Hey Everybody; just wanted to say hello; one more show and then I´m off to see THE DAVID in Florence and a week of R and R. This has been an incredible experience and part of me is sad that it´s over, but I´m truly grateful that it happened. It´s been such a gift. I´m really looking forward to seeing parts of Italy, and I know I´m going to love it. But, I must say, truthfully, I can´t wait to get back home---I miss New York. Hope you´re all well, take care of yourselves, ox, Larry.
Hi Larry, Have a great last show on Saturday and enjoy your well deserved vacation in Italy. Have fun and be safe. xo Lisa
Buon giorno, Lorenzo. Come sta? You'll be eating good there in Italy, for sure. I've been watching the Food Network's shows about Italian cooking - like Mario Batali's - and there is more than spaghetti, lasagna,etc. to Italian cuisine. Boy, are you lucky! I love Italian food!
~~~>To Kelly: I've just started building my web site. I'm not ready yet to show it to others. At the moment I only know Basic Html. I'd like to learn Javascript, though. There are sites like Webmonkey that teach Basic Html and Javascript. Also, I have to admit that the Yankees are a great team, but, I'm not going to say they Rock. I think the Dodgers and Mariners do. Go Dodgers & M's!!! :-)
~~~>To Nancy: Thanks for allowing me to use one of Larry's photos. I really appreciate it. I hope the one I chose is OK with you. BTW, do you know Larry's middle name? He didn't answer me about it. ~~~>I'm glad the Lakers were finally knocked out of the playoffs!
Angela~ the comment about Detroit rocking MIGHT mean more if you actually cared about basketball! But, sad to say...Detroit won the series against Philly tonight. So..it's on the rooting for the NJ Nets against Detroit for me. I actually don't care who wins now, I'm just happy the Lakers are out of it! Enough about basketball...lol!
Larry, have a great time in Italy! New York misses you too kid. =) Kelly~
Larry: Salute (cheers) to your last show! Italy...beautiful break between Austria and home..."Abbia un tempo magico"-(-means have a magical time! "When in Rome....do as the Roman's do!" FYI...CT misses you too! I get to take my baby to the circus today! ROAR! Debba Andare (means - Gotta go)! Buono Viaggio! Baci ed Abbraccia (means -XOXO) ...Nancy @)==== (fyi..thanks to my son's electronic penpal website for the english to italian translations...they make things so easy for kids these days!) HAVE FUN!
Buon Giorno, Larry! Well, this ride is almost over. What an incredible "second chapter" this has been! Cherish your last performance in Austria, enjoy "The David", and get plent of R&R, because "Chapter Three" awaits! The Book of Larry Lau just gets better and better! I am sure you miss New York, and New York misses it's favorite son! Let us know when you are heading back, and we will do a rousing Larry Lau fan club rendition of "New york, New York"! Goda la vostra vacanza! Tutto il la cosa migliore! xoxo Amore, T* PS. Go Cubbies!
Have a wonderful last show Larry ---> Take the bow, it's been a great run! Have a tremendous time in Italy. Don't want to be a pooter parpy... but just to give you a little warning... David isn't as large as we have a tendency to believe he is... but then again, size doesn't matter ;)... (Girls, get your mind out of the gutter!!) Just as Rodin's "The Thinker" isn't a huge statue, neither is David... but then again, think when in history he was created and how much we have grown (literally) in our own evolution... he was gigantic in the day. He's still magnificant though... enjoy! Ciao!
Larry~ Have a great last show and a fabulous time in Italy...the weather is gorgeous here in the city, and I'm sure it'll be even nicer by the time you get back! :) Jenn
Have a great final performance. It is sad that it will be ending but you will always have the memories to cherish. Enjoy the art, cuisine, and scenery in Italy. Both the Yankees and Braves are winning right now. Maybe they will have another rematch in the World Series. Ciao.
btw...how come it is displaying my LP but nobody else's? This doesn't seem very ethical!

To the Webmasters of this site: Are you planning another Chat A&Q session with Larry some time in the near future? I hope so. I wasn't around for the first one you had with him. I'd like to get direct answers to some of the questions I'd like to ask him. ~~>Buon giorno, Lorenzo. Come sta? I hope your vacation in Italia is going fine so far. Take care and be safe. I'm worried about you.
Ooops! I made a mistake. I mean Q&A, not A&Q. How embarrassing! Eeeeek! :-] TAFN
Hi OLTL fan,
Sure I would love to do another Q&A chat session here with Larry. Not sure when, but I'm sure we can arrange one after he returns back to the States.
Have a great week folks!

Hey Larry..I know it's a little late, but I hope you have a blast in Italy! Glad to hear that your show went well and that you're missing the States, 'cause we miss you too! Even though you've been a doll posting here and all so it's not like you went anywhere....but we know you did! Rambling, sorry. Anyway...enjoy Italy! Ciao...the only Italian I know besides basta (from Moonstuck; I think it means enough). XOXO-Natasha
To Kat: Thanks for answering my question about having another Chat session with Larry. I'm looking forward to being apart of it.
Oooops! I made another mistake! Yikes! I meant to say that I'm looking forward to taking part in the next Chat Session with Larry. I think I need to study my English Grammar book. Eeeeeeeek! :-]
Hey everybody! I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine. Just a little note: Christina Aguilera: "Stripped" is a great find.If you don't have it, get it! JUST FABULOUS! =) Have a great day! xxoo, Kelly~
Okay, let me rephrase that. Christina's CD, "Stripped" is a great find. LOL! That sounds better. Jeez! LOL! Kelly~
Glad you clarified that Kelly... for a moment there I thought you switched 'teams' ;) It is a great album though! Quite powerful!
Nicky, Nicky, Nicky! Switch teams? LOL! It's late in the season...but not that late.LOL! I found the CD to be very inspirational. Just wanted to share. NOW BEHAVE YOU CRAZY CANADIAN! ;-) Kelly~
Buon Giormo! I love Florence! I've seen more than I can possibly begin to describe; the art work is staggering; I've seen the DAVID three times; it is without question the greatest work of art I have ever seen and will probably ever see; it's simply and purely the work of a genius. I've seen Da Vinci, Raphael, Ruben, Carravagio, Cellini, Giambologna, Bartolomeo, Titian, Lippi, Vasari, and more that I'm forgetting; it becomes overwhelming after awhile. It is a beautiful city and I will be back someday. I'm catching a train to Venice tomorrow, spending a couple of days in that City of Islands. I wonder if they would consider shooting AMC in Italy?
All my best, ciao! Larry.
Hey there Larry! Sounds incredible! Glad you are having a great time! Great to hear from you! I could picture a nice location shoot for AMC! Have fun in Venice! Nancy @)=====
Buon Giorno, Lorenzo! It's good to hear from you! I'm glad that you're having a wonderful time so far in Italia, seeing all the great art works that have been around for centuries. I'm familiar with some of the artists you mentioned, but not all of them. I hope that you have a safe trip to Venice, and that you'll have a wonderful there also. Ciao, Bambino! ;-) PS: How do you find Italian people? Do you find the women there gorgeous?
Buon Giorno, Tizio(dude)! Great to hear that you are enjoying your much deserved vacation! Shooting Tutti Miei Bambini (All my Children)in Italy would be Da Bomb! Florence could double for Valle del Pino(Pine Valley). Enjoy the treno(train) ride..a great way to see the country! Tutto il la cosa migliore (All the best)! xoxo T*
Hey there, Long time no see! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, a lot of things have been going on. Larry, Congrats on your show turning out so well and so glad to hear that you are enjoying Italy. I know I'm a little behind here but wanted to say Hi! Glad to hear that your going to the AMC Luncheon this year, does that mean your coming back to AMC? I hope so! Have a great time! Hope to catch up with you all soon. Love ya, Angie
Well I wanted to say I just signed the Petition. I think it would be great for AMC to bring back Larry to the cast. Larry glad you are enjoying your vacation. Laura C.
Thanks Laura...I made a mistake when I said we only need 1 more signature for the petition...we needed 11...glad I don't do accounting anymore! LOL! But now we only need 4 signatures to make 900....Thanks everyone! I think TPTB need to have a HUGE package sent to them for Larry's return to the states...this package can contain 900 signatures, and a nice cover letter simply stating "HES BACK...DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT"!....Here's the link again...http://www.petitiononline.com/larrylau/ Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone! Larry...a man who truly appreciates art...a rare individual! Molto straordinario! Nancy @)====
Some more great news for Larry and his fans! Thanks to Kathleen for filling me in on this! SoapNet has acquired the rights to "Another World". Larry portrayed "Jamie Frame" on AW from 87-90. From what Soapnet is saying about where their storyline will start...Larry's story should be right at the start..beginning July 1st, they will be airing Another World daily. Here is the official press release: http://soapnet.go.com/about/pressreleases/051903_anotherworld.html ==> Congrats Larry! If we get our wish...Larry will be on AW and AMC DAILY! Larry gracing our TV screens 2X a day...This just "might" make up for not seeing "the Lauman" for a WHILE now.....Ciao!.Nancy @)==== (Larry are you smiling?)
Ok..Just who will be the 900th person to sign the petition? Well...(^.^)...I can narrow it down to the NEXT person to sign....LARRY'S FANS ROCK!...Nancy @)=====
Hi Larry, Sounds like you're having a great time on your vacation. More pictures to add to the photo album,huh? Hey,if you need a traveling companion for that trip back to Florence, I can most definitely be available. Enjoy the rest of your vacation and come back soon cuz you are missed here in the states. Be safe. xo Lisa
Hey Tizio! Are you enjoying Venice as much as Florence? I hope you have been having a blast and enjoying the view! This R&R seems to be agreeing with you quite nicely! So when are you planning to bring it all home? We really miss you back here! Take Care! xoxo T* PS.~ Have a safe Holiday Everyone!
Larry you have a fan here in Shreveport, Louisiana. I have been a fan of yours since the AMC days and would love to see the possibility of you reprising your role there. Wouldn't that be great? I miss you on OLTL. Hopefully things will look brighter. You are sorely missed!
Hey Sports Fans! I'm back stateside and it feels so great to be home! Hope everyone's doing good. I'm still jet lagged and just beginning the reentry process, but I want to say thanx again for all your support while I was away. You are THE BEST! Larry.
Hey Dude! Welcome home! I hope your flight back was a good one. Thanks again for sharing your adventure with us..it's been fun! It is a good thing you are back, sport! The Yankees have been down a little bit, and need some fan support. The Yankees and the Cubs play each other soon, so we have to rally the teams and get 'em fired up! Should be a great series! Oh, and just a reminder...*YOU* are the Best!! xoxo T*
Hey Larry~ Welcome back to NYC, glad you are home safe... Hope all is well with you... Miss ya! Angela

Good morning Larry! Welcome back, world traveler! Missed you!...TTYS! Nancy @)====
Hi OLTLfan!!!---Thank you I am happy to be on the Guest book!
Hi Larry, Welcome Back! I bet it feels so good to be back in your own place. Hopefully that jet lag won't stick around too long. With you being back now,does this mean what I hope it means:) Take care and have a great day.xo Lisa
Hey Fly Boy... welcome home! Hope your trip was all that you hoped for and more. Italy is truly beautiful! Give yourself some time to get back into the 'swing' of things... be good to yourself. ;) Keep smilin'.
Hey you guys, Something wonderful has happened to my Family! My Niece's name was recently added to the National Honor Roll! She is the first one in our Family to accomplish something like that. She'll be graduating from High School on June 12. Groovy, isn't it? I'm very proud of her! :-D
Hi Larry, Welcome back!! Glad to hear that you got home safe and sound:-) Take care buddy! Love ya, Angie
Welcome home Larry! Tell me what you missed the most about New York while you were away. Is that too pushy? LOL! To my friends here in the guest book; I would like to say thanks. You guys rock! Keep the faith! Kelly~
Hey Everybody! Just wanted to say hi. It feels great being back, reconnecting. As much as loved Vienna and Florence, New York remains the greatest city in the world. I think what I missed most is the lip we get from the waitress at our favorite coffee shop here in New York; you know you're back in the city when you hear the sass coming out of her mouth! Talk soon, Larry.
Larry: Glad that you are feeling back at home! Sass...ain't it a beautiful thing? Nancy @)====
Hi Larry, glad you're back!
Larry~ as someone who has worked in restaurants for almost 30 years, I can tell you that the sass comes easy...and it's free! It makes the job fun! There is nothing I like more than serving a great meal with a side dish of sass-always with a smile! It puts a smile on their face, too. Glad to hear you got the zippity in your doodah back! Was unpacking as much fun as the packing was? LOL! Take care, dude! xoxo T*
Larry~welcome back to the city! Everyone else~helloooooooo! Kelly~your welcome :)
Boy, it's getting more scary on OLTL lately, with Mitch Laurence hiding in the shadows trying to take revenge on Dorian, Blair, Lindsay and Jessica. I'm getting nervous expecting to see Mitch jump out of the bushes, or out from behind a door, to try to kill them. Eeeek! I can't take it! I might have a heart attack! :-O The actor chosen to play Mitch's brother, sure is a cutie! Hehe. ;-) ~~~> BTW Larry, have you heard that your friend from OLTL, Ty Treadway, is also being let go from the show? First you, now Ty! What's going on with TPTB? I'm tired of this. It won't be the same without him. >:-<
Welcome back. It sounds like you are adjusting to be being home. I guess it is true that you can travel over the entire world but there is no place like home.
Hi everyone and Patti you out there just wanted to know if you knew Ted King will be back as Loronzeno Alcazar Luis's brother on June 5th sorry girls I know this isn't to do with Larry but just wanted to tell Patti . ... How is everyone doing btw I have been so busy with the kids out of school ?
Hello to all!! Welcome back Larry, I hope that your adventure was all you were hoping for. Well, today I attended SSW in CA, missed seeing Larry, but have been spreading the word about the petition to anyone that responds positively when I mention wouldn't it be nice to have him in Pine Valley for Brooke? I wish I would have thought before hand I could have passed out cards or something. For those of you who have soap talk, I will be on next Friday, the 6th. There was an Erica Kane trivia contest between myself and another person, at the beginning of the show they taped yesturday at SSW about AMC. I met some of the nicest people today, and I have to say Catherine Hickland is about the most wonderful person, she was so warm and friendly, we chatted so long she was reprimanded, I was in a stupor when I walked away. So, gonna go, gotta full day tomorrow, and will give a better report from this end of the states. Oh, yes, I also met Susan Lucci at her tea yesturday, wow!! Ilene Kristin also said to email, email, email, she says the ptb do pay attention, she says there is so much politics at oltl she feels like she is on her way out as well. OK, bye for now Denyni
Larry, New York definitely has an energy unlike any other city. I always have the BEST time when I'm there. I'm convinced it's the people that make it so special. I have met some of the BEST people I know in New York. I have to fight the urge to jump in the truck and run off to the city all the time. LOL! Six days and counting! Jenn, get those boots fired up... I feel like stompin' around! Nanc, you'll hear me coming, pack light! LOL! ;-) Kelly~
Kelly..Lol! Pack light...LMAO! No chiming in Patti....LOL! I am listening for you...Miss Kelly!stomping...I CAN NOT WAIT....batten down the hatches Jenn....Denyni--sounds like you are having a great time...Thanks for sharing...I WILL TAPE you..girl!...Happy June everyone! Larry...ready for summer in the city? Wasn't that a song?...Nancy J@)=====
Larry~ 3 game series-Friday, Saturday and Sunday- the Yankees and the Cubs! 2 out of 3 wins! Stakes? Well, you know what I want...now, what do you want? Ok, ladies, pick your chins up off of the floor and close your mouths, it's not what you think! Or is it? Hmmmmm....Larry? Batter up! xoxo T*
~~~WHAT A MAN~~~WHAT A MAN~~~WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN~~~**THOSE EYES**THAT SMILE** are missed on my tv screen(and all LL fans)...You were also missed at this weekends SSW here in CA. Hopefully next years SSW you'll be here with the AMC cast!! How goes it getting back into your routine? Well I better get going.*cm* Have a great week :~).xo Lisa
Pssst... T* Dogs bark at midnight... pigs soon to fly. ;P LOL! Hope you all had a most wonderful weekend! Larry, sounds like you are catching up with all your friends & family... reconnecting is nice after a long absence. So what's up? Take care y'all. Slainte!
Hey Everybody; what's shaken? Back a whole week and I'm starting to feel like I'm really here, and it feels good. It's been great seeing all my friends and catching up, and also getting back into the things I like doing. Took awhile to get my sleep patterns back to normal; I was on Vienna time for a few days still. Hope all of you are doing well! HAMS! Larry.
Hey Nicky~ I have barked with those dogs at midnight, and I have seen the pigs fly- of course after spending time with "Dem Dawgs", I have seen a lot of things fly!! Larry~ glad to hear that things are getting back to normal for you. There really is no place like home! Take care! xoxo T*
Larry, It's good to hear that you're getting back to your old routine back home and seeing your friends. Since I've never traveled by airplane, I don't know what jet lag is really like. But, I was disoriented when I visited Victoria, B.C. back in the early 1970s. They are one Time Zone ahead of the West Coast of the U.S., on Vancounver Island, I think. ~~> I find the incident of the little boy that was found wondering by himself along a highway in California, heartbreaking! I hope they either find his parents, or find a good and loving home with Foster, or Adoptive parents.
Howdy everyone! [wave, wave]... OLTLFan --> having lived in Vancouver for most of my young life, I can certainly tell you that we are were the same time zone as California/Oregon/Washington State (Pacific Time Zone) --- however if you were travelling in the early 70s... that's an explanation in itself.. it *was* its own time zone!! LOL! Keep on Truckin'!
Egads I’m yappy today… Hi it's me again… just had to relay this story… LOL! I was in a pre-prod meeting early this afternoon with my department for an upcoming episode. One of the things I always bring with me for my desk on a given job, is my Magic 8 Ball… just something I have nearby as a joke (that, and a rubber chicken… but that’s NOT your business!). Anyways, the 1st AD came in and asked my boss if it was this major overhaul of this particular location doable in the space of time we had to avoid a unit move. It was a little tense in there, so I picked up the 8 Ball and told him “Reply Hazy… try again later.” He just stared at me… and I thought I was going to lose my job for a second (he’s not the most humorous guy). The room got **so** quiet it was deafening! He smiled at me and said we should have an answer to him by 2 PM and he left our office. Just now, meeting him in the hall he smiled again and thanked me for a good laugh. I was stunned! If *that* was laughing… I hate to see the man cry! -- Oh well... back to work!
Hey all! I miss you! Being grounded (for no reason) really sucks! If something life altering happens to anyone, someone call me! LOL..I hate being out of the loop. I'm only on now because my father is at work. Gotta remember to delete the history on this stupid computer or I'm caught! Larry..nice to hear you're back on normal time. I've only gone where there was an hour time difference, I can't imagine what you had to adjust to. Is it easier to adjust to a new time or readjust to your old time? Just curious. Nicky, you better be careful! We don't want you losing your job over a joke! lol...XOXO-Natasha
Larry hams and peas too you glad you are back into the swing of things . xxxx ooooo too you btw Nicky ~~~~~ to funny how you been you better take it easy silly girl hope to talk to you all soon. Missy
To Nicky: Is Victoria also in the same time zone as the West Coast of the U.S.? When I visited there, I remember changing my watch to Victoria time, and that's when I started feeling disoriented. I enjoyed staying for a week in Victoria. I'm an anglophile, so visiting there was the next best thing to actually being in Britain. London is the #1 city I'd like to visit outside of the U.S. My nephew and his wife went there for their honeymoon. Lucky them, eh?
Hey there Larry, Happy to hear that everything is back to normal for you. :~) Nothing worse than lingering jet lag. Something happened to me on my way to work today...and then...when I was having lunch...and later...when I was listening to the radio...I guess it was a lot like most days...I just kept thinking of you...Take care.xo Lisa
Nicky~ I don't have a magic 8 ball, but I did predict the future of a guy at work. I told him he would straighten up and fly right, or he would be standing in a long line- the unemployment line. He staightened right up! The power of "The Mouse"! Larry~ are you still on Vienna time? Wishing you were back on the ferris wheel and bumper cars? Our amusement park is open now, so it is time for bumper cars and goofy golf. And the new water park is now open near my house! Now I just have to stop working so much, so I can go and enjoy it! Have you done any golfing lately? And are you still flying with Bob? Take care, dude! xoxo T*
No man hath ever quivered previous -- before feeling the full force of the one and only Mighty Mouse! LOL! You get ‘em T*!! Glad to see you got out of that little mousetrap! The visual of little paws flaying about was too much for me. Hee hee! <br> OLTLFan --> Victoria is only about ½ hour ferry ride from Vancouver… no time change. The only thing I could think of is that possibly your Daylight Saving’s Time change may have been earlier than ours back then (or the other way around)… now day’s it’s synchronized. Or it was some cruel person who played a nasty joke on you. (I swear… it wasn’t me… really. Mind you we use to watch [okay… point & laugh] at the people arriving from Texas with their skis in the middle of July. Youth… wasted on the young.) <br> Natasha --> Little sis… **what** the heck did you do to make ‘Dad’ angry… again! <br> Missy --> Silly girl?!! You said that like you were shocked or something. You’ve been away far to long there lady! <br> Larry --> Best for last… Have you ever considered auditioning for the Stratford Festival? Just a possibility. Stratford’s staging of King Lear (with Christopher Plummer) will be opening in New York soon… it’s a great show! See ya!
Hey all.....sneaking online again! I'm not sure what I did, Nicky. But Hitler is a softie and said I could get back online by Friday instead of July. Little does he know! lol. Hope you all are well. XOXO-Natasha
