Wow! You gotta love this snow! I was the first one out of my building this morning, making the first deep tracks out thru the courtyard. And the city is so hushed when its like this, it feels almost small town-like, quiet and cheerful. Glad you're safe and sound way up there, Jenn; but I don't know what the plural is for roof; roofs sounds okay to me, but it could also be a dog barking. Be well everybody, oxoxoxoxo, LL.
Hey Larry! Glad you are enjoying the snow! Are those boots of yours getting a work out? Are they made for walking? LOL! We should be getting some snow here in Wisconsin pretty soon! I hope by then that I am feeling better so I can go out and enjoy this winter wonderland. I actually saw some mice running through the snow today! My friends! LOL! Hey everybody! This has to be one of the coldest winters I can remember. We are getting pounded by the lake effect machine again today. We have reached a snowfall total here of 125.3 inches so far this season....stay tuned.lol! Oh, just a little tip from the snow-belt: A push-broom makes a great snow-brush! Be safe everyone. Larry...New name for you in your white suit "light bright white knight"...LOL! Well I had to name the picture something when I sent it out! Actually you reminded me of Bogey in Casablanca...I like the white...I always LOVE the black though...you know? Hey Jenn! The plural of roof is roofs, or you can just say ~ roof roof ~ in which case you could be having a wonderful conversation with Mojo- the talking wonder dog! Kelly, what a talented dog you have! I hope the snow isn't getting anyone down. It is very spring-like here in Wisconsin- sunshine and very warm! You don't really need a coat! I took a little walk to get some fresh air and just enjoy life! I can see the ski slopes from my house, and it looks so beautiful at night all lit up! I definitely LOVE winter! Take care everyone! T*

If both Mojo & Larry say it sounds like a dog barking, how can I argue? Nancy...dogs don't talk? I'll remember that, and if you ever meet my dog in PA, she's going to bite your butt for that comment! (and Mojo isn't thrilled either!) MB (mouse girl), I DID make a snow angel today. And just for extra kicks, it was so deep that it got in my boots, pants, shirt, and hair. Gotta love the snow...although I've never seen so little street space in NYC...all the lanes are filled with snow! MB-I'm coming to your house to make use of those ski slopes! Larry and Friends~ Happy glorious Wednesday! It is going to be another beautiful spring like day in Wisconsin! We have been seeing a lot of Robins around here, lately. They must think Spring is here already! The weathermen for our 2 TV stations had predicted snow for Thursday and Friday. Now one is saying that it is going around us, and the other is saying we might still get some snow. Personally, I don't think either weatherman could find their butts with both their hands! LOL! I will just stick my head out the door~ if I see fluffy white stuff coming down, I will know it is snowing! Or as my Dad used to tell me, the angels are having a pillow fight. I need some snow! You are the chipper one there T*... thanks for the warm thoughts of spring. My Dad keeps teasing me that his roses are blooming out West... and I still keep threatening that I will be moving back home if he keeps it up. LOL! Have to keep the old guy on his toes... keeps him young. Larry --> hope that small, albeit quickly put together package made it out to you by now. Once again I get the dreaded "The item has entered the destination country" message from the post office. Serious Sam lackage lately... hope that changes soon. OLTL will **not** be the same without you... it really won't! I'm almost too afraid to find out how you exit the show. Is it possible to let us know if Kleenex will be needed? Stay warm to those in the snow, we have lots of guests at the hotel from back east and they are happy to be here even though it is cool and breezy (72 today). LOL Nancy!! You want details?!! I'll give you details... LOL! I've had a couple of letters read on this two minute soap update show that we have up here. Comes on during the 30 minute mark on OLTL as well as on AMC. She talks about the characters & actors of each show during the appropriate break. It does go across the country... which is great. Anyhoo... sifting through (aka fast rewind) my tape of today's OLTL episode I saw a flash of Larry's headshot ... sure enough she announced that Sam would be "killed off" around the end of March... "however there was a huge campaign going on to have him return to AMC"... which she thought was great. She then said "I will have more details about that tomorrow and how you can get involved if you like." This particular network runs AMC & OLTL back to back... so there is a lot of cross-over viewers. I will update you again tomorrow to see where she takes it. Sorry this is long... I can be verbose at times. LOL!

What if he had to run and it got caught...or better yet..he is in a tussle with a 10 year old and the 10 year old yanks the chain and chokes him to death? I have a very special message from Larry to pass on to Nancy, Jenn and Nicki for all their very special gifts, cards and letters you have recently sent the "Lau Man". Larry unfortunately was struck with food poisoning, which believe me, is NO FUN ~ I've had it three times in the last 10 months. He is doing fairly good, but was unable to post this himself. So Larry told me to thank you all from the bottom of his heart, and he can't express enough how much he loves all the wonderful things you do for him. He completely and wholeheartedly appreciates all the things his fans send him, and he especially enjoyed the Leprechaun and jelly beans. ;-)
Larry should be back online next week, and will be sharing some fabulous news with everyone. Sorry to keep you all in suspense, but I know you'll be as thrilled as much as I am for Larry.

Fabulous news?!! *perk* That's wonderful!! Can't wait to hear the good news! So sorry to hear of the food poisoning... I've had that unfortunate thing a couple of times in my life. Definitely not fun... and leaves you feeling weak for some time. When you feel up to it, try having a bottle of Gatorade... it helps replenish the minerals in your body that you've lost. Nancy- I so have to agree with you on the writing. Sometimes you can't go back again, and OLTL is proof of that. The stuff we are seeing now looks like material that "Passions" rejected. They don't need to dig up the past - some things are better left buried! I don't think this has been a snow storm - it is more like a snow job! OLTL needs to get into the 21st century and stay there! there is a reason it is called "forward progress". "Sam" had such potential, now he only has a "ghost" of a chance! What a waste of talent! T*

I agree with you MB about the snow job, what a joke OLTL is turning out to be, I still have 2 days on tape to watch, and really don't think I care to, probably will get more ridiculous as it goes. I swear these writers stole my script from my Spanish class last semester, we had to do a skit for the class as our final, and we made it a novella, Spanish soap opera, and believe me it was over the edge silly like OLTL is turning out to be. Folks...this afternoon I made up some flyers to send to TPTB. Just print them, fold them up like a regular letter, staple or tape them closed and put the PTB addresses on them and put them in the mail. I am not sure of the cost...maybe you could use a postcard stamp. I played around with the pictures of Larry from the little clip they would play at "half time"...came out pretty cool. I can't remember when OLTL was so difficult to watch. I didn't enjoy the Mitch Lawrence storyline the first time. I certainly won't sit through this twisted story again. This whole thing is pretty sickening. Larry, you will be sorely missed on OLTL. It is way too dark in Llanview these days for me. Sam was on today, a little ray of sunshine. YES Kelly...I agree...I can't watch this show...I FF'ed and saw Sam and was VERY HAPPY....Great Sam and Blair stuff...but the rest is really too twisted. To see characters just non-chalantly saying that "he wanted to take out her heart". Freddy and Frankstein...doesn't belong on a soap...and in my personal opinion..it just doesn't belong at all...I am not into plotless mindless horror movies...Nancy
Mo Chara's!!!!!!!I'm back! Just plugged in, got my little lapper working again and I feel connected and whole! How is everybody? Anybody still sick? Jeez, what a week we all had. I'm totally back to normal--well, ya know, as normal as I can be. And loved reading all your posts, you guys are without a doubt the most grooviest, the most funny, the most awesome people in the world. And that goes for you too, Dude! Thanks for the great stuff I've been getting at the studio, it is so appreciated. And the PETITION just absolutely blows me away! I really can't find the words to express how incredible it is, or express my humble gratitude. I am literally speechless. I hope you know when I say "thank you", what I feel is a whole lot more than just that word.
You know, today I edited my OLTL reel that I'll be taking with me for potential future submissions, (I narrowed it down to five minutes--you gotta grab their attention quick and then leave'em wanting more, so they say)-- and I watched my four favorite episodes from the first year and I know I've said this before but I can't help saying again that there was some really good stuff back then, there was real stuff to play, they had moments of truly fun reparte', good believable dramatic conflict and some real heart-wrenching moments, and I was watching all this and it got me all psyched up again about the possibilities of Daytime. It can be great. What a gift it's been to have been a part of some that.
Anyway, the page has turned, a new chapter has already started and a new adventure begins! Last Monday I left the studio during lunch break, braved the blizzard, made my way to an audition for the lead role in an Edward Albee play, The Goat. This play won the Tony award last year for Best Play. They called me back in last Friday for a second go-around, the morning after my food poisoning, which as some of you know leaves you feeling like you've been run over by a Mack truck, and they called back later that afternoon and----------I got the part!
But wait, here's the kicker: it's being done in-------Vienna, Austria! I'm not joking. I leave this coming Saturday, the 1st. Rehearsals start the 3rd, we open March 31st and it will run for seven weeks and I'll be back late May. I am very excited about this, as you can imagine. Never been to that part of the world. Can anybody spell Vienershnitzel? Anyway, it's such a gift. I'll be going a little crazy this week trying to get ready, and I will try to figure out how to stay in touch with you all while I'm gone. At minimum I'll always be in touch with Kat.
So there, that's the good news. How 'bout Aufwidershen, can anybody spell that? Talk soon, love Larry.

Larry, I am soooo happy for you regarding the play and going to Austria. Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, in my opinion! You should love it there. And, when you have a few minutes of free time, there's much to do and see in the surrounding area. You won't be too far from some ski territory if they let you do that (or at least maybe after the play is finished!). Again, many congratulations! They got the best "Lau-man" for the job, no doubt. Glad to hear everyone is feeling better. The ER here has broken it's record for the most patients ever seen. The fire marshal even cited the nearby children's hospital for being over crowded! The major culprit is this nasty stomach virus. Sorry about the food poisoning Larry; that's not much better. Glad you are back to your 'ol self. Congrats on the LEAD ROLE! Austria is beautiful...much nicer than Llanview:) The "hills" really are alive with the sound of music. It's breath taking. If you get a chance, take a train ride around the country/mountainside. We will miss you but your new chapter in life will be worth the long distance HAMS. Have a great time and "break a leg!" BTW, if I recall (cuz it's been like 15 years), it is Weiner-schnitzel and Auf wiedersehn!:)DonnaH:)
Hey Larry... I had a thought (surprising to some yes... I do have them from time to time.)... while you are over there, enjoying a tremendous country & fabulous city... you might like to try and research your family roots. Germany is very close by... you might shock yourself and find a long lost distant cousin or two. Also... when I went to Ireland I took my laptop. I got a universal adapter, works really well. So you may not have to go unplugged. Most hotels now offer that type of service. Something to keep in mind. You will have a truly wonderful time... I just have a feeling! Knock their socks off Lau-man (because apparently you may be needing them. LOL!)

Larry I am happy for you congratulations. While you are in Austria if you have time hop on a train and go to Insbruk. I was there a few years ago and it is beautiful. Alright you people... I thought I had avoided the rash of people getting sick or hurt... but alas, it caught me too. (Put hand to forehead, secure with staple gun.) Now it's nothing as dramatic as say falling on ice or getting food poisoning... but I managed to have a bizarre altercation with a stapler (it won)... I now sport a sprained wrist. I had always wondered where that picture of you came from when you had your hand over your face and were in shock... Well Nicky I got you topped with the staple thingy. I have never been so scared in my life , my sis -n- laws house burned down a few hours ago. She was at an appointment when her husband called her from outside the house her 17 year old daughter is fine but, at first the were not sure if her boyfriend had already picked her up for school but, my mother -n- law called they said her mom picked her up and she is fine.. My second cousin is on a submarine near Iraq, and I fear for his safety if we should go to war. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Cole. The good word is that Cole is doing well. He was pretty badly burned, but he's going to be okay. I was able to speak to Cole for a minute, his spirits are high (could have been the drugs...not sure). It was reassuring to hear his voice. The great news is, Cole will be home to celebrate his twentieth birthday in March. Thanks again everyone, Kelly
