Hallo Everybody! Been really busy lately: The play is still going great. The new guy is working out really well. Been seeing a lot of sights lately; my Austrian road trip was fantastic! Saw the Shönbrun Palace yesterday, a little 1445 room summer cottage for the Hapsburgs. Today we are going to see the Vienna boys choir and then the Lippenzanner horse show, and then maybe later we may do the Opera! Hope all is well with everyone. Can't believe how fast time is flying by!

All my best, Larry.

Hi Larry, It's good to see a post from you after 10 days! I was worried about you. Good to hear that everything is going fine with the play and the new cast member. I'm glad your Road Trip was fantastic. I'm sure you and your cast mates really needed the break. I hope you enjoy the Vienna Boy's Choir and the Lippizanner Horses.

Morning everyone... Larry, sounds like your into the swing of things and now can enjoy the ride as it were. As I was getting ready for work this morning, the Berlin news show that we have broadcasted over here (I mentioned it before) its called "The Journal" (it's in English) just advertised that the Vienna Festival would be starting this weekend. Possibly something you could check out. I'm not sure if you get this program there... but they have a lot of news on Stateside issues that may keep you up to date. Thought I would pass that along. :)

What a wonderful journey in Austria. Enjoy all of the beautiful scenery and the culture. This morning started off with the earth moving for those of us who live in the Southern United States. We had a 4.9 earthquake at 5am. It was quite a jolt to wake up and have your bed and entire house shaking, especially if this is your first earthquake. Thankfully, it was not severe and there were no severe injuries.

Kathleen...I'm so glad to hear you are alright! What a scary thing to wake up to! I was once in an earthquake in California. It shook the house, and a few pictures fell off the walls...and I slept right through it! Glad you're safe!!!! love & peace, Jenn

To Kathleen, I'm glad everything is OK after experiencing your first earthquake. It's nothing new out here on the West Coast. I've experience some already. Very Frightening! I was surprised when I heard on the news about the South having one. I'm worried about the 'Big' one that's yet to come. Eeeek! ->>>I'd like to congratulate Gil Meche and the rest of the Mariners, in beating the Yankees 6-0 at Yankee Stadium. Way to go! Woo Hoo! 1 down, 2 more to go! :-D

Hey Larry~ What's happening in your corner of the world? Questions- does the run of "The Goat" end on the 17th? On the Theatre website it says no performances on May 6, 16, or 19th. Any special reason for no shows on those dates? Did you make it to the opera, and if so, what did you see? And, when you were at the Schönbrunn Palace, did you see the zoo? I read that it is the world's oldest zoo. Just a curious *Mouse*!! Still got the zippidy in your doo dah? Hope so! LOL! Take care, and have a glorious day! xoxo Tater

Kathleen: Wow...glad to hear you are ok...we had a small one in CT last year and that was freaky, I woke up and had to ask myself like 10 times, "what was that, that wasn't an earthquake?"! Larry, I was making some screen captures of your last day as "Sam" on OLTL last night. Sadness! I got some great ones, but it just made me realize how much I miss seeing you on that show. [not gonna go there anymore] It just is not the same...Glad to hear you are taking advantage and seeing all of that great history and beauty over there...I am sure it must be awe inspiring! Enjoy!..TTYS! Nancy @)=====

Holy smokes Kathleen... I guess "So, did the earth move for you" takes on a whole new different meaning now. Sheesh! Glad you're okay! On a different note, tonight as I was making my way home from a night of much laughter and 'bringing in the May'... my friend and I saw a man hit a woman on the street, grabbing her hair and slamming her against a light post. We called 911 on my friend's cell phone, then while she was talking to the police I jumped out of the car and told the guy to back off. He went after the girl a couple of times and screamed explitifs at me, but eventually he backed off when the police came. Now that I'm home with a cup of tea... still shaking a little... I wonder how crazy that was to get out of the car like that!! I just didn't 'think' about it... gut instinct I guess. The woman is alright, slightly bruised, but hopefully out of a bad situation. All I can say is... if you see something like that, don't hesitate to do something (just don't jump out of your car. Stay until the police arrive.)

Hello guys and gals! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything in here, things have been quite hectic lately with my upcoming move to the East Coast. To say the least, my life has been quite an adventure lately, but I'm definitely enjoying every minute of it too! My current home just went on the market yesterday, and already I have been getting calls....so I expect it to go pretty fast....keeping fingers crossed.

Here is the link to the Official Larry Lau Fan Calendar for May, which again Kelly has done another wonderful job on (Thanks Kelly!):

We all miss you Larry and hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Austria. I heard from a little birdie that you have a disposable camera in your possession, so you better put it to good use buddy....  ;-)  You take care, and I'll talk to you soon!

Have a TERRIFIC rest of the week everyone!

Hey Everybody! What an incredible week! Yes, we saw the Vienna Bo´s Choir perform a Mozart Mass at the Hofburg Cathedral, with a 20 piece orchestra; it was amazing. Then we saw the Lipizzaner Horse show; again, astounding. Then we made it to Prata, one of the oldest amusement parks in existence and we rode the same ferris wheel Orson Wells and Joseph Cotton shot there famous scene in THE THIRD MAN. Pretty cool; then, of course, I had to go on the Bumper Cars. Love Bumper Cars.

No, didn't see the zoo at the Schönbrunn; but, yesterday, took a carriage ride, horse drawn, thru old Vienna on a perfect day. Saw the houses of Mozart, Shubert, Haydn and another one Beethoven, and much more. I'm really loving this city.

The show is going great. The reason we're closed on those three nights is because the new guy, Howard, had commitments to the Opera he couldn't get out of. So, we have only 12 more performances to go; can't believe we're nearing the end already.

Kat, the last package from Nancy has been held up by customs because the word `camera was mention on the outside slip and they want taxes to be paid or something, the theatre is trying to resolve this. But, I broke down and bought my own disposables and I have lots of pictures already, mostly from my Austrian road trip. Anyway, I gotta go! My best to everyone, ox ox, Larry.

Hey Larry! 1. I think it's great that you love having fun with Bumper Cars! It really makes you a more endearing person. You know, I care about you because you seem like a quality person, not because you've been on Soap Operas and all that. I think you're worth caring (and worrying) about. 2. I have a tape of Waltz King Johann Strauss' music performed by The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, that has a photo on the front of a palace on a hill in Vienna above the Danube river, I think. Do you know what the name of the palace is by any chance? OLTL and Larry fan. :-)

Hello Everybody! Hope alls well with all of you! After tonight's show we'll have only nine more to go; still can't believe we're this close to the end. I've got friends coming in from the states this week, so I'll be showing them around, looking forward to that. After the show ends, I'm going down to Italy for at least a week: going to start off with Florence, then Rome , then wind up in Venice; I've think I've earned a little vacation. I want to thank you all for keeping me company while over here; it's always fun! At this point, I have to ask that no more packages be sent, cuz I just don't know how long it'll take some of them to get through the system; I just got your latest Nancy, thank you so much, as always! And yours too, T*, thanks! I really appreciate all your thoughtfulness. You all are THE BEST! TTYS, Larry.

Wow Larry!! You are going to LOVE Italy!! When in Venice try to check out San Marco square... the Basilic/Bell Tower & Doge's Palace are absolutely breathtaking! Oh... and the Correr Museum!! Such great memories!! Don't let the gondoliers charge you too much... they are use to haggling. ;) Wish I were there! LOL! Had such a great time many years ago!! Gee Larry... I am taking your post to heart... (especially with my luck in deliveries)... I have something I was going to save for your closing night... maybe I'll wait when I know you're heading homewards. LOL!! ;)

Thanks Everybody --> I'm really fine now. Heard an update from the police. Seemed this poor woman had this sort of thing happen to her on a DAILY basis (at least from the neighbors reported) for over two years now. She's not charging him... although luckily up here the police don't have to have her consent. So this means my friend Catherine and I will be testifying in court. The arresting officer called us to thank us for what we did... and are even nominating us for good Samaritan award... but we both were happy that this woman is out of the house and in a battered women's shelter. After all I was grateful to the people who saved me and my friend Siobhan in Ireland this winter. It's all a circle. Take care everyone.

Hi Larry, I haven't been feeling well lately, suffering from migraine headaches. You know, the kind that makes you nauseated. :-( Sounds like everything is going great for you, though! I hope you have a wonderful trip to Italy. You deserve some time off. My Dad visited Rome back in the early 1950s when he was in the Navy. He saw the Pope while he was there. He also visited Paris - a city you had the pleasure to visit. My Sister and her husband also visited Paris, when her Mother In-Law sent them there for their second Honeymoon. It was a side trip for them when they went for a visit to Germany with her Mother In-Law - who happens to be a native of that country. Lucky them! My Dad told me that when his ship was docked in New York City, he saw Joe Dimaggio play in Yankee Stadium. He also saw Ted Williams play at Fenway Park, when his ship visited Boston. How lucky he was seeing those two Baseball Legends play!

Thanks for all of your concern about the earthquake. This week it has been tornadoes and floods. Hi Everybody! I'd like to wish "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY", to all the Mothers who post here in the Guest Book! Hope you all have a wonderful time with your family! As for me, I don't know what it's like to be a Mother yet. I not sure if I'll ever get to experience Motherhood before I kick the bucket. Oh, well!

Happy Mothers Day to all! My son and I actually celebrated Mother's Day yesterday because both of us will be working all day long today in our restaurants. I got some beautiful flowers, had a wonderful meal at a restaurant(how refreshing to be waited on for a change!), and received a beautiful necklace with Justin's birthstone on it! It was a perfect day! I hope all of you have a perfect day, too! Tater PS.~ Larry, five more to go, dude! Rock on! xoxo T*

Hallo Everybody! Thank you all so much for all the great B´day wishes and cards, they're really terrific. You guys are THE BEST!! Yes, I've seen most of the places on the virtual Vienna tour, that was fun. Great photo's! And yes, my birthday was very special; not only was that night's show really good, but I had two friends there from New York and we went out afterwards and celebrated. It was great to have a little bit of `Home´ there. And now we're down to our last four performances and it's bittersweet, as I'm going to miss this whole experience coming to an end, and the on the other hand I'm looking forward to coming back home, after Italy, of course! It's been great sharing some of this trip with you all. And I'm really looking forward to what comes next. Stay well everybody and thanks again for being who you are, THE BEST! ox ox, Larry.

Hi Larry! It's great to hear from you after more than a week of not posting. I hope my Birthday Greeting for you wasn't too silly or embarrassing. That's great that you had some friends from New York there to help you celebrate your Birthday. You know, pretty soon you'll be going from saying Guten Tag. Wie geht es Ihnen? to Buon giorno. Come sta?

Since I do not know their team name ..can Kelly yell "Detroit Rocks...Detroit Rocks..Detroit Rocks"?...what color are you now...RED...the color of EXPLOSION? I am feeling sort of skyblue! Happy Blue!.........Nancy @)=====
