capeable of putting something together that is fair to everyone.I don't know why you always feel the need to step in and take over. It is NOT a fan club function-it doesn't concern you. Quite frankly...it's NACHO BUSINESS!! Please don't ruin this for everyone!
Hey Everybody; I hope you all had great weekends. I was up in New England helping my friend Bob move from Mass. to Keene, N.H., where he's begun his new job as a flight instructor. Unfortunately we were too busy moving stuff to get any flying time in, and when we were finished and did have the time, thunder storms ruled the sky. Bummer! But there'll be other opportunities. Speaking of which, I'm going to ask everybody to take a little chill pill regarding getting together for lunch after the AMC fan club affair. This guest book has always been a source of upbeat fun and I insist it stay that way. Nancy and a few others have put together in the past a few small get-togethers and they were easy and fun and uncomplicated, and being as she is basically our point person here in this area it makes sense that she handle the arrangements, especialy since Kat is in the middle of moving home and family across the country and is a bit busy to say the least. So, let me take the blame for not being specific about this and allowing confusion put its big toe in the door. We will abide no acrimony here in this guest book; I want evrybody to kiss and make up; life is too short! My best, Larry.
Hey Larry! Just checking in after a long absence. Hope you are doing well. Bummer about the flying thing. I say you need to take a few classes from Bob and get your own pilots license:) Glad to hear you are attending the AMC luncheon....I hope that is a sign. As for the fan gathering, here's my two cents...I think fans would like something for "LL fans"...kinda like TT had after the OLTL luncheon for his fans last year. It was made public but limited. It can be an unpublished location, date, and time but it should be an equal opportunity thing. These private secret things create friction for all those left out. Hey dude, everyone wants a piece of you!! Must feel good. Have fun with life and work...yes, it is too short! Miss you! Donna:)

Whew! Thanks for stepping in, Larry. I was getting a bit uncomfortable. Sorry you couldn't get any flying in...maybe next time! You be careful up there, kay? Don't want to see on the six o'clock news that the soap opera heart-throb Larry Lau is in ICU after having a plane crash or something! lol..no thank you. Looking forward to what ever happens in NYC...kises and hugs all around-Natasha
Hey im new here and just wanted to say that is a great site
Hey Lauman… good to hear from you. So it was a weekend of ‘hard labor’ for you. I’m sure Bob must have appreciated that. Glad you could shed some light on the confusion going around. However, it should be mentioned that it wasn’t without cause. Donna... your post was very true. If we can all put it behind us that would be truly wonderful. Do take care… and here’s hoping you’ll be amongst the clouds soon enough. ~Nicky~
Hey Larry, glad to hear you're doing great. I haven't been around much, you know, with trying to have a life and everything. Not really succeeding, though! Looking forward to seeing you at the AMC luncheon, and I really hope to see you on AMC again soon! Thanks, Donna for your post. As one who has been left out in the past, I can truly agree that it isn't any fun! So Larry, despite what happens here, I will support you and your career no matter what! You rock! Patti in PA.
Donna, you're idea sounds like a good one, thanks; maybe we can make that happen. xxx, Larry.
You're welcome Larry! Just looking out for YOUR best interest...lol!!! Need to keep ALL the fans happy ya know. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.:) I'm sure you know you have many fans who are less vocal but still watch, write, and follow your career. I for one am rooting for whatever floats your boat (but primetime would be nice:). Anyhoo take care, be happy, and dance like no one is watching!!Donna:)
Hi Larry, very nice of you to help Bob out like that. Moving is always more work than you think it will be. I am moving this weekend and I am dreading every minute of it. Ugh, the lifting! LOL! It sounds like you are keeping busy with life and enjoying yourself. I caught a little clip of Sam today on Soapnet., it was a little clip of you and Hillary B. Smith. Hillary was having some trouble with a line and the two of you were laughing. It was great to hear your laugh today and see your smile. I would like to think of you laughing and smiling when you read this guest book. Having fun is what it's all about, that's how it's always been here and in chat. I guess if you take this stuff too seriously, people can get their feelings hurt. Many of the jokes "seem" like inside jokes. Sometimes, things can be easily taken out of context in which they were meant. I hope everyone here can stop competing and just try to have fun. We all love to support you Larry and that's the common thread that brought us here in the first place. Larry Ladies: It takes SO much energy to be negative. Why not put all that energy to use and write some positive letters to TPTB?! we need to represent like ladies! Kelly~
Hey all...I know I said I didn't want to miss chat again, but it's my little sister's last softball game tonight (unless they win) and I have to go..I already missed my other sister's last game and they won the enitre championship. I'll catch ya twice next week for sure..Take care..XOXO-Natasha
Hi Everyone! Hope you are all doing well! I just got back from vacation to Alaska and Seattle... it is so beautiful in that part of the country, it made me dread going back to the flat lands of Florida! Larry I certainly miss you on my television every afternoon... quite honestly I haven't even felt like watching the soaps since you left :o( Love ya all and miss you all bunches XXXOOO's -Kate
Larry it is great to see you are posting again I thought you were mia lol Missy
Hi folks! How is everyone doing? AM came to visit me from The Windy City...and while at the airport, my eyes met those of one "John Stamos"! I turned to tell AM and turned back and he was leaving with two sort of big guys in hawaiian shirts...yes folks after talking with an expert...we determined those folks were The Beach Boys..LOL! They were performing at one of the casino's last night. Tonight we went to see a play at the Goodspeed and it was great! "Very Good Eddie"..it was on Broadway in the late 70's..singing, dancing, comedy..it was awesome! Larry..I think you should come to CT and star in one of their plays...what do you think? Awesome productions! One of the actors was SO funny..Gerry Vichi, he has been in a lot of Broadway plays, check him out if you get a chance! OK! Well...I haven't posted in a while...what did you expect, a quick hello? LOL! Oh and AM says HI! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Think Happy Thoughts!..Nancy @)=======
I am so jealous, Nancy! You saw John Stamos?! He's cute! Don't worry, Larry, you're still the cutest...is that a word? AM sounds nice, lol, I just talked to her. Glad you are having fun! Larry...what's new in the big city? Hear anything from a certain ABC soap yet? I'm keepin 'em crossed for ya! XOXO-Natasha
OMGsh! You are talking to an actual college student now! I got in to IBC! I just got my letter today, and you guys are practically the first to find out 'cause no one else is home! YAY! I am so glad...in three and a half years, I will have a bachelors degree in computer programming! Wish me luck! XOXO-Natasha..now if I can only get through senior year!
Hello you guys. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We saw a wonderful play called 'Exonerated'; it's the true stories of men and women who spent years on death row and finally were set free after DNA evidence proved their innocence. Makes you wonder how many others weren't so 'lucky'. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you this weekend; and I hope all feelings regarding the confusion of having a lunch thing are smoothed over; it was an honest misunderstanding. I wish you all the best, Larry.
Hey Larry..That play sounds cool. I think Barbara (Niven) went and saw that play a while ago. She said she enjoyed it. Hope too meet ya this weekend too, or if not, everyone here that's going to the OLTL luncheon. Couldn't make the AMC one this year, maybe next year. XOXO-Natasha
It's been quite a while since I posted but I wanted to wish all of you ladies a wonderful time this weekend at the luncheon. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend. I was so looking forward to meeting all of you. Maybe next year. Larry I think you're in for a wild ride but I'm sure you're quite capable of handling all of these ladies. Have Fun!
Nancy - John huh I remember him on gh than watched him on full house too you have all the luck but Larry is the best in my book . Hope you ladies have fun this weekend Missy
..hey Larry and all! I am so excited about this weekend, can ya tell?!?!?!!! I cannot wait to meet all of you that are going, but Nicky! I lost your email address! ll Duce threw away the piece of paper it was on....grr. Email me at princesssolo@yahoo.com....I have to meet you! We are all going to have so much fun! Take care and see ya in the Baked Apple! XOXO-Natasha
Hey Larry, Hope you have fun at the luncheon this weekend. Have a question for you...is there a snail mail address -- other than the fan club -- where we can send letters "for your eyes only"? Perhaps via your manager or agent? Thanks, Gale
Well… my bags are packed and I’m ready to go… but I won’t be leaving on a jet plane… I’ll just be catching the train. 12 hours of riding through the country side… lovely. Have to admit that it’s better than the last time about a month or so ago. At least I won’t be in the back of jammed van making friends with a microphone stand this time. (Long story… But that is definitely NOT your business! But it *can* be for only $19.95! LOL!) Looking so forward to spending some time in the city… it’s been ages since I’ve been there for a length of time. One full week… weeeee! So much to do, so much to see! Playing the ultimate tourist! T* is already… ummm… half way there by now, if my calculations are correct… (BTW… I was really *bad* at math.) Can’t wait to meet some of you guys either (lil’ Sis). Thanks for bringing us together Larry… this will be a fun trip indeed. Take care all… and happy trails to those that are traveling. Slainté!
Happy and safe travels everyone. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Gale, as far as I know, all mail should still go thru Kat. ox, Larry.
Hope you have a great time with the luncheon Larry and fans. Great question Gale as I was wondering the same only won't we need to update the snail mail address if Kat has moved? Donna:)
Thanks Larry. Donna addressed the point I was trying to make, but I appreciate your responding :)
Hey all that were in NYC today, it was great to finally meet you!!! Thanks for the memories and hopefully see ya next year, if not before then. HAMS & PEAS!!!! I finally know what that means now.....Happy Birthday, Larry, roflmao. XOXO-Natasha
Hello Everybody; just wanted to say thanx for all your support yesterday; it was great to see so many of you and I hope you as good a time as I did. You are all, as always, the best. xo, Larry.
Larry, it was great to see you yesterday and see the INCREDIBLE amount of support from ALL of your fans - from AMC, OLTL and AW. They were all so excited to see you and miss you on their TV's! It was great to be there to see it! Crazy wonderful day!...Nancy @)=====
Hey all...no chat for me tonight! Nicky and T*, if you guys check in anytime soon, enjo your time in the Baked Apple, if not, I expect a fully detailed email from one or both of you! How is everyone adjusting to normal life? I am so bored!!! I miss NYC! I was actually bored at work today and I was busy, that's how slow things are here compared to there. I envy those of you who live close...but enough of my rant. Nancy, how did the pictures turn out? Good I hope, I saw some of Jenn's. She emailed them to me, thanks again Jenn! Hugs and Kisses all...XOXO-Natasha
Helloooo one and all. Having a WONDERFUL time in NYC!!! Thank you Larry for everything... YOU are really the best... as always. ~wink~ Tremendous time we've been having. T* & I have been the ultimate ET's... Extreme Tourists... and having a ball!!! Did Ellis Island and the Green Lady (Oh... and BTW Larry... I expected her to be bigger than she was... Just kidding! LOL!!) Did the Empire State Building today... and walked Central Park entirely! Phew... our feet are sore. Catching some great entertainment in the evening. We have one more day... and we still have so much to do! Bought some great artwork to take home. Wow! Stunning. Thanks for the recommendations... it's been great! Take care... see you soon. ~Nicky & Tatermouse~
Hey Larry and everyone--it was great to see you all over the weekend. Larry--thanks for spending some time with us! If anyone is interested in seeing my photos from the weekend, check out my webshots site: http://community.webshots.com/user/peppermintpatti29 Hope you enjoy! Patti

Woah, Larry, you are soooo lucky you went west when you did, lol. Aren't you glad you aren't in NYC right now? I am actually bummed that I am not there, =)...I hate missing things and the power going out in five states (and in NYC alone) is a big thing! To all of you who are stuck in NYC (I know you can't read this!) I hope you are careful and stay out of the sun! Poor Nicky and T*, they were stupposed to leave on trains! XOXO-Natasha
Carla , Larry , and ladies glad you and everyone had a blast sounds like it was lots of fun . Missy
Hello everyone! It sounds like everyone had fun this weekend. If I could have been there, I would have. I missed all of you. Patti and Jenn; thanks for sharing your pictures. =) Something tells me that Nicky and T* are making the best of this power problem in NYC. I was lucky,I never lost power here in Syracuse. Larry; Did you get that hug I sent you? If not, you get two next time. Best of luck with whatever comes next for you. Nicky; ~wave~ right back at ya! Kelly~
Hey Larry!!! I'm sending a wave back your way (wax on, wax off)LOL... I wish I was in the city for the gathering to see you and meet your fans. And of course spend time with Jenn. Next time I'm in town we'll get together... Love, Angela
Larry and All~ The mouse finally made it home!!! Nicky's train left around 9:00 Friday morning, and I sat at Penn Station by myself until 5:00 that afternoon!! My train was about 2 hour late- but at least I got out! I had some snacks with me, but I didn't have anything to drink or have real food until I got on the train!!I only had to wait about 1-1/2 hours in Chicago to transfer trains. I arrived in LaCrosse, Wis. a little after 7 tonight. The bad news -after all of this- the power was off at my house!! A transformer blew and one side of our street~ the T* side ~ was without power until a little while ago! So~ how is everyone else doing? LOL! Larry- Nicky and I wished you were still in NY...we could have used a cup of coffee! J/K!! Hope you are having fun! Love Ya! xoxo T*
To Larry and All~ What an incredible week this has been for me! My first train ride..my first trip to New York.. and the first time meeting all of you! Ladies~it was so wonderful to finally meet the friends I have made this past year in person! You are all so very special, and I hope these friendships last forever! Nicky~ I thank you for the most precious gift you could have given..your friendship. I will cherish it always. Thank you for sharing this past week with me. Larry~ well, a face was finally put with the name. Hope you weren't to disappointed! LOL! It was such an honor and extreme priviledge to finally meet you in person! What a sweet and generous soul you are for sharing your time with us! I have such incredible memories of this time that will last long after the photographs have faded. I thank you just for being you-don't ever change-you are perfect just the way you are! You - Larry - are simply the best! Love and happiness always, T*
Hey T*, glad you made it home okay! You are so lucky you got to spend a week there, I only had those few days that I still cannot talk about, lol. I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat, even if it meant I'd have to put up with Nicky, lol. Speaking of, has she contacted you yet? Do we know if she's home?! Big Sis, post soon! Larry, how's the west coast treating you? Glad you missed the blackout? Take care all. XOXO-Natasha
Hey Natasha~ yes, Nickster is home! I talked to her on the phone today before I went to work. The internet is down where she is, but she will be posting and contacting everyone when it comes back up. I really enjoyed meeting you last Sunday! Note to Larry~ next time you decide to leave-think Motel 6- and please leave the lights on! I walked into a door on Thursday, and I have a lump on my forehead! Don't laugh! OK, it was actually kind of funny, just not at the time! LOL! Take care everyone! Ya'll rock!! T*
Hi ya everyone... have to make this quick as I don't if I'm going to lose the internet connection again. We've been having rolling blackouts here to help conserve power. I did manage to make it home. Had a most excellent adventure in NYC. LOL! Hey T*--> couldn't think of anyone else better to sleep with on the streets of NY!! Even thwarting a would be mugging!! Very cool! It was great to get home to a shower that worked! (The 'homeless' smell does come out! Ick!) I'm going to get a black t-shirt with an arrow on it saying this is where I was durring the Blackout of 2003. LOL! Got some great shots of Time Square dark. A rarity no doubt. But you got a real sense of what it must have been like during 9/11! People were incredibly friendly and very helpful! And I am going to make a donation to our new friends at the Actor's Chapel on 48th Street. They were so kind... giving us something to eat and drink... and listening to the radio for news. Nancy --> thank you so much for the pictures! They are fabo!! I do have some comments... and if my internet connection holds, I'll get them out to you. NYCJenn --> So glad we talked Sista!! So you think my NY accent would pass?! LOL! Kelly --> So sorry you couldn't make it, I was looking forward to meeting you. Next time. Lil' Sis... it was SOOO great to meet you! Even though you still insist that I'm a nutty gal. ~wink~ To all the ladies... it was really wonderful to meet you all! Spud Varmit --> I could have not chosen a better friend to spend time with. I had a real blast mo chara! Even though we didn't get to see a play on our final night... or our fancy dinner. Next time girlfriend... next time! Thank you for exploring NYC with me... it was such a great time! Remember, next time... pack light... and wheels girl... wheels on baggage are essential! Larry --> Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so generous! It was simply lovely to meet you and having the opportunity to chat. I am working on fixing the formatting and getting it out to you as soon as I can. Sorry I couldn't leave it with you as I had intended. Take care all... and I hope my connection is still on. Hope I can make it to chat tonight... if not by Wednesday they say things will be back together. ~Peace out~
P.S. Patti --> We missed you after you left! Thank you for indulging me with a carriage ride through the park for our birhday celebrations! And for the gift of green! Take care GF... and we'll speak soon.
Hey. Just getting caught up from the NYC trip. Just wanted to say that I very much enjoyed meeting all of you at dinner. Although I don't post often, I recognize names and it was nice to put them together with faces. It was great to meet you in person Nancy and it's always great to see you NYJenn. Larry, sorry I couldn't stay for dinner but it was great to see you again. (I did give your hi to Jill M too) Glad to read that you NY'ers are safe. I can only imagine that blackout was scary and then once you knew it wasn't terrorist related, an adventure. I love how people come together in times of need too. Again, nice to meet those of you at dinner in NY and hope to see you next year. Hopefully Larry will be playing Greg by next luncheon. Janice
Oh sheesh... not her again!! LOL! Where IS that delete key?!! Anyways... have some news... our band still may be heading to NYC again for Sept. 13th, details are still being worked out. However, if it **does** land on that particular date, I will not be there. I just got word I'm heading in for surgery and will be taking some time off to recoop. It's all good! I've been waiting for this for years! It's only oral surgery... and I'm **really** looking forward to biting into an apple at the end of all this! So thought I would keep ya updated. LOL! I'll stop now. Hope you are all doing great!
Dear God... it's me again! LOL! Tnk...tnk... (knock on monitor glass) Anyone else out there? LOL! Anyways... Larry, I just wanted to let you know that I passed the info for Stratford onto Kat. Hopefully she will get that to you soon. Take care. Now I'm going to unplug my computer... (as loud cheers are heard) See what happens when I get my power back. ~Ugh~
Geezo-peezo!! It is 97 degrees here, and yes, Nicky, I do actually sweat! LOL! I am still amazed that with all the walking we did in the sun, that I did not turn into a fried crispy critter! So happy to hear that a date has been set for your surgery. It won't be long before you can finally take a bite out of the big apple! Keep me posted, mo chera! Larry~HEY DUDE- how is the California dreaming? Hope you are having a most excellent adventure! Be safe and enjoy life! xoxo T*
YAY! Nicky, I was worried until you said you've been waiting for this surgery and that it's only oral, lol. Don't do that again or I'll have to tell mom, lol. Hopefully soon you can bite the big apple, lol, just make sure you tell me when 'cause I want a piece too. Hey...no chat for Natasha for a while =(. I have to work and work and work! It seems I am scheduled for every Monday and Wednesday for a while atleast, dang it. So be safe all, and I'll talk to you when I can. Larry, how was California? Nicky, remember, vicadin are your friend! lol..ask for 'em even if you don't need them! They are lovely for pain! XOXO-Natasha
Yes… it’s me… the Verbosity Queen. LOL! Didn’t mean to worry you lil’ Sis. However, visiting me during September might be a good thing since my jaw will be wired shut for a time. LOL! (Enjoy the silence.) “Too darn bad your fingers will still be working”… I can hear your thoughts; I’m pah-sychic that way. LOL! It’s been an ongoing problem and now they finally have the technology to finally fix it for good. [Insert happy dance!] Mind you… it’s going to cost about the same as a luxury car… but it’s worth it in my book.
Hey...Nicky, it's okay, just don't let it happen again, okay? lol...I am glad things are working out, sorry I can't make it to your show. I am planning a trip to NYC next summer, when is the AMC luncheon? Have they said yet? The way things look now, I am not going to go to the OLTL one. How is everyone else around here?! This guestbook is dead! I can make it to chat next Wednesday as far as I know....thank gooddness! Take care, hope you're all doing okay. XOXO-Natasha
Natasha~ cool beans! Glad to hear you can make it next Wednesday! We missed ya, you know! I am planning on going back to New York next year, too. I absolutely fell in love with New York- the atmosphere and the energy you get, makes you feel so alive! I can understand now why Larry loves living there so much. Coming back to a little town like LaCrosse was kind of a letdown. But I consider myself a very lucky girl- I have some terrific memories, and some awesome friends- and I wouldn't trade either for anything! Have a great weekend, everyone! xoxo T*
Live from... well... not New York... It's Saturday Night! Hope you're all doing well. Beginning to wonder if you have all gone into the Witness Protection Program. Hmmm?! Puttered around the ol' homestead today cleaning and putting up the art work I managed to acquire during my trip. (Have to go back for more! Plus more bricks from the Brooklyn Bridge... I'm missing a few. No comments on being a few bricks shy of a wall now...) Had some 'daily' work the past couple of days, plus being inspired and writing again. Hope to hear that all is well and dandy with everyone. Take care.
It must be the heatwave that has made everyone less chatty. It has been 90 degrees here for the last week. People are thinking mostly about fans, air conditioners, sweet ice tea and other cold beverages. September and the cooler weather that it brings can't get here fast enough. For all of you Lau fans. There is a picture of Larry Lau with Jill Larson from the AMC fan luncheon in the latest edition of Soap Opera Weekly. The issue should be on newstands this week.
Hey Larry and all~What a great day today- even though it was so freakin' hot! I attended my 30th high school reunion- what a blast! It was held at the ski lodge by my house-the only thing missing was the snow!! If you think cool thoughts, it doesn't seem so hot~ like in 4 months it's Christmas! OK, that might make you crazy, but the stores are air-conditioned!! Larry~ sorry to hear that the Jets lost Chad P. for about 12 weeks. But the Jets will still be great- they are an awesome team! Have a great week! xoxo T*
