Hey Everybody! Hallo! Just wanted to say thanx for the recent comments, I appreciate them very much. I'm not sure where I'll be going next, right now I'm here in Vienna rehearsing my patutti off and having a blast. There is some serious talk floating around out there about having me return to All My Children, bringing Greg back to Pine Valley, which could be very exciting and a lot of fun, but I learned a long time ago that I'm not in the drivers seat and I am content to go where I'm meant to be, and right now that is right here in Vienna, in a fantastic play for the next 10 weeks.
Now, NANCY, I got a package of "stuff" today at the theatre and it was so great-- thank you so much. You really are incredible. Who would have thought
I'd get "stuff" all the way over here in Vienna! Wow!
Well, I gotta go. You all are the best, xoxoxoxo, Larry
Larry...patutti...LOL! Haven't heard that in a while! It is a very "lau-ful" word! That "stuff" got to you very quickly, the post office person made it sound like it would take forever and that the Austrian government would search it or something! Glad you liked it! You'll get some more "stuff" since that got there as planned! Keep having a BLAST...Greg..Oh I mean Larry! Did you like my letter to Ms. Walker? LOL! It is GREAT to hear you so pumped! BE COOL! Nancy @}====
Larry, I just read your posting and am very excited about the possibility of you returning to All My Children. Enjoy Vienna and hope to see you soon Greg, I mean Larry.
Serious talk about you returning to AMC as Greg!! OH YEAH!! Although, I agree with you, I learned a long time ago to WAIT & SEE! Would love to see you & Michael E. Knight together again. It's kind of ironic, first you work with Micheal, then Catherine, Now, a possibility with Michael again. Sounds kind of like a family thing with them tossing you back & forth. Take Care, Rox Ann xoxo
Hey Larry...Thanks for checking in! Glad to hear you are doing well. I hope you come back to AMC...I will miss you on ABC Daytime! When is opening night? Break a leg. Wow..you got "stuff" all the way over there? Neat. XOXO-Natasha
I really enjoy this guestbook. Such a nice group of people. Larry, I am glad you are working in live theater. I won't be able to catch you in Vienna, but I hope to see you in a theater production some day. Is Vienna as gorgeous? Good luck with the play. I am sure it will be wonderful.
Forgot, in this "STUFF" Nancy sent you all the way to Vienna. Did it happen to include some B&J?? You haven't mentioned if they have any over there. Does this mean we have to pitch in & send you a shipment?? Rox Ann xoxoxo
Roxann...it would have melted! LOL! Now folks...I am sort of full of information! Not really but I am going to give you some info: If you want to read about Larry's play and see a bio of The Lauman...no picture yet, Larry...do they need one? Ja? LOL!...here is the link: http://www.englishtheatre.at/plays.html Click on the play and bingo...info on the play and the actors! Larry...sounds like a great cast! Nancy
I wanted to let everyone know that at our regular chat on WED night (3/12) at 9 EST here at LLOFC...we are going to hold a "Sam Rappaport Memorial Service" chat! A lot of people have been mentioning to me that they want to make sure we have a chat...so I figure, we can go and chat about the great things that Sam "was"! I am not letting OLTL get to me...I am happy that Larry is in Austria having FUN! I will miss Sam...but we can celebrate the good things that were Sam! You know..."romantic even", the trial...."gotta go"..."Sam and Matthew"..."Sam and Nora" and we can rant a "little" too! LOL! So...be there or be square! Nancy @)===
Good Luck on any and all your future experiences. I fully enjoyed watching you on One Life to Live the last few years.
To Kelly: Thanks for inviting me to the Chat, but, I tried joining a Chat before and boy, you have to have fast fingers to get in a word. It just goes a little too fast for me. I also don't always know what to say, I guess because I'm known as a shy person. Shy people aren't great conversationalists, especially with people they're not used to. But, I might try to join just to see what you guys have to say about Herr Lau. Hehe. Oh, Oh. ;-) ***To Larry pooh (I hope you don't mind me calling you that): I think it would be groovy if you could come back to AMC again, in that way we all get to see you almost everyday. I do remember watching AMC at the time you were playing Greg. It's been a long time though since I've watched the show, and I didn't recognize you at first when I started watching OLTL as the same actor in the Greg and Jenny storyline.
A note to Nancy; thank you so much for my your gift, it is very special, ( and very handsome ); I will make good use of it while I'm here. Danke, ox, Larry.
Larry: you're welcome...it is very unique...just like you! Now I MUST comment on the show today! I actually watched most of the show...holy moly, a miracle! I watched it because you and Cat were on and really INCREDIBLE by the way! I have to say seeing Sam SMASH Todd against the wall for those comments about Sam's girls leaving him for Troy....was SO GREAT! You are a tough guy! I know...I sound like a violent chick...but Todd REALLY deserved it! And you performed the feat SO WELL! It was a LONG time in coming! I was cheering you on! OH and just one more thing...LOVED the green suede jacket! Take care! Nancy @)====
Hi I just wanted to say I will really miss seeing you on One Life to Live! You have real talent. I looked up to your character as a role model. I hope to see you on other TV. shows. My email address is starzrcool_18@yahoo.com. Thanks for reading this.
Boomergal, just jump in! No need to be shy or "skeered," it's just us. No typing skills are required...right ladies? LOL! A service for Sam? Nancy, you are incredible, and fabulous too! I think I will skip the black and wear my green "Feelin' lucky?" T-shirt. Lucky Larry is off on a new adventure. Let's celebrate! Oh and Nanc, that's a promise! Tell Charlie he's all mine! ;-) Peas and Love. Ja man! Kelly~
Larry and Ladies~ today we buried two precious angels that meant the world to me- Naomi,4 and Celeste,2. They died in a house fire last Friday. It is believed that they were playing with matches. Their deaths have affected the entire community - I see more parents hugging and kissing their children, and keeping them close. Please do the same with your loved ones. Life is such a precious gift, and it should not be taken for granted. Nicky~ I am sorry for not getting back to you right away. Between this and the other stuff going down here, I couldn't handle it and I just shut down. I am doing better, and I will be in touch soon. Please be safe, everyone. That includes you, too, Larry. I hope everything is going well for you in Austria. Love, T*
Nickster, the time diff is six hours from New York. And I thought it would be great to be away from B&J for awhile, but who was I kidding; this is Austria, the land of Chocolate pastries! I discovered, to my total mortification, this stuff called `Nutella`, a chocolate hazelnut pudding like thing and I now have to turn my head the other way if I see it. Oh, the challenges we face! Things still great here. Hey Kelly, sup? Hams to everyone, Larry.
Larry --> You mean you **don't** have Nutella in the USA?!!! Colour me tres shocked. Oh my... we have it here in the Great (~ugh~ still) White North. Great stuff! A little on a French roll mmmmmm... good. Highly addictive! I thought that your brother wrangled a hazelnut farm and his efforts went on to help facilitate such great products as Nutella... not too mention Frangelico too... but I digress. Wonderful stuff... just means you have to jog an extra mile a day (for both products come to think of it.) There is an upside to this though Larry... when you get back to the States you will really notice the difference between European chocolate and North America's... it might put you off... for awhile at least. However B&J will eventually win over. Take care.
T* --> I have been worried about you... and you take care! Like I said before Mouselette... well... you know. ;)
Hey Larry...I just saw a commercial for Nutella the other day. I thought it looked gross...it's really good?! Who knew. I'll have to try it some time. So yeah, I guess we have it in the states now. 6 hour time difference?? Eww. Bet you had some serious jet-lag. Hope you are doing well!! Everyone else...see you in chat! XOXO-Natasha
Oh ... BTW Larry... you don't have to really worry about Nutella... to help alleviate some guilt... it's made with skim milk. LOL! Enjoy!
Well..I do believe that "NUT"ella is the perfect subject for this guestbook. LOL! Kelly...you are da' bomb....Charl is all yours...I will prepare him...NOT! He might get "skeered"...(and I think he already is....LOL!) my favorite Kelly word! Peas and Love Ja Man! Ja! Kelly! Ja! Have a great day everyone! Remember to come and chat tonight! Nancy @)=====
Larry the show was great yesterday :) as I am sure it will be for the rest of time you are on but very hard for your ladies to watch:(. Glad you are doing great. Nancy I will be in chat tonight wouldn't miss it :) ttyl Missy
Hey Larry Baby, How are you? So glad to see your keeping in touch well away... It's going to be so sad to see OLTL Samless shows... When do you come back to NYC? By April 22nd? I'll probably be coming to the city by June, hope I can get to see you.. Miss ya bunches~ Angela Zilafro
Angela...April 22nd? You are ON IT! LOL! Nancy
I just watched today show at let me say it so hard to take screen caps while crying through the whole show saying please Lindsay don't it's Sammy LOL but , knowing she not listening to you . why doesn't Lindsay ever listen? oh it was a good show though but, I want my Sammy opps our Sammy alive... Missy

Missy
[With hand unstapled from forehead moves now to form a salute] Bye Sam... he's only got a ghost of a chance now. ~sigh~ When the rumors of Sam being shot in bed with Blair first was released... we all thought, wow!!... Sam at least gets 'some' before he leaves... no chance there either. Poor guy!! You played him very well Larry... I'm looking forward to seeing your spirit for the next month or so. Thanks for answering about the time difference too... so it is the same as Ireland (my context... sorry. LOL!) Have some Nutella on me... cheers. ~Nicky~
Dear Laurence, This is the 3rd time I have tried to post this message to you. Don't EVEN ASK what has been going on!! I will try again!! I certainly hope You get this LONG message I am sending you. I am so happy to learn about your play!!! It sounds so wonderful and lots of fun!! I sure wish I could see you in the play. I wish you the best of luck with it and I hope you enjoy Austria. I bet it is very beautiful there. What follows is my goodbye gift to you for leaving OLTL. It is a poem that I wrote and a letter. I hope you enjoy your gift!!
Here is your poem:
Someone else had paved the road
for the future of Sam
Yet you stepped right up
and took the reins in your hand.
You kept the character sweet and caring
and added even more
Many years to call Llanview home
Seemed like they were yours.
The world of daytime is one of change
Sometimes the axe does fall
In one split second
You could lose it all.
Now is the time to say goodbye
It's sure to be our toughest test
Many loyal fans want to wish you the best.
As you move on to your next job wherever that may be
My heart knows for certain
You are still Sam to me.
Here is your letter:
I'm writing this letter to you today to say goodbye. I am truly devasted that you have left
OLTL, and even more so That Sam had to be killed off. It is terrible because Sam is so Connected to many characters on the show, and he should have a future in
Llanview. I do understand, though, your comments in the magazines about Sam always being the odd man out, and getting
written into a corner. Sam Rappaport was always a kind, sweet, compassionate character, and it's a really bad shame the powers-that-be can't think of a way to use that, or a place to take the character. I do want to thank
you, Larry, for playing the role of Sam Rappaport, and for all the beautiful memories you have given me during your time on
OLTL. You are a very handsome and talented actor. I will miss both you and Sam
so very much. I promise to always follow your career no matter where it takes
you, and I am very proud to be your fan. I wish you much happiness, success, and
love in the future. I love you very much. Your fan always, Carla Blythe
Larry, please let me know somehow that you got this.
Hey Laurence Lau how are you I hope good well this is my first time writing to any actor. Anyways I will truly miss you but I hope you can stay on OLTL your a good actor you bring OLTL alive you make so real so interesting I've never seen anyone act so calm you act like your not on camera you act as if Sam Rapport is real. well I guess You take care now okay were ever you are going God Bless you Sincerely. Virginia Cano
Hey Laurence How are as for me okay well just wrote to tell you that were ever you go you take care okay. I will truly miss you so God Bless you okay and keep up the good work you do
***To Tatermouse: I'm sorry to hear that you lost your little "Angels." It's always tragic to hear about children dying. :-( ***To Kelly: I didn't join the Chat, because my favorite team was playing on TV at the time. I didn't want to miss them play. I'm cuckoo for them! :-) ***To Larry the pooh: Hey, watch your eating Buster Brown! We don't want to see you gain too much weight. ***To the new posters: Welcome, fellow new comers! :-D
Hi Larry~ I've been having some major problems posting here all week with my computer. It's 2 a.m. here, I woke up after dreaming about yesterdays episode of OLTL and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I'd try posting again. It was really hard watching yesterdays show and I know it's only going to be harder to watch in the coming days. We may have lost 'Sam' but we'll always have Larry.XOXOLisa
Hey Larry~It's me again, FINALLY it's working my computer that is. Thank goodness or I would be totally lost without this website...Kat~ Can you please delete the carbon copy of my previous post. I believe it posted 3 times for some crazy reason. Thanks Kat...I think I'll try going back to sleep now.TTYS Lisa
Yoh Larry, how you doin'? Things are great here too. Making plans for a couple of road trips. It seems a young man in CT needs an attitude adjustment. LOL! Don't scare him too much Nanc, that's my job. Larry, my advice on the Nutella'. Start slow and taper off.;-) Larry, you are looking just fine IMO. T*, I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. Boomergal, hope you can join us next time. BTW, who is your team? Kelly~
Howdy one and all... In my humble opinion... I think you look just fine Larry. ;) Just thought I would add that.
Hey Everybody! It snowed here today in Vienna! A very light snow, really nice. So, Sam made his exit. Well, once again, it was a pleasure to play him, to do the best I could with him, and there were a lot of moments that were great. I'll always be grateful that I had that opportunity. Thank you all for enjoying it with me. Carla, that was a lovely poem, and letter, thank you very much. To the rest of you, Hams , Hams, and more Hams. Larry.
Ps, Can we please stop talking about Nutella already! (LOL).
Hey Larry... good to hear from you. You know by the time you get home you will have cases of the brown, sweet, nutty thing we aren't suppose to mention. Maybe you should try your luck and say you really like Porches. LOL! Who knows?!! Anything could happen... but that's NOT my business. ;) To everyone else --> as of Friday I will not be able to log on until Monday after my new internet is hooked up. You all have an absolutely wonderful weekend... be good... and if you can't do that... at least be safe. Cheers.
Larry it rained here today and supposed to get up in the 60's by this weekend glad the rain will be gone and can't wait for the 60's weather some sad stuff to watch and poor poor Lindsay freaking out when she saw Troy and Than Blair I just lost it great job to all of the cast just so sorry your just a ghost now :( we will miss you Missy xxxxoooo
Hi Larry, Its great to hear from you! Wow you got snow in Vienna!! Must have been cool huh? Thanks so much for checking in. All I can say is that I'm so happy you are keeping in touch with us and appreciate it so much:-) Hoffnung haben Sie eine große Zeit, die Ziege und das beste des Glücks Sie immer anzutun. Liebe ya, ~*Angie~*
Hey Larry~ Yes, Sam did make his exit and although he will be sorely missed he may have "left" just in time... Blair has been reduced to drinking and seducing Troy yet again; Lindsay has been reduced to sicko pining for the guy that messed with her head and her heart, and Nora is about to discover that Sam had a secret (spoiler...don't even get me started on that pathetic rewrite of history!) But of course you knew all of this..lol!! Of course if that doesn't grab you there is always Flash! And I care about Flash because....???? Okay, so I may sound a bit frustrated with my soap but it is unrecognizable these days. Hope you continue to enjoy Austria. Thanks so much for keeping us posted. You have many fans Larry and where you are doesn't change that. Donna:)
hi Sam Rappaport am big fan of your am going to miss you jen to will miss you what will you do now ? you are good looking I love u so much I love Lindsay to both your kiddos jen & matt Rappaport much love terrie cassysuper@aol.com
Cudos Larry, you did a great job of playing dead on OLTL. I don't know how you kept a straight face with everyone reaching under your back. I will miss you on the show, but I am really looking forward to seeing you do other things. How many more weeks of rehearsal before your play goes live? Do you have any tricks to keep it interesting? I work with fourth and fifth grade drama students. They get so bored after practicing for even a few weeks. Our last play is next Wednesday. My stress level is easing already!
Hey there! We had a Sam memorial chat last night and we came up with some great favorite scenes. I said I would post them all...but part of the chat was deleted...so here is what is from my memory: "S,N, Matthew on the couch reading the book", "S,N, Matthew when M ran into the bedroom", "Romantic even", "gotta go", "Toddy", "Sending Troy out the window (head first)", "Sam, Blair and the kids - movies and popcorn", "Nora comforting Sam after Ben is hurt", "Smashing Todd against the wall", "Sam and Lindsay kiss", "Sam in any jail cell scene", "Sam, Nora, Matthew Jail", "Sam, Nora in courtroom", "Llantano mountain", "Sam, Nora hospital with Matthew", "Sam, N, M at the airport before Nora and M leave", "Sam and Matthew..anytime", "Sam and Starr - his date for the woman of the year dinner", "his momentary "maybe I won't help him" when he sees Trolin on the wheel", "Sam putting Roxie over his shoulder and carrying her out of Blair's office", ....and TONS more! I can't remember them all...Anyone want to help me out here and/or add to the list? ....great memories of Sam...and Larry...you ROCKED yesterday (I have not seen today's yet....it might take me a few days to recover)...your last "alive" scene and you were so sweet with Blair...that is OUR Sam! ...Nancy@)=== Help me out fellow chatters...my brain is back at work someplace~
Okay... so I actually **did** mean the car... as in Porsche... not porches where you hang out on a rocking chair with a dog named Duke. But I *seriously* digress here. I had also forgot to say earlier about you mentioning some 'serious talk' having Greg return to AMC... wonderful to hear. Ahhh... the possibilities abound. However, which way you want to go... it's all up to you... and we'll support you where ever you want to take it. (NOW I'll shut up. Note to self:.. don't forget to pack brain and label it *really* well!!)
Okay Nancy... this may mean the blind leading the blind... since we are both without our brains. We were on same 'wave length'... too scary for words. Other great scenes we mentioned last night in chat were "Sam & Nora getting caught by Matthew at Christmas time & the bike", "might-have-been-girl" speech; Sam's fight with two kidnappers in Hawaii; "She's a mental patient" discussion with Ben... okay... so I'm surprising myself that I can remember this all now... when I can't remember where I put my hairbrush. Sad, very sad. ~meep~
Hi everybody, It also was hard for me to watch Sam being killed by Lindsay. :-( I kept on putting the tape on slow motion - I'm not sure why. I guess I wanted to see how things looked slowed down. I don't understand why the writers always feel they have to kill off a character. They could've just sent Sam to another city to get over Blair. But instead, they feel he has to die. They deserve a RAZZBERRY! ***To Kelly: I don't want to say who my favorite team is. Larry might put them down like he did Tatermouse's Green Bay Packers. I don't want to feel bad towards him for any reason. I don't take put-downs of my teams very good.
I am so bummed that Sam was written out of OLTL. I'm devastated. I'll miss you Larry, but I'm sure you'll turn up somewhere else where you're appreciated more. Just let us know where and I'll be there.
Larry, Today was a very sad day for all of your long time fans. We will miss you very much on OLTL. Good Luck to you in whatever exciting project comes up next! We will be watching you wherever you end up!
Nicky, Kelly and Boomergal55~ Thank you for your kind words. It really meant a lot to me. Now, Boomergal55, I do need to correct something. Larry never put down my Packers. Larry and I made a bet on a football game between my Packers and his Jets. We both did some trash-talking...but it really was all in fun. It was not meant to be taken seriously. I really had a blast with that, and I think the "Jethead" did too! LOL! Larry is not a *put down* kind of guy- the dude is way too cool for that! He is cooler than Batman! LOL! Welcome to the family, all new posters. We are glad you are here! Take care, Everyone. T*
I want to wish you all the best and will look forward to seeing your next acting spot. I loved you in All My Children and still love you as Sam, you are a remarkable actor and will surely miss you on One Life To Live. Sure was hoping your character and Blair would make the real couple scene. God Bless and Keep You, Dorinda
Larry~ I heard an hilarious *Austria* story on the radio today. It seems that a guy in Austria- definitely NOT you- is trying to get out of his prison sentence by claiming he is too fat to go to prison! This man wrote 8 million-yes, million- dollars in worthless checks! Now he says he is too fat, and not in good health, so he shouldn't go to prison. He weighs over 300 pounds. My question is: What did this man spend 8 million dollars on...Ding Dongs???? LOL! Man, some people's children! Too funny! xoxo T*
Hey Tatermouse, I'm sorry I said that about Larry. He does seem like a true nice guy, or else he wouldn't have said he was sorry that I felt left out here in the Guest Book. He also seems to have a great and goofy sense of humor too. I saw the photo of him and Michael E. Knight where he was making a silly face. What a guy! He's not only handsome and hunky, but he also can be goofy. I like that! :-D ***To Larry and fellow Beatles fans: Ringo is a guest on the Tonight Show tonight. :-D
Hhuuuuummmmmmmm.........Porsches, huh?.....hmmmmm.............I'm thinking, I'm thinking......Hey Tater, thanx for the story about the guy claiming at 300 pounds its too risky to be in prison; I wonder if he was 300 before or after he got sent up? What will they think up next? Hams everybody, LL.
Hello Laurence this is my first time to your website. its very nice. I've been a fan of you since your days on All My Children. I have even seen you on Jag and Diagnoses Murder. I think the writers have made a bad choice to kill Sam off. I hope you will be on a new soap soon. Your so handsome and seem very nice. Someone like you should have a nice girl in your life. Do you have a girlfriend. bye bye
Hey Larry~ WOW! Way to play the dead guy. Your chest didn't rise and fall and your eyes didn't blink. Believe me, I checked...LOL!! In my line of work I consider myself an expert on "dead bodies" since I get to see too many of them. It's just too bad that it took a couple of bullets for all of Llanview to realize what a great guy Sam was. Ugh! Today was heart wrenching as I'm sure Sam's funeral will be. Once we get thru the ghost scenes I'm not sure what, if anything, is left to hook me:(. I can hardly wait until you bring your next character to life for all of us to see...unless of course someone is working on group rates to Vienna's English Theater! LOL!! In which case I trust you will join us all afterwards for a LL-ladies fan club party! Take care. Donna:)
Wow, it has been a tough week for Sam fans but knowing you are busy and happy with another job makes it easier. I'll be keeping the Kleenex handy for the next week as well. I am also anxiously awaiting to see the next character that you bring to life. Hope you will be back on our televisions by late Summer or Fall.
wow after watching today it good to come over and see your nice smiling face on the guest book. today's show though wooo blew me away I do not know how you do not move blink ect. woo I was in tears the whole time. well need to buy more Kleenex for next week. xxxx oooo Missy
Hello to all!!! Busy week, but not too busy to watch my soaps. You play a pretty good dead guy Larry. The best looking one I've ever seen, not a hair out of place! You will be missed on the soap, but better things are around the corner, I have always believed things happen for a reason, and no matter how difficult the change is, the ultimate outcome is always better. If you ever need a Nutella connection, I just happen to know the man who got it distributed to the U.S. and have been getting a shipment for the last 3 years about every six months!! I found this glorious delight while in Germany 20+ years ago, and still indulge daily, I can only imagine how good it would be smeared on a hot NY bagel. Nicky, I don't envy you moving, if I were closer I would help. Hi to Nancy and Jenn, and the rest of you too, welcome to the new posters, I hope to meet you in chat soon, I am working this next Wed again, but soon in the next weeks I hope. Jenn, will be in contact soon, we are coming April 2, so want to hook up while there. We have a few days planned on campus, so maybe then, will write. Larry, have a great weekend, and have fun. My daughter said there is some kind of Salt Mine around there, you need to go to in your spare time, she went 2 years ago, and I think it was the highlight of her time in Austria. Til later all, "gotta go"! XXXOOO Denyni
Hello Larry, Though I will Miss you as Sam on OLTL all I can do is pray that you will rejoin All MY Children as Greg!! Please so I can still watch you everyday!! Thanks for reading my note.
Hey Larry...Great performance today! You didn't move. I don't know how you stood still with those people touching you! I'm so ticklish, I almost scream when someone hugs me! I don't want to watch next week! Can't wait until you say 'boo' to Lindsay! That scene will be fun to watch, not because of what is happening, but because you and Catherine are in the same scene! Love her! Anytime my favorites are in the same scene it's cause for a happy dance. Have a great weekend in Vienna!!! XOXO-Natasha
Hi Larry and everyone! I'm new to the guestbook. It looks like there are great bunch of people here. I've really enjoyed your portrayal of Sam on OLTL and am sorry to hear you won't be on the show any longer. I've watched OLTL and AMC since I was a little girl (thanks to my mom, LOL!). I hope you have a fun time in Vienna! Looking forward to getting to know everyone here. :-)
I hope it is true that you will come back to AMC. I would love to see you work again with Michael Knight. Greg and Tad were close and it would be nice to see Greg Nelson in Pine Valley again. Take care, Love, Angela
Dear Larry, I'm so sorry that you have left OLTL but you haven't been used like you should have been. I got to meet you in 2001 at SSW6 and it was a thrill to have met you since I have been a fan of yours since AMC and I wish you continued success.
Welcome everyone! It is great to hear all the support for Larry since "Sam's untimely death". If you haven't signed this petition, take a look at it and sign it and pass it along...we have over 700 signatures...we need as many as we can get! Thanks and keep coming back, this place can be, and usually is....lots of fun! The URL: http://www.petitiononline.com/larrylau/ Thanks everyone!............Nancy@}====
Larry: Thanks for making me cry! You bully! LOL! Very emotional show today! But it was great to see the other characters grief at learning of Sam's demise. And we will be getting a big funeral..which Sam deserves! ==> And yes you play a VERY GOOD dead guy! [[Except my 11 year old said..."I don't want to say anything bad about your show, but I think I saw that guy's chest move"! LOL! It was really cute!]] I think we may have a long road here with Sam's death...but I think that is great because we get to see you...even if it is "opaquely"...(is that a word?) ==> Have a great weekend! TTYSoon! Nancy@}=====
Larry~BOO!! Well, Sam went the way all good cowboys do- he died with his boots on! Sam will be the sexiest angel in heaven! St. Peter- open up the pearly gates, and let the good times roll! Larry, I do envy you for the snow you just got...but only a little. I got to wear shorts today! We have been having temps in the 60's here. I even went rollerblading today! Early spring-gotta luv it! About the guy in Austria- you do the crime, you do the time! Geez! Luv, T*
To Larry and his fellow Beatles Fans here in the 'Book': Ringo sang a new song on the Tonight Show that was a tribute to the late, (and great), George Harrison. I thought it was a beautiful and moving song. Sometimes I cry when I think about George being dead. It's still hard for me to believe that he's gone. You know, Paul wasn't the only 'cute' Beatle. I also thought that George was also very cute. He had what I call 'Darling Looks.' I also think of Larry as a guy with 'Darling Looks.' He sure looks good for a guy who is almost 50. I guess he was born with 'Young Genes.'
Hi Larry, I have to say you did excellent with your scenes when Blair found you dead. What a week though, ugh! I don't like having Sam dead at all and Lindsay doing the crime is too much for me but I have to say that I'm so HAPPY you are in Vienna right now doing your rehearsals for The Goat. You are a star Larry and so wonderful to ALL of us here at the guestbook, Thank you Larry! Your the BEST! Be well and take care. Love ya, ~*Angie~*
Larry you are the most awesome actor ever! Can't wait to see you back on AMC. *Love, Angela*
Hey Larry, how are you doing? I'm doing good I guess. I was angry of how they had Sam leave the show. I didn't like seeing Sam get killed and everything. It's hard not seeing you alive and talking, but I can't wait to see Ghost Sam haunt Lindsay. I can't believe they had Lindsay kill Sam. I wonder how long it's going to take until everyone finds out it was Lindsay who killed him and how everyone is going to react. I can imagine how some are going to react. It's going to be hard watching Sam's funeral next week. You did a great job playing dead. How long did you have to lay like that for the scenes? I'm glad you're having a good time in Vienna. The weather here in Washington is ok. We had a lot of snow in Lynnwood and other places but not at my house. We've been having a lot of rain and very little sun. I'm glad you had fun playing Sam and I hope we get to see you do other things soon after you get back from Vienna. I have a lot of favorite Sam scenes, but I'm not going to list them otherwise this will be a long post. Hams, Valerie
Hi Larry! I was really pleasantly surprised when you were cast as Sam on OLTL -- I was also very, very heartbroken when "Sam" was killed. However, is there any chance you can go back to AMC? Lisa needs a friend right now. It would be great to see the gang back together.
Larry~ that is quite an accomplished cast you are working with in Austria. What a talented group of people, and fellow New Yorkers, too! What a coincidence- Jurian Hughes was also on AMC & OLTL! What roles did she play on those shows? She looks familiar, but I can't place her. Do you still have snow there? We have no snow here.. it was 67 degrees in LaCrosse today! I hopped in the car, rolled the windows down, cranked up the tunes, and went cruisin'. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care. LUV, T*
Hey T*, I was cruisin' today too.:-) Had to put in a new system, (The factory tunes were not adequately kickin'.) Scored box seats to the SU Lacrosse game at the dome today. Very cool! SU took Hopkins to the cleaners! We are the champs, after all. Very exciting! Finally...it's time for shootin' hoops in the driveway and letting my Mojo off her leash. I just love spring, everyone is so twitterpated. LOL! CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY OUTSIDE! Keep on truckin', Kelly~
Dear Mr. Lau; I was so sorry to see your departure from OLTL. I loved the character of Sam Rappaport. You are a terrific actor and I'm certain that I will be seeing you on another show, playing a different character very soon. I'm sure that the powers that be will not allow a talent like yours go to waste! The best of luck in your future endeavors! God Bless, Anita C. Trollinger acolletta3155@msn.com Atlanta, Georgia
Hi Everybody; Thanx for all your great comments. Yes, it's not easy keeping your chest from moving when you're playing dead, especially if it goes on for awhile. The hardest moment I remember is when I got a little itch in my throat and I wanted to swallow so badly, but I knew we'd have to do the scene over if I did and I think it was Nora who was hovering over me saying a final tearful goodbye and I didn't want to ruin it for her; I almost didn't make it as I prayed for the scene to end.
Listen, I just want say, I really do appreciate every post in here, they're all so great; and please know, I want to answer them all, but usually by the time I get to the bottom, I can't remember the exact question or who asked it , ( no blonde jokes, please ), so if I answer some and not others, I guess what I'm saying is don't take it personally. Thanks.
So, all is still going great here; we've finished a week and a half of rehearsals and two more to go before opening night. This is a very serious play with some great moments of humor; we've definitely still got our work cut out for us, but it's going to be so worth it. I'm so grateful to have this challenge. I'm glad Spring is in the air; love the idea of rolling down the windows and taking a long country drive, music blaring. They say that Spring here in Vienna is beautiful, looking forward to it.
Well everybody, take care, be well, and as Kelly says, KEEP ON TRUCKING! Larry.
Larry, Right back at ya, Lau-man! Take care - enjoy the opportunity of your new endeavor (I prefer Nicky's spelling to the US version, LOL!). We know you'll do great - and you've got a ton of North American fans behind you all the way, my friend! Mary
Hey Larry!!! Good job, not making Hillary have to redo the scene. I would have had to cough or swallow, I don't have the will power you have, LOL. Are you taking pictures of Vienna? I'll bet the spring is really beautiful. Is there a website about the play? Because I have never even heard of The Goat? And I also want to know who else you're working with. Have a blast and show 'em your stuff! XOXO-Natasha
So Larry, we still have to look forward to Nora hovering over a dead Sam? Well I guess we are in for some more dead body scenes then. So far so good but I must confess, when I watch, it is in real time so if I blink and you breath, well I miss it!LOL!!Maybe I missed something already cuz I thought they already removed Sam's body. Don't tell me we get an open coffin! It's going to really irritate me if dead Sam gets more airtime than live Sam did...LOL!! You realize now we will all be examining your throat during Nora's scene right? :)Since you were leaving anyway I think you should have waved to us or something when Blair put your hand on top of your chest. Well maybe not something so obvious but a LL-ladies sign or something. Maybe you can work that into your next gig:)I bet Spring IS gorgeous in Vienna. Enjoy every moment! Donna:)
Hey Larry~ what do you call 15 blondes in a circle? A dope ring! LOL! It doesn't matter what color your roots are, we still luv you anyway! Being a blonde myself, I can say that! Springtime in Vienna- sounds like an international coffee to me! Glad to hear that rehearsals are going well. It's easier to play a living guy than a dead one, right? Kelly~ fellow cruiser~ what a rush, huh? I took along the Beatles, Lynard skynard, and the Doobie Brothers. Good thing I have a big car! Seriously, there are some cows out in the country who may not be giving milk for a couple of days! I had a blast! Put the peddle to the meddle!!! Luv, T*
Hi Larry and everyone, Larry I am glad you are enjoying Vienna. What is the rest of the cast like? Glad I got to meet you at the One Life To Live Studio a few times I like the cast and crew at the studio. I will be going to the One Life To Live studio in May. Larry Can I have a copy of the Playbill? What does? Hams mean I figured out the B&J's. Laura C.
OK...I should be clearer: go to http://www.englishtheatre.at/plays.html and then there are links at the top of the page. Once of them is "Cast"...there you will find a bio about everyone in the play, the director, synopsis of the play...etc!......Nancy @)=====
Well yes, it seems dead Sam will get more airtime than when you were alive that means more crying time for your ladies. I am so glad spring too. I can't believe you did not cough or something while Hillary was doing her big scene I have to watch closely. Also My hometown basketball team is in the championship and is on a winning streak go big blue woohooo! way too go WildCats! http://wildcatfaithful.com for any fans out there. great to hear from you Larry! Missy
OK..blame it on the beautiful weather and the fact that I have some freedom..and am going OUT ALONE! But here is the CORRECT URL: http://www.englishtheatre.at/plays.html SORRY FOLKS! Nancy @)====
Hey Larry...Thanks to Nancy (thank you Nancy!) I know more about your play and the role you are playing. Sounds like a lot of fun! And the cast is amazing! I actually saw Jurian Hughes in The Graduate. I didn't know it was her until now, how crazy is that? LOL..but she's great and I know you're going to have a blast doing the play. Let us know how it's going. XOXO-Natasha
I have Wednesday's through Friday's episodes on tape and I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I finally I have a few hours free tonight so I can sit down and watch. I just hope I don't start crying! I'm also looking forward to Lindsay being haunted by Sam's ghost. Should be quite interesting! And on an off note, I'm so glad it's finally spring! We've been in this deep freeze here in Michigan for what seems like an eternity. It was 60 and gorgeous out today! Which is kind of weird at the same time because just last Thursday I was scraping an inch of ice and three inches of snow off my car. Go figure. Have a nice evening everyone!
Nancy thank you for posting the info about the Play. sounds like a fun Play and a talented cast. Larry Are the Hills Alive with the sound of music? Tatermouse you and Larry should make a bet about baseball now that baseball season is starting. Laura C.
Hi Larry and fellow posters! It's good to hear that things are going fine with your rehearsals so far Larry, and that you're looking forward to Springtime in Vienna. We have something in common - being born in the Spring. (I guess you can say that we sprung forward when we were born. Hehe.) Oh, that's right. The time change is coming up again. Isn't it? I was born on April 30 - a birthday I share with my favorite Country Music Singer Willie Nelson! :-D We are exactly 22 years apart. (Well, golly cheese willickers, ain't that special.) I know that you also enjoy Country Music. Who are your favorite singers? I also like George Strait (my Country Heartthrob), Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, and some others. I also like Bluegrass a lot. Loretta Lynn spent some years in the Northwest up near Bellingham, Wa., when her husband Moonie found work in a lumber mill during their first years of marriage. I think she recorded her first song up there too. Since you're a native of the N.W. and a Country fan, I thought you'd find that an interesting fact. Loretta Lynn cracked me up when she pronounced Idaho - Idyho. Hehe. LOL. Take Care and always watch out for any trouble, ok? I'm really worried about your safety.
Hi Laura, how's it going? Another bet with my favorite dude? Absolutely.. I am game! But since Larry won the last one, he gets to call the shots on the next one. I will probably lose this one too, and wind up doing his laundry for a year, or some other household chore that he hates to do! LOL! I had better not give him anymore ideas! Batter up, Larry! Boomergal55, I've met Willie Nelson (got a nice picture of the two of us) and he is one cool dude! I am going to see him again in July at a music festival. And Charlie Daniels-he rocks! I love country music, and have met a lot of the artists. Very down to earth people! Take care, everyone! LUV, T*
To Tatermouse, You're lucky that you were able to meet Willie Nelson! I haven't had a chance to see him perform in person yet. I've been hearing too that Country Music artists get along better with each other than the artists in the Rock world do. They're not as competitive with each other like they are in Rock, and I guess the other music genres. BTW, did you get to meet Larry in person yet?
Boomergal55~ no I haven't met Larry...yet...maybe someday...unless he is a fraid of a little mouse! LOL! I don't bite, Larry!! Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all! I hope your Irish eyes are smiling- mine are! O'Nickster~enjoy your day! Luv, T*
Padraig Shona Duit... which means of course, Happy St. Patrick's Day. Thank the gods that I have internet access at work!! I was feeling a bit cut off during the weekend, and once I was able to surface from the mounds of cardboard boxes... I really wanted to check in. Had a gorgeous day for moving... 12*C (which roughly translates at 60*F). The birds were singing, the snow was melting... and due to the melting of the snow and a misplaced step... I manage to create for myself an instant water bed. It's okay... managed to dry itself out prior to sleep. Still the day was gorgeous! Larry --> Can't wait to see these scenes everyone is talking about. I have some serious catching up to do. I can understand about the tickle in the throat too. I once played a human 'prop' in a Neil Simon's play "Four Seasons". I played a hooker who was zonked out from too much to drink and the guy's wife was on his way up to the suite. Poor guy had to try and hide me in any spot he could find. At one point I would have to sit up and stare straight ahead... not blinking for 10-15 minutes is really hard. LOL! Seemed like an eternity. Can't beat live theatre!! Spending Spring in Vienna sounds incredible! Turn up the tunes and ride!
Hi Larry~After a weekend of all rain its so beautiful here today. I had family in for the weekend for a couple b'days.Had a great time. Glad to hear rehearsals are going good. I'm sure you're anxious to finally get in front of a live audience. Can't wait to hear the reviews(which I know will be amazing). Looking forward to the upcoming 'Ghost Of Sam' scenes. Take care.XOXO Lisa
Larry~ Forgot to ask you about the goat in the play. Are you working with a real goat or just someone dressed as a goat? Lisa
Hello! Picture this...me...late for work...no one to pick up my son...Monday morning...semi-frantic...got here, ran right into a meeting where the speaker for the day decided that she was going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by talking in an Irish brogue. I rolled my eyes, as I always do, bad me, and everyone just looked at each other and sort of went "huh"? Then she proceeded to tell us that if we had a question or wanted to add to the conversation we too had to speak with an Irish brogue or at least attempt it. [yeah she is pushy too] At this point, I said..."are you for real"...and yes..I laughed (but that's ok...I know the chick) and yes folks she was serious...she spoke for 3 HOURS, yes 3 HOURS, in computer terminology with a not very good Irish brogue. She, of course, could not make us talk like that...(although I had some English words I could have chosen that would have fit perfectly) but she did not stop...My head is still spinning! I wish I drank, because I could use a green beer or 6! Happy Green Day!....Nancy @}====
Hi, Larry! (and fellow posters! :D) Glad to hear everything is going well in Vienna. I missed most of last weeks OLTL because I was working but caught most of it on SoapNet over the weekend (while I was on vacation no less..LOL) I'm still upset but man, Larry, you do play a great dead guy..LOL Did you or anyone else pull any major pranks while shooting those scenes? Anyway, take care and lots of love, Sarah :D
he will miss he was a good man person June
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hope the luck of the Irish was with everyone at some point today. It was cold, wet, damp and rainy here today but Spring is just around the corner so that is something to cheer about.
Nancy, I loved your story about the woman speaking in a bad Irish Brogue. Too funny and a bit bizarre. I could use some of that green beer too!I just got through with a dress rehearsal with my fourth and fifth graders. Yikes, my Cinderella checked her spunk at the door along with most of her lines today. I'll be letting out the biggest sigh of relief in a couple of days! Happy St. Patty's Day everyone. Hey Larry I suppose you just have to settle for weiner schnitzel instead of corned beef and cabbage!
To Larry and fellow posters: Depending on which Time Zone you live in - Top 'O Mornin', Top 'O the Afternoon or Top 'O the Evening! Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all! 0):-D I found out from one of my cousins that our Grandfather has an Irish Ancestor! I guess that means that I'm part Irish. That is great news to me, because I've always been fascinated with Ireland. I love traditional Irish Folk Music, especially when it's performed by my favorite Irish group the Chieftains! 0):-D
From ABC Soaps In Depth Speak Out: With his OLTL exit imminent, dedicated Laurence Lau fans are petitioning for his return to his AMC role of Liza's ex, Greg Nelson. More publicity for the campaign, keep up the good work everyone.
I walked into school yesterday, forgetting it was St. Patrick's Day...I told my cousin that I would slap anyone who pinched me. He pinched me, I slapped him. Then my second period teacher pinched me, I couldn't slap her! I hate St. Patty's Day! I just saw a picture of Sam's ghost. Oh man! Larry, I don't know how you could pull that off! I would have died. And you still look cute! How do you do it? LOL. Not looking forward to those scenes, but I know you'll do great! How's The Goat coming?? XOXO-Natasha
Well... something always needs to somehow become discomboobilated when you move... sigh... this time it was my VCR. Ugh. Well, not the entire VCR... somehow the remote control... the controls to set the timer do not work anymore and you can't do it manually. I'm asking the kindness of 'virtual' strangers if they wouldn't mind sending me a copy of this week's shows until my new remote shows up. T*??!! You're no stranger only virtually strange, but that's why I like you. Heh heh. That would be great. Larry --> Hope you're doing well and that the show is shaping up. Is all your blocking done (fine tuning now) or are you still working on it?
Hi everyone, Oooops! I feel embarrassed that I left 'the' out of Top 'O the Mornin'. I guess I'm not the only one making mistakes - even Larry makes some in his posts. Hehe. Just kidding! ;-) Another thing I feel embarrassed about: Mispronouncing Larry's last name. I've been pronouncing it with an emphasis on the u. I found out from reading an old Soap Opera Digest article over at About.com, that it's pronounced 'Law'. Ooooops! Sorry Larry!
Hello Larry, Congratulations on your Theatrical project!! Joanne
Hey Larry where are you? You haven't posted in a couple days. We all miss you here;)! I'm sure you're working hard and maybe getting a chance to see some of the beautiful sites of Vienna. Take care and be safe.XOXO Lisa
Hello Larry, I just wanted to say That OLTL fans will surely miss you. You did a awesome job portraying Sam Rappaport. Sam was such a beloved Character. and You will be deeply missed from the cast. I wish You the Best of everything in your future endeavors where ever that may lead you. I hope that although you are on your way our of the country You will soon be back and we will get to see more of Larry Lau. May God Bless you. Take Care.
HellOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Out there!!!!!!Just wanted to say hi. Rehearsals are going great, we open in 10 days and things are looking good. It's a very intense play and my character, Martin, doesn't leave the stage once, so I've really got my hands full, and I'm loving every minute of it! Hope everybody's good, sending lots of HAMS! Larry.
Dear Jenn and Angela; received my package today, and needless to say, I was completely blown away. Thank you so much for my ´survival´kit!! You are too much! And I may be too much to fit into my costume with that jar of goodies staring me in the face everyday! But I love it and I thank you. Jenn, the news on the petition front is just terrific, thank you for sending the latest updated copy. I can't tell you how impressed I am. You all are so amazing. And I loved the rest of your letter, your thought are very much appreciated. I got to go, it's late for me, and besides, I think I hear a tootsie roll calling! oxoxo, Larry.
Hey Nickster~ not to worry, my friend. I've got you covered! I usually tape the OLTL marathon on Sunday. I will send it out Monday with some other things I have for you! "Virtually strange" and my name are often found in the same sentence! LOL! I have never been linked to "normal".. don't want to be, either! Hey, Larry... do your tootsie rolls always talk to you? The M&M guys are going to be jealous! Be safe and be happy! Luv, T*
Hey Larry..I didn't realized you'd be on stage the whole time! Wow! The scene you talked about was on today, the one with Hillary. I watched you when I wasn't watching her, you didn't move once! Bravo! Sam's ghost scared me today! You looked mad!!! Let us know how opening night goes. XOXO-Natasha
Hi Larry sounds like your busy busy busy and boy these last few days have been tear jerkers for me and all I can say is hats off to all involve in this story. you will be missed :( Cathy hi welcome is this my online friend that I talk to online on time in all of my groups OLTL and Ty and Larry ect. just wondering ? let me know if it you. Missy
Larry, you are the reason I started watching One Life to Live again. After many years of giving up on it. I love you with Nora and Matthew, please don't change a thing or I will quit watching again.
Maybe you could be written back in OLTL's story line that your death that your death was a set up to catch Lindsay. After all Troy/Colin and Asa's death was faked I think bring you back with Nora and Matthew and getting rid of Lindsey, Troy, and Mitch would really boast OLTL's ratings. Something to think about writers.
Hey Tater! Thanx for the mags and especially your sweet, sweet letters; they were so thoughtful. I still am getting used to being here and it just kind of catches me by surprise to receive something from ´home´, if you know what I mean. Thanx for putting a nice, warm smile on my face. ox, Larry.
Larry~you are so welcome! And yes, I do know what you mean. There really is no place like home, but I am glad you are enjoying your temporary new home. I am also glad that the package brought "home" closer to you. It came from the heart, and thinking about your smile, makes me smile, too! Have a wonderful day at rehearsal, and pass that smile along! I know I will! Luv, T*
Hey Larry I think your the best. Your a really great actor!! Keep up the great work. I hope the best in whatever you do.
Alicia- Welcome :) hi it Missy from Ty and Larry's group glad you made it to the guestbook. You will enjoy it over here Larry is great and Larry's ladies are fun too have fun posting. Missy
I understand there is a link to sign a petition to keep Larry on ABC. Can you help me to find the link Please? My e-mail address is: llcoolj69@msn.com Thanks!
Sure...here is the link! http://www.petitiononline.com/larrylau/ Thanks...
Larry...all your "ladies" take good care of you..you lucky guy! I want to tell you that the show has been heartbreaking...now everyone KNOWS just how great Sam was...the morgue scenes..OMG...can you watch those? Too believable for me. And Ghost Sam...OMG...scary...and you haven't said a word...so you not only play an incredible dead guy..you are a kick a$$ ghost....Did you have fun with the ghost stuff?...You are freakin' scary!..I love it! Keep having fun with the play...Nancy @}=====
Wish Sam was still alive for Jen. Jen needs a dad. Larry your scenes are great. Must have been hard to do. You play a great ghost though. Laura C.
Hey Larry and Larry's Ladies. I'm loving seeing GhostSam. He's scary and kicks a$$ as Nancy said. It's still heartbreaking watching the show without LiveSam on it but I'm game. I loved GhostSam haunting Lindsay in her dream today. I'm glad you're having fun with rehearsals are going great for you Larry. Good luck on opening night. You know the saying, "Break a leg". Just kidding. I'm glad the first day of Spring is tomorrow. I want warm weather not the cold weather we've been having in beautiful WA. Well I gotta to get to work. I have a long night ahead. xxxooo, Valerie aka LarrysLovePetal
Sorry. I can't help feelink that way. I guess I just too sensitive for me own good. Hehe. ;-) I also felt bad for Jen. It was hard for me not to cry while watching her crying over her daddy. Heartbreaking! :-( Eeeeek! I can't stand to see Sam as a ghost! Scary! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Oh no! I think I see his ghost! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! :-0 You know whooie, louie and dewie. Hehe. ;-) PS: It was also heartbreaking to read about what happened to you while you were growing up Larry. I cried over that too. :-(
Hi Larry~How is everything in Vienna? Those morgue scenes yesterday<<OMG>>and then today's scenes with Lindsay, Sam and Nora as the judge, were great! I think I'm gonna have to get the Kleenex out again for Sam's memorial:( Just checked out the pixs from rehersals, looks like your working hard. Can't wait to see the finished product. Take care & be safe. Lisa
Hello everyone! Nicky--thanks so much for the birthday card and email wishes! Right back at you, my friend! Hope yours is great! Yes, I hit the Big 40 today, but strangely, I don't feel any different today than yesterday! Larry--glad to hear things are going well in Vienna. Thanks for checking in so often. You rock! Patti
Larry ~ Boooooooooooo.....You are the most handsome ghost I have ever seen!!!!!
Larry~ We're glad that you liked your survival kit. We removed all the fat & calories from it before we sent it, so no need to worry about fitting into your costume. Angela & I are on the phone right now and we are sending you lots of hugs & hoping that you are happy and safe. Love & Smiles, Angela & Jenn
To everyone: Our hearts & prayers go out to everyone in the US and abroad (militarily and otherwise) We hope that you continue to be safe and that you are able to be in touch with loved ones during this difficult time. Peace & Love always, Angela & Jenn.
Hi, Larry!! Great GhostSam stuff today. Totally freaky! You were fabulous!!! Loved the scene with Nora, Lindsey and Sam. I had to laugh at Nora. It was awesome. Take care and lots of love, Miss Sarah Lee
WHAAAATTTT??? My dreams could finally become true!!!! I'd love to see Greg coming back to PV, I've waited too much for it. But as You Larry told us, it's too soon at the moment. SOB!! I'll wait one more time. WHY DON'T YOU JUMP HERE, IN ITALY once and for all? You'll have only to pass the frontieers and I'll be waiting for You. Dear Larry, I would be proud to make You comfortable in my house (I live near AUSTRIA : Friuli). One advice: try and get some cake called SACHER TORTE (that is my favorite one and a typical Austrian pie). I hope You'll like it. HAVE A GREAT GREAT STAYING IN VIENNA. YOU'RE MY FAVORITE ONE. SEE YOU SOON, I'M WAITING FOR YOU....
Larry~I hope all is well with you. Please be safe. I am thinking about you. Sending smiles :-) across the miles! Hams and world peas, too! Luv, T*
WHAAAAT???? I'd love to see Greg Nelson coming back to PINE V. I've waited too much for this, since when I was 15th. But as You told us Larry, probably it's too soon. SOB!!! I'll wait one more time again!!!! WHY DON'T YOU JUMP HERE, IN ITALY, ONCE AND FOR ALL??? YOU MUST ONLY PASS THE FRONTIER AND I'LL BE PROUD TO PICK UP YOU AND MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE IN MY HOUSE, MY DEAR. As a matter of fact I live near AUSTRIA (Italy : Friuli-Venezia-Giulia). By the way, Larry: why don't You try and get a piece of SACHER TORTE? It's an Austrian cake and that's my favorite one. Stake is also good in Austria like sausages of course. But I don't want You to get fat!!!You're wonderful as You are and as I've always said, the time never changed You, good-looking and handsome as ever. Sorry for doing mistakes in your language. YOU'RE MY FAVORITE ONE, EVER. See You soon, I'LL WAIT YOU BEHIND THE FRONTIER!!!!!! DON'T MISS THE DATE....
Hey Larry, my name is Valerie, and I've never posted on your guestbook before. But since Sam got killed on OLTL, I just felt compelled! I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your performances on the show over the past few years and I'll miss seeing you. You really brought a great deal to the show, you were one of my favorite characters. Good luck in your play, hope all is going well. I saw The Goat or Who is Sylvia? a while ago on a trip to New York and I loved it. And I'm sure you will do such a great job with the character! You're very talented and I wish you all the best! Maybe we will see you soon in Pine Valley! Hope to hear from you soon! Take care!

Hey Everybody; first thing I want to say is that my prayers are with the men and women who are in harm's way, fighting to defend freedom. My hope is that this war will be as short as possible, with as few casualties as possible, and that in the end, not only will 22 million Iraqi people be rescued from tyranny and be given the chance to experience democracy, but that the world will be that much safer from terrorism. Secondly, I just want to say hi to you all; welcome Michele from Italy, and Valerie V., gotta say Hi to Nancy J! Glad everybody is spooked by Ghost-Sam, it was fun to play; tho, I gotta warn you, you may not like the way they taint Sam's character,(posthumously); you'll see what I'm talking about on Sam's last episode, April 7th. You all, by the way, are still, beyond doubt, beyond question, the very best. Thanx for all your postings. Rehearsals are still going great; we ran the entire play for the first time today, and it's looking good: first live audience in one week! Thanx Jenn and Angela for taking the calories out of the goodies you sent me, that takes a huge "weight" off my shoulders; oh, by the way, did I tell you, I've got some great swamp land down in Florida for sale? Love ya, Larry.
Welcome Valerie V and the newbies, so sorry I haven't been posting much this week. Have so much going on. My thoughts and prayers are with the men and women who are fighting for our freedom. I pray that this ends soon. Larry, thanks for always keeping us up to date on how your doing! Your so cool! Stay safe and have fun hon:-) Love ya, ~*Angie~*
Dear Larry, I agree. We must think about this useless war and hope this gonna be the shortest and the last in human history. Thanks for your note for me. As ever, I appreciate very much indeed. Would you like to know a funny thing? After I red your comments about NUTELLA, I came back to the homepage and.... da daa.. it was on the screen, in a banner, flashing to me!!! Could it be a coincidence?
Hi Everyone~It's really hard to believe that we are at war. To all those here in the states & abroad who have loved ones overseas, you will be kept in all our hearts and prayers at this difficult time. On a good note now; I got some exciting news I'd like to share. My nephew & his wife just found out they're having a baby girl in July to add to the already 2 beautiful girls they have. Be safe everyone.XO Lisa
My thoughts and prayers are with all armed forces fighting for freedom. I have a cousin and a very dear friend over there already, and one getting ready to leave. My brother fought in the first war with Iraq, and was very proud to have been there to help liberate Kuwait. Larry~ glad to hear that the play is rolling right along. Hard to believe that opening night is just around the corner. As far as tainting Sam's character, nothing they say or do will surprise me. They have tainted his character for over a year now, and soon they won't have Sam to kick around anymore. Maybe ghost-Sam can go haunt the writers when he is finished with Lindsay! BTW...I have a golden state bridge...want to trade the swampland? Luv, T*
My thoughts and prayers are with the men and women of our armed forces and their families. My late father spent 21 years in the US Marines, and the troops have my full support. I pray that peace comes to the world soon. Larry, it is good to hear that the play is going well. Welcome to all the new posters.
Welcome all new posters my thoughts and prayers go out to all over in Kuwait, I am still waiting to hear from my friend and his wife but no answer they are in the Air force so I think one or both have went. So I have put a call out to his mom so I hope to hear from her soon. Larry wow so opening night soon great well you will have to let us know how it goes. also ladies- I missed OLTL today I do not have SoapNet so let me know was Larry on I need a recap and I may need to find someone to tape them for me. Missy
To Larry: I agree with you that the Iraqi people deserve to experience what true democracy is like. They have been suffering a little too long under Saddam. I also hope that God will protect our troops while at war there in Iraq. They - and the others who are willing to risk their lives for the rest of us - are the true Heroes to me. ***BTW, when you see posters using names other than their real ones, do you find that too impersonal? Do you find it easier to relate to those who use their real names? You know, some of us (including me), are afraid of what they call 'Internet Predators.' Some women have been killed by them. I also like having my privacy here on the Internet. I feel safer when I don't have to use my real name. Those who give their full names and other info, are being foolish. ***Because of the war coverage, I also didn't get to see today's episode of OLTL. I don't get Soap Net in my area either. Those of you living in areas that receive it are lucky. I have to read the updates at the Soap sites to find out what happened. Yuk! :-( ***One more thing Larry: for Easter, may I have some of your Ham and Peas, pretty please? But, with no sugar on top - I'm on a diet! Hehe. ;-D
Hello H,L&D~ welcome! I just thought I would let you know that the OLTL episode for today was not shown on SoapNet because of the current events in Iraq. they replayed yesterday's episode. BTW...I don't usually use my real name here either, but I have become friends with a lot of cool people here, and they-and Larry- know what my real name is. Feel free to use what ever name you are comfortable with. Besides, if Larry can talk to a *mouse*, I sure he will have no problem talking to 3 cute ducks! LOL! Larry Doolittle~ talks to the animals! Ask him about "the Goat"! Hope that makes you feel better, H,L&D. Take care! Tatermouse
Larry: Gotta say "~You are the best~"! You make me smile! You sound great! Yes, I am loving Sam the Ghost! You know they gave you the dead guy thing, and now the ghost and this is great stuff...it is just too bad we can see right through you, OH I MEAN "IT"! [Mr. Ghost] LOL! Just as we see right through their "supposed" tainting of Sam's reputation! All I have to say to that is: "Tainted Love" is my favorite song...and look how well that song did! Tainted Sam! Sam could have used a little bit of tainting when he was alive...you know..."fun" tainting! LOL! Yeah...count how many times I used that word in this post! I LOVE that word! They can write whatever they want...Sam will always be the BEST! But you know if they totally taint Sam...it will come back to bite them, it always does! LOL! Be HOT! (code word..even you don't know about!) Bye Lau Guy! Nancy J* @}====
Hi Tatermouse, I'm just having fun with Larry. Instead of using 'you know who' for my name, I'm using 'you know hooie, louie and dewie.' Get it? Hehe. How silly. Well, it seems he mostly acknowledges those who 'butter' him up with gifts and goodies. Does that mean we have to send some stuff to him in order for him to acknowledge us personally? Well! I just never! ;-) BTW, what do you have to do to become one of 'Larry's Ladies?' ***To Larry: Being forgetful has nothing to do with your hair color. It has to do with being Middle-aged. Some expert said that when you get to your 40's, you start forgetting things.
Hey Everyone~ Happy first Day of Spring!! :-] Luv, T*
Hey Tatermouse,Larry, and his ladies and everyone else Happy first day of spring like Tatermouse said :) ~~~~~ Nancy, yes I heard SoapNet ran repeats so I guess that good for me meaning when they do decide to air soaps again they will pick up where they left of and we will not miss no ghost Sam I was worried. ~~~~ but, what gets me I saw some people on the net really rallying about no soaps and I can't complain people have loved ones over there and there men and woman over there fighting for us and they are worrying about the soaps sure I want to see Sammy but, we need to know what going on over there toojmo sorry I ranted so long. Missy hope everyone family is safe.
You know who~ hey, that's really cute! LOL! I do have to tell you that Larry really appreciates all his fans, regardless of whether they send him "things". He tries to acknowledge everyone, but his fan base is continuing to grow, and sometimes it is hard to do. I think if he tried to answer all of us, he wouldn't have time to do his job! LOL! It doesn't hurt my feelings at all if he doesn't answer my question or says hi. If I send him something, it is because I want to, not because I have to, or to get his attention. That's not what I'm about. Want to be a Larry's Lady? It's easy and It's free!!LOL! Join us here at chats on Monday and Wednesday nites at 9:00 eastern and get to know everyone else! We are a fun bunch of people, you will see! Be sure to sign the petition to get Larry back on AMC... Nancy put the link on one of her posts. Have a beautiful first day of spring, everyone! Luv, T*
Thanks MB...here is the link for the petition again! http://www.petitiononline.com/larrylau/ Thanks everyone! Also, if ANYONE wants to get involved with the campaign to bring Larry back to AMC as Greg....email me at wewantgregback@yahoo.com and I will get information out to you ASAP! YES....and HAPPY SPRING everyone! I have pink on today for the occasion...not really...but it sort of fits! And no...I am not wearing ALL pink...Jenn no Barney jokes...it is a pink shirt! Jeez..you gotta be careful what you say! LOL! NOT! Have a great day!......Nancy J*..hey that rhythms (omg did I spell that right?) ...off to do my JOB now~
Nancy's spelling lesson...S-O-U-N-D O-U-T the word...I meant rhymes..not rhythms! Ta Da! The spell checker helped me with that one! Nancy@}===
Hey Larry... glad to hear you had a full run through. Are there any plans to do an Italian run through? Those are sooo much fun. It IS the first day of Spring and we can feel it in the air. Apparently NYC is going to get up to a balmy 62-64 degrees today. I managed to have a green grass spotting this morning. Got a little too happy in my car listening to tunes ... didn't realize I was doing 80. Got to work too damn fast. Ahh well... just have leave early. As for the war... well, I have my opinions... but I won't get into that here... (it's a happy place). I just hope there isn't too much damage (physically & emotionally) and it is resolved **very soon**... for everybody's concern. You Know Whooie --> To echo *Tater (also known as SpudVermin to those that love her)... Batteries are included... no assembly required... being one of crowd is easy as a click of a mouse. There are a few of us who regularly attend chat for many moons now and have gotten to know each other rather well. That's all... and Larry has never asked anything from us... we do things because we want to. Simple dimple. Everyone have a truly wonderful weekend... be happy and enjoy. HAMS & Squirrels.
Larry and all his ladies till Kat sees my last post with all my bickering I feel I need to apology I hate to come in here and complain so I am saying sorry I like to be positive in here so Kat please delete my last post ty and Happy Spring to Everyone :) Missy
Can anyone make a copy of OLTL and GH for me today. The reason why is because breaking news is on and I have a feeling that's it's going to be on when the shows are suppose to be on. Let me know by e-mailing me at larrysoltl@hotmail.com or by posting here. Thanks so much, Valerie
I forgot to add one thing in my last post. Were any of the shows on yesterday? I'm just wondering. Valerie
Nancy...you'll never get past the Barney thing...I think Baby Bop is pink, BTW...try something red, and then you can be cuddly little Elmo :) Missy...just to put some perspective on your post about people complaining about the soaps not being on...after I stared out my window and watched as the Twin Towers were on fire and eventually fell, and after watching 24 hours of news straight through, I complained about the soaps not being on. On Wed. night after I heard of the attacks in Iraq, I said..I wonder if the soaps will be on. I thought this to be insensitive to think, and then realized that OLTL is the only thing that is truly consistent for me on a daily basis. No matter how my schedule changes, OLTL will always be on at 2pm. I think people crave consistency, and need a release from the war stuff. Being in NYC, I've been terrified at times to even be outside, and feeling like an attack here is coming is just no way to live. So, here's to understanding both sides!!! And now that the barrage is starting in Iraq, I hope all of you hug and kiss your kids, tell your families you love them and all that stuff, and for those that are lucky enough to see their families, be grateful!! I'm sending EVERYONE cyber hugs & kisses. You all are in my thoughts!!! Love & Smiles & Peace, Jenn
Jenn - Thanks for your post Missy :)
Yes, Jenn, that was a wonderful post; thank you. And, Nancy; I couldn´t be happier that you'll be working with Kat as VP; there's no one better as far as I'm concerned; your enthusiasm is an inspiration. I received your package of "stuff" today, thank you! The comments, postings, pictures, and letters are great! The `happy Days´picture was particularly funny to me because,(did you know this?), I did a guest role on that show in 1980? Yeah, it was just one episode, but it was so much fun; it was my second acting job ever and I really didn't know what I was doing, but I got to work with the Fonz! Anyway, thanks again for everything.XOXO, LL.
Oh hey....Baby Bop is Green with a purple stomach and pink spots, LOL. I don't know why you were talking about that, but she is. I hope everyone is okay and that their families are safe. I don't really understand everything that is happening, but I hope it's all over soon. Larry, thanks for checking in! How's the play coming? XOXO-Natasha
Larry: First of all, thanks for all the very kind words! I am really excited to be doing this VP thing! Watch out - I said "really" excited! LOL! And yes, I did know that you were on Happy Days! And you go to work with "THE FONZ"? Did you get to touch his leather jacket? Oh..that would be a girl thing, sorry! LOL! That is really awesome for only your 2nd job! That was the best show! Do you have a tape of that hidden someplace? Fast forward a few years, and now we ALL get to deal with "THE FRONS" OOPS..I mean Mr. Frons! Smile! Smile! :):):) And I have to agree with you...Jenn's post was wonderful. Jenn, besides the Barney comments, you are the wisest person I know! You truly are! But I have told you that before! LARRY AND EVERYONE...have a great weekend! ....Nancy @}===
Nancy~~~~Congrats for becoming VP :)
Larry, I actually watched that Happy Days episode when it originally aired. It was called Bride and Gloom. Your character was the Big Man on Campus who dumped poor Jenny Piccolo as his date for the costume party and Fonzie stepped in as her date. Fonzie and Jenny went as a bride and groom. TV Land reruns the episodes of Happy Days so if I read that the episode is going to be rerun, I will be sure to let everyone know...Congratulations to Nancy J! You will be an excellent VP.
Yeah Larry, I knew.LOL! Someday I'll catch that episode on Nick at Nite.;-) Nanc; You are The BEST of The BEST! Congratulations! Jenn; All this sad stuff is making my keyboard all soggy. Don't make me come over there!Everyone be safe and don't watch that war stuff all day. It's not good for ya! Patti, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...:)Okay, I can't sing. It's the thought that counts...right? Pray for the Troops. Kelly~
OOPS! I did it again Jenn.
Hey Tatermouse, Larry did say in one of his previous posts not to take it personally if he doesn't answer everyone. I guess I have to take him at his word. I don't know him like some of you do. I do find it a little too good to be true though, when he sends everyone all those hugs and kisses at the end of his posts. I don't include myself with those he sends them to. I guess I'm just not use to getting any love and kisses from any guy. Those of you who've found nice guys to relate to are lucky. Because I've been too worried about ending up with an abusive guy, I haven't married yet. Pitiful, ain't it? :-( I glad to know though, that there are still nice guys like Larry out there. It warms the cockles of me heart, you know what I mean? :-) ***One more thing: Larry's 'Quacks' (the Ducks), were beaten today in the NCAA tournament. Oh, my poor relations! Hehe. Quack, quack! ;-)
Nancy ~ the wisest person you know, huh? Well, after all, I am 56 years old, so I have been through A WHOLE LOT!!!! Kelly..dry those eyes, or at least come to NYC and cry with me! I'm sick of crying alone! Patti ~ HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! HD&L ~ "Sing as if no one can hear you, dance as if no one can see you, love as if no one can hurt you." It may take a lot of wrong ones until you get it right, but when it's right, it's magic! Love, Hugs, Smiles, & Peace, Jenn
SEE..DID I SAY WISE==> Jenn...and you are 56 years young! NOT even close! ==> "Sing as if no one can hear you, dance as if no one can see you, love as if no one can hurt you." ==> "It may take a lot of wrong ones until you get it right, but when it's right, it's magic!" Kelly you are the official "blank leaver"! LOL! Thanks for the congrats ladies! Nancy @}====
Hey Jenn in NYC, Thanks for the wise words! I'll try to keep them in mind. My Dad made me feel that way about men. :-(
Hey H,L&D~Larry Lau and Walter Cronkite- the two most trusted men in America! Yes, you can take Larry at his word...the Lauman is for real! Enjoy the hugs and kisses; they are free, and no strings attached! Wow! Can you feel the love here? NancyJ*~ I have some more clippings and stuff that I think you might be able to use. I will get it out to you as soon as I can,ok? I am still looking for the picture of Larry from Happy Days. He is wearing a Tarzan costume! HOT LEGS! WhooHoo!! LOL! I still have boxes I haven't unpacked from when I moved in...8 years ago! Guess I should work on that, huh?? Spring...baseball season...Larry, favorite team? I like the Cubs- their catcher( Damian Miller) is from LaCrosse, Wisconsin...my homeslice! BTW...I bowled a 640 series tonight, and also won $30.00!! Gotta love it!! Take care everyone! Hams and world peas! xoxo T*
Jenn, you are my Yoda! ;-) Hugs and smooches are in abundance here everyday, but, you knew that.;-) My little guy ( who is now bigger than I am) has been sick with a virus. We woke up at 3 am, on the couch after watching a Sponge Bob marathon. We made French toast w/ strawberries, piled w/whipped cream. We are SO bad, but it was SO good. So everyone, I'm planning on having a virus by...let's say...Saturday night. Nanc, thanks for the "Tag." I was wondering why they all have that "blank" stare. And all the while I thought it was my dazzling beauty.Lmao! :-) xxoo, Kelly~
Kathleen, I was afraid of this; now everyone´s gonna see me in that silly Tarzan outfit! What a chuckle. Hey H, L, and D; you know, sooner or later, we're going shorten it down to one of the three, which do you prefer? Rehearsals still going great; we move into the theatre officially this coming Tuesday, excited about that. Okay, T*, I have always loved the New York teams; lately I've been more into the Yankees, so I'll go with them this year. I feel a bet coming. Thanks for the quote, Jenn. Have a great day, everyone, ox, LL.
Larry~Geeso Peeso! You felt a bet coming on all the way over in Austria? LOL! Cool beans! Remember, since you won the last bet, you get to name the stakes in this one- just please don't hurt me! LOL! Put your thinking cap on! Oh, and if you prefer, if I find that picture, I could "accidentally" lose it again. It is such a cute picture, though! Jenn, with the snow all gone, there are no more snow angels! We have had a lot of rain lately, maybe we can make mudpies! My Mom doesn't care anymore if I get dirty! I think she gave up on me a long time ago! LOL! Kelly, don't get sick! Smiles across the miles :-] Luv, T*
Hi Larry why are you worried about everyone seeing you in the Tarzan outfit we all seen that show any way I used to watch Happy days all the time just if some knows if that one is playing let me know I let to tape it. ~~~~~~ Kelly sorry your little boy is sick my little boy has a virus too I think he is getting over it though. ~~~~~~~~~ yesterday was really cold and cloudy here yesterday. it finally looks like spring today .. well hams and peas to you all xxxooooMissy
Huh? What? Whose typed in voice was that I just read? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't tell me! Hehe. Sheeeeesh ka Bobby Valentine! It's not the Lau-man, is it? Hey, Lau-man, are you talking to me? ARE YOU talking to ME? (You know what movie that line is from.) Hehe. LOL. Ain't too original, am I? Gee, it looks like he's addressing me poisonally - and I'm not even from New Joisey. Go figure! Hehe. ;-) Do you guys get that? You don't? OK. Do you guys think I'm a silly goose of a poster? Lau-man, since I'm a female, I don't think I'd like to be called louie or dewie, even though I really like the name dewie. It's a great name for a boy. How about the poster from left field? Oh, I guess that's too long also. Oh, I don't know. I can't make up my mind. ***To Kelly: Sorry about your little boy. I hope he will get well soon, and that you won't catch the virus also. Take care and God Speed, everyone! ***One more thing: It would be great for all of us to find a Pen Pal in the Military to write to. It will help their morale if they know that we support them.
just wanted to vent a bit. my husbands troop was attacked today, and it feels a bit lonely waiting for word if he is dead or alive. take care everyone. love, Angela
Hi Larry! Hope you're still enjoying yourself in Vienna - good luck on opening night in a little over a week. To Angela Sidell - my thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure everyone else on the board's, are with you and all of the soldiers' families tonight. I know that everything will work out ok. I have a good friend whose husband was deployed last week, and another whose daughter goes out this week. All Americans, whether we want war or not, appreciate what our Armed Forces are sacrificing. To Tatermouse - I know that we don't share football teams, since I love the Bears, but I am thrilled to hear you're a Cubs fan. I have a good feeling about the season! Nancy J - congrats on the VP thing - you greatly deserve it! To everyone, have a great spring! Mary
Angela- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know first hand, from the previous war, what you are going through. The hardest part is the waiting- not knowing what is happening. I will light a candle and say a prayer for you, your husband, and for the safety of all the Armed Forces over there. God bless them, and keep them safe! They are loved! In support, T*
Angela, I'm sorry about your husband. That's war for you. I hope you'll be hearing good news soon about him. Take care, and God Speed to our men and women at war.
Angela~~~~~~ I will say prayer for your husband Missy
Larry in a Tarzan outfit??? OOOOH,GOTTA SEE THAT ONE! So,Kathleen, can't wait for the update on the rerun! Now Larry, about the part of that show where you dumped Jenny Piccolo. Did you & Kathy Silvers talk about old times when you where on Soap Talk? I know she's the announcer. Did you ever get the feeling you should stay away from woman named "JENNY"?? Remember "JENNY" from another show? Glad to here rehearsal is going so great for you. Take Care,Rox Ann
Angela, sorry to hear about your husband. Hope you will hear soon that he is alright. Rox Ann
Hello Darling I just wanted to tell you that I am terribly sad that I wont be seeing your adorable face on my TV screen anymore at 2pm ET I miss you all ready **Kassandra**
Larry, you're worried about being seen in a silly Tarzan outfit? What about the photo where you're only wearing those tight-fitting Speedos? I think it was taken in 1984. I saw it earlier at a fan website. Like Christopher Walken would say - Wowie, Wowie! Hehe. :-D You still look good today. (I hope I'm making you blush.) Hehe. ;-) BTW, do you have a photo of yourself in a Karate outfit? Also, what are your favorite foods to eat?
grüßen! Glücksstag! Ok I am silly, I found this cool dictionary site. Larry, what did I just say? LOL! (Good morning, Happy Day...Would Happy Day's be "Glücksstag's"?)I found some funky words that I will share later, when appropriate! Can't wait! You know me and my words...maybe TPTB would like a little "stuff" in a nice foreign language?! H'mmmmmmmmmm! I don't know that they would forget that! H'mmmmmmmmm! I had a reason for this post, but I lost it playing around with the dictionary...oh well..it will come to me later...It is a beautiful day here! I think I will go for a nice long walk! Everyone have a great day! .......Nancy @)=====
Nancy LOL your too funny I want to know about this website you are talking about hehe email me the site please Larry hope you are having a great day :) hugs and kisses Missy

Angela, I hope your husband is okay. And I hope you find that out soon. Larry..how are things in Vienna? Anything new? XOXO-Natasha
Angela, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Larry, you have nothing to be ashamed of regarding the Tarzan outfit. Your performance was right on target during that Happy Days episode. Good luck with opening night of the play.
Just call me Kook. Of course, that's not my real name, but, it's shorter. Hehe. LOL. ;-) To anyone who is willing to answer my posts: When you ask questions or leave comments for Larry through the ask_larry section, how does he answer you, through your e-mail? He doesn't seem to do it here in the Guest Book. Does he wait to answer them in an interview or a chat? ***To Larry: I hope you and your fellow cast mates aren't being harassed by anti-war people there. I hate when they do that. You and the others have nothing to do with the war in Iraq. But, they're always looking for scapegoats to place the blame on. Because of that, I've been worried for your safety. I hope your rehearsals are going great. Take care and God Speed.
Larry, Good luck in everything you do!!! But, OLTL will never be the same with out you!!!! I will miss "Sam Rappaport!!
Angela, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Kelly~
Angela, You and your family are in my prayers.Hi Larry~ No need to be worrying about you in the Tarzan outfit, you looked very cute;)!!! That episode was on here about a month ago. Since we're on the topic of previous roles. What was it like to work w/Dick VanDyke on Diagnosis Murder? He's one of my favorite actors. He seems like he'd be a lot of fun to work with. Take care and be safe. XO Lisa
Lau-meister~ gutten morgen! Wie geht es Ihnnen? I am fine, danke! Wie ist das wetter? Are you still having schneewetter(snowy weather) or has spring begun? The weather here has been nicht so gut-not so good- rainy and gloomy. I hope all is well with the rehearsals, and I'll bet it will be nice to get into the theatre. It brings it closer to reality, huh? One more week before the curtain goes up, and the Lauman gets to shine! Enjoy your day! Auf Wiedersehen! Liebe(love), T*
I'm very impressed with everybody's try at German. Personally I only know the word for bra... diswillstopemfloppin. Okay, so maybe not... still a fun joke. LOL! One more week before you open Larry... getting excited yet?!! What is the set like? Is there a possibility the run will be held over?... And would you stay if it did? Angela --> I hope you hear good news soon. Do take care there girl... we're all hoping for the best.
Angela~~~~ Hope you hear good news soon .... ~~~~~ Nicky~~~~~~~ you are a riot Lmbo~~~~~~~~ Larry xxxxxxooooo to you sweetie to the rest of ladies have a nice day it beautiful here :) Missy
Hi Larry: Larry is a real nice country name, (My husband's name is Larry from WVA). Keep up the good work, It would be real nice to see you back on all my children, to spice things up for Liza and Adam. But I think Greenlee would like you because you seem to have a lot of things in common. Either way I hope to see you in movies, and TV movies, and dramas. You are very good, and I hope you don't take offense, but very nice looking too. I have been married for 27 years, way to old for you. You have the personality that will take you place. May God Bless you and your family. Connie Freshour 2129 Rose Blvd Orlando, Fl 32839
Hey, you guys, Larry hasn't been posting lately. Are you worried about him? I am. I hope everything is OK with him there in Vienna.
Hey Tweetie...I am sure Larry is fine! He is probably busy with the play...it is opening night in a week! He is probably living his characters life right now...huh, Martin? Don't try and "get his goat"...man...LOL! Sorry Larry...it seemed to work there! Or he is having LOTS OF FUN! Don't worry. He'll be around! ...Nancy @}=====
Hey Larry..The natives are getting restless here. I'm sure as Nancy said, you're just busy w/the play. Even though it's gloomy today, it's a good day. The soaps are back on, at least here on the west coast. With what's happening overseas we all need to have a sense of normal and consistency and that's what the soaps bring to many. Have a great day! Be safe. XO Lisa
Okay, how about a cheese joke? Food is popular here. T*, you should know this one. What kind of cheese isn't yours? --> Na-cho cheese! :-) Kelly~
Nancy, what's you e-mail addy. I need to e-mail you about something and I don't remember what your e-mail addy. Thanks, Valerie
Gouda one, Kelly! That one always cracks me up! Hey, I just got back from a very special shopping trip. Our radio stations are holding a special 24 hour marathon drive to collect items to be sent to our armed forces fighting in Iraq. They are collecting things like toothpaste, baby powder, baby wipes(no water, easy to clean hands with) razors and other items of that nature to help out the troops. It is a really neat way to show support for these awesome people. I went down and dropped off 2 bags full of stuff. If something like this isn't happening where you live, maybe you can call your radio station and get one started. I know it will be appreciated. Let's show our support for these brave men and women! Take care, everyone! Luv, T*
Angela, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. I hope you hear good news soon. Larry, I hope you're having a great time with rehearsals. love ya guys, Valerie
Kelly CH--eez! You funny girl! Hell-o Gor-geous! Not-yo-cheese! [that is a rapper's answer to that joke!] Cute! Val...I sent you an email, dear, just email me back! Larry...another ghostly day for Sam and Sam was actually ghastly...mean ghost! Be HOT! TTYSoon!...Nancy@}====
Hi Larry, hope all is going well over yonder. I have to tell you that Sam is scaring me now. Please don't ever do that again! LOL! It's just too SCARY! I'll watch until the end, but it won't be easy. Are you smiling over there? Knowing that would help.LOL! All my HAMS, Kelly~
Hi Larry!!! I wanted to say hello, how's things going with the play? Hope Everything else is going good for you. I saw "Ghost Sam" today, it was real spooky, and my mother also says hello-- she remembers you from when you were Greg on AMC!!! She doesn't get to watch much of OLTL because she is out running a trucking company, but she will ask me to give her the show scoop every day though!!! Take Care--Debbie
Hi my name is Tweetie - TweeTwee for short. (Remember the TV movie "Bill", starring Mickey Rooney?). Hehe. I know, it's silly. Kelly, I hope you're not making fun of the way black people talk. I'm not black, but I don't like seeing that anyway.
Hey Twee Twee, I never would. It was a joke! I hope your not making fun of the way birdies talk, Twee Twee. I don't like seeing that. ;-) Kelly~
Hi Larry, I just stopped by for the first time in months and read the press release. Sorry to hear you're no longer on OLTL but that's fantastic that you're in Vienna :) Have a wonderful time there. :) Hope everything goes fabulously there for you :) And whatever you else you do in the future, you're going to take the WORLD by storm now -- they'll see how brightly you shine!!! :) Maybe I'll see you shining from over here :) And maybe something you do will finally make it down my way. Hope so :) Take care and keep smiling that beautiful smile. Love, Lyn from Australia.
