Hey Everybody; flight plans pushed to Monday, and let me tell you, I need it. I hate packing and I'm just about to get started, but thoughts of you gave me another great excuse to avoid it a little longer! I told myself, tonight is the night, I'm gonna do it, I'm really gonna do it, I don't want to do it, but, I'm gonna do it. Any minute now I'm gonna have at it.
So, what's new? Hey, thanx everybody for all your good wishes for the play I going to do, I appreciate your support. Anybody in the area between Mar 31st and May 17th, it's the Vienna English Theatre. Listen, in case I don't have a chance to say this, this connection we've all shared has been great, just great. You're all the best and I'll do my best to stay in touch, but just know I'm going to be really busy for the first few weeks, rehearsals could be up to 12 hours a day, so don't get bummed if I don't pop in on you for a length of time. I will be back. Now, I guess I gave to get off my butt and start packing, and cleaning, and yuk. Love, Larry.
Hey, Mr.Procrastinator~I guess it's a good thing your plans have been pushed back a few days. I don't like packing either, I always end up taking too much. But then you will be gone for 2 months...We at least have you around for a few more days:-) With those long rehearsal hours make sure to get plenty of rest. Hi Larry! I just have a quick question for you. You told us about the reel you put together from your favorite shows from OLTL. I was just wondering if you did the same when you were on AMC and AW? I think it would be awesome to put together a reel that shows your work from all 3 soaps! Just wondering. Keep on Packing! Don't forget your boots! T*
Hi Larry, I'm new to your guest book. I like how your site looks. It's easy to navigate. I haven't watched OLTL since the late 1980s. Late last year I decided to watch again after all these years, and the only characters left since I last watched are Viki, Asa and Bo. I've been getting to know the other characters, and I have to say that Sam is one of my favorites. I felt awful hearing that you're leaving the show, and that Sam will be killed off. Good Luck with your new role and whatever else comes your way!
Give up procrastinating?!! Uh... I'll do that later! Packing is never fun... especially for such a long trip. Don't forget to pack that Lucky Leprechaun there... he likes to travel (he's already been to Paris). But don't give him any alcohol... he gets unruly & kind of flirtatious... I don't think France will ever be the same! Your play opens on my birthday Larry... always a lucky day... (well, some would argue... but this isn't the place for that. LOL!) Hmmmm... Vienna... now that would be a *great* way to usher in the 40's... hmmmm. Take care, and have a great *productive* weekend.

Hi Larry, Been a fan since AMC. Sorry to hear Sam is being written out of OLTL as he has always been one of my favorite characters. On a personal note, I use to work with you dad years ago when he was at Brent Explorations in Denver. How is he doing and where is he living these days? Hi Larry, Going to miss you here on the guestbook but I'm so HAPPY for you that you got a lead role though, Great job!! I know what you mean about procrastinating as I am the WORST, seriously..Good luck with your flight and we are all rooting for you. I know that Kat will keep us up to date on how your doing. Those 12 hour rehearsals sounds tiring though, make sure you get your rest. Hi Larry, I hope you have a safe trip to Vienna. I'm worried about you getting on a plane. I've never been on one before. Every time I hear about a plane crashing, I'm even more determined not to get on one if I don't have to. I guess I'm like John Madden and Whoopi Goldberg - too chicken to fly! I always worry too about my mom flying. When I watch her leave for the airport, I start worrying that I might not see her alive again. Take care and God speed! A-papa-oo-lau-lau! P.S. Hi Larry~It's snowing here in Wisconsin! Everything is covered in white, and it looks so beautiful! Ok, actually I am thinking that the big mound of snow in the driveway is my car, and I am going to have go out and unbury it to get to work. Have mercy, I LOVE winter! As I was watching the snow fall, I had a thought( not always a good thing as I am not a morning person)...I hope Larry's luggage arrives in Vienna the same time as he does! LOL! Well T*... that snow you've been having is about to come up here to play. Apparently we are going to get about 25cm overnight. I love winter, but... I've had my fill for this year... bring on spring!! Larry --> Hope your flight was great, that your rehearsals are going well and that you like your fellow cast mates. Trip was great, didn´t sleep, arrived diguised as a zombie Tuesday afternoon, taken to our digs, in the heart of old downtown Vienna, beautiful, everybody speaking German, this ain´t Kansas anymore, Todo, taken to a Viennesse coffee and chocolate cake reception at the theatre, which is amazing, built 100 years ago, met everybody, like ém all, first rehersal was today, great start. Kelly: You saw GRASS! NO FAIR! We got 8 more inches of snow today! I would love to once again see something that was not dirty snow color or ice! Oh and in a meeting today with snow falling very hard we had lightning and thunder! That was a bit freaky! Larry what color is the snow over there? Hey Sportsfans! I am so loving it here so far, rehersals going great; they aren´t working us too hard to start, today was only seven hours and it´s fun, so who cares! Hey Lau-meister... you keep dem' bones warm... catching a chill is not good! You should be use to that type of wet weather from your formative years on the West Coast. Larry your interviews in Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly were very brilliant as Jenn said. You echoed the feelings that many of your fans have had for months. You definitely deserve bigger and better things. Glad rehearsals are going good. Try to stay warm in that damp weather.

Kelly...I think I might actually have some Skittles. But, I'll go buy some Lucky Charms. I used to eat Lucky Charms in strawberry ice cream...it's the BEST. What a sugar rush! Hi Larry and Everyone! Welcome, Boomergal, glad to have another Larry fan on board here, always! Well, I live in the Chicago area and we got a bit of an unexpected snowfall around mid-afternoon today. Yecch, by March I expect it to start warming up, ya know what I mean? Ja? Anyway, Larry, I am glad to hear that you're settling into your role as a temporary Austrian. Be sure to take a side trip to Salzburg so you can check out the Von Trapp family, Ja? To one and all, take care of yourselves. Looking forward to us all getting together to celebrate Larry someday soon! Mary PS: I hated the way that they killed off Liz and Kerri yesterday. OLTL is having a terrible time finding a new rhythm I think. All of the favorite characters really look out of sync right now - none of the storied interest me much. I found this site a few day's ago. Does Larry really post on here or someone saying they are him? I have been a fan since I saw him on the waltons several years ago I wish he wasnt leaving oltl. Question, what is larrys ladies and what does it cost to be a member? Larry ROCKS!!

Hi everyone, I'm glad to see others welcoming new posters. I have to say I was feeling a little depressed when I made that previous post. There are a lot of things that are going on that are very depressing, you know? But, Larry welcoming me and saying he was sorry I felt left out, made me feel a little better. That shows that he is true nice guy. :-) I was looking at screen captures of Larry as Sam at the web site - Laurence Lau Online - and I saw some with Sam in jail. What did Sam do to get himself in jail? Did someone set him up to be framed for a crime he didn't commit, or what? I wasn't watching OLTL at the time. Larry/Sam, I am sorry that you will not be playing Sam on One Life to Live. I believe it is not in the best interest of the show to let you go. Your character was well played by you. I enjoyed watching Sam with Nora, his son, Lindsay, Todd, Troy, and was happy when Blair was getting close to Sam. You are a fine actor and I would like to wish you well. I must say that I will not enjoy the show as much without your appearance. Makes me sad. The people I thought would go and I would not miss, like, Marcie Al or Jen.. they stay??? why?? Well my opinion does not seem to matter as I have expressed it many times. You know Larry, years ago I watched Steven Frame on another world,, and you being his son. You are very talented. I hope I am able to find out what soap you are going to as I think your a fine actor, and will watch whatever show your in. Good Luck to you!! Judi Emmett
Larry, I think you were a terrific Sam!! You will be missed on OLTL. I am sooo disappointed.. You are such a fine actor. I am saddened of all the changes on OLTL.. Won't be the same without you. I liked Liz too! Their loss as I may not want to watch anymore. The persons that are truly good actors and make you laugh and cry leave. The ones that can't act stay. What are they thinking about!! Let Marcie go or Al! Sorry Larry, just very sad about you leaving the show, was getting interesting you and Blair!! You are a terrific actor!! Please let me know what tv soap or show you will be in. Hello one and all & new people too {wave, wave}... Haven't been around much, doing some packing myself and will be moving into my new place on Sunday. Pretty much fast rewind through everything now... I know we are being led down the garden path to Sam's demise. Very hard to watch... ~sigh~... but we know it will come.
