The winner will receive a personally autographed picture of Larry. Again, just send your storyline ideas for All My Children: -->ideas about what Greg has been doing for the last 17 years --> ideas on how he could come back to Pine Valley --> what he could be doing on the show now --> who he could be interacting with, etc. We NEED as many IDEAS as we can get! I would love to see you come back to AMC. I loved watching you on AMC and Another World. You were the reason I got hooked on AMC. I saw you on Hollywood Squares and just had to see you on your soap. I gave up on AMC after you left because it just wasn't as much fun anymore. I wish you much success in whatever you do after OLTL.

Hey! Hello out there! How ya'll doing? No, haven't got my computer back yet, rumor has it may be sometime next week, keep your fingers crossed. The day I had to learn four pages of courtroom dialogue in 10 minutes will probably air in about three weeks, and, no, I won't be watching that day, thank you very much! I can't say when my last day is for obvious reasons, but I'm still on the schedule for awhile. They got some good stuff cooked up for me to do and I'm really looking forward to it. As to the future, there are some nebulous irons in the fire, you know, ideas, possibilities, potentials, but I've given myself permission to not make any fast decisions. I might just take a breather for awhile, maybe go skiing in Utah. I'm still not sure of my last day of taping, to be perfectly honest, so it's hard to make any definite plans, as of yet. The next adventure will begin when it's supposed to. You all are the very best; I can never say that enough. xoxox, Larry.

While Lau's supporters are disappointed about his impending exit from Llanview, they are lobbying for him to reprise ALL MY CHILDREN's Greg. "Greg has more than a few ties to Pine Valley -- Tad, Liza, Erica, Opal -- and many fans waiting for his return," penned one. "It is a very interesting possibility!" If that weren't enough...The 'Dueling Divas' section of Weekly has commentary on the petitions/campaign for Larry as well...a small excerpt: Linda Sussman: "The bad news for Laurence Lau is that Sam Rappaport is being written off One Life to Live. The good news for Lau is that his loyal fans immediately began petitioning TPTB at ABC to bring Lau's Greg Nelson back to All My Children. The person that runs the AllMyChildren.about.com site sent out a newsletter and the subject line is "Greg Nelson to Return To Pine Valley?"...She put the petition in her newsletter, first item on the newsletter..she also has it on the front page of her site and that links to an entire page about Larry and "Greg". This is incredible! Thank you Gloria! She was asked to participate, and we appreciate all of the things that she has done! I sent her an email thanking her myself. She is a life-long fan of Larry's. Larry...this is all really amazing and a bit unbelievable to me. But...you are FINALLY getting the attention the YOU DESERVE! We will do all we can to keep you front and center! Mo Chara!!! Mo Chara!!! (I don't know what that means, but it sounds sexy!) Just had to say HELLO again, I'm down here in Wash.DC visiting friends for the weekend, thought I'd check in on you guys and, as usual, you guys knock my socks off! Thank you so much for all this support. You guys are so much FUN! Your ideas and comments are great! I spent yesterday afternoon going thru four different episodes of OLTL from my first year, pulling out scenes that I want to put on a special ten minute tape; the scenes were 1) Sam/Nora Jailhouse, 2) Sam/Nora make love, 3) Sam/Nora afterglow banter just before Mathew comes bounding in, and 4) the Sam/Nora break-up in the compacter room. I just noticed this in the Dueling Diva's article: This is part of Carolyn Hinsey's response to Linda Susman about Greg returning to AMC. ==>Is there a "lau" against putting two faves in a story together? What a concept.<== I put the quotes around lau when I typed this out..but it is spelled that way in the article. Typo...Freudian slip...meant to be there..not sure, but from previous experience (writing letters to TPTB).."Lau" never passes the spell check! LOL! LOL Larry!! You are too much! :) I can tell you how to pronounce it. Mo Chara... mow (very light sounding) and chara is like a breath. The 'ch' acts like a hard 'h' (or rather akin to having a popcorn husk lodged lightly in your throat.) Blend the two together mow-hara. (Don't forget to roll the 'r'.) Slainté means 'cheers/to your health' and is pronounced "slawn-cha" As to the meaning mo chara... well... maybe I will tell you later in Gaeilge lesson #2. LOL... maybe. ;) Sounds like you're having a fun with friends... have a wonderful time and a safe trip home. The scenes you mentioned that you are adding to your reel sound great. I remember those quite vividly... and they were really strong! IMHO I think you could also do comedy quite well actually... your delivery on the scenes with Brian/Ben (him asking Sam to commit him) were hilarious! Your timing was really great! I actually have those scenes saved for myself on tape. It was truly **very** funny stuff. Do you have any idea when and if "Jumping for Joy" will be in general release? It looked like a lot fun. Excellent choices of scenes for the tape...It is too bad the writers could not write scenes of that caliber for Sam during your entire stay at OLTL..I agree with the other ladies you can do both comedy and drama well...Hope you had a fun trip.

Hey Larry, Hope you enjoyed the trip to DC. The scenes you chose were some of my favorites. I too think you are a natural for warm fuzzy(romance) and comedic stuff. I loved the jail scenes and the dinner at the Palace with Nora when she first started to get her memory back. Time for new memories and new favorites scenes. We are all poised and ready:) Jenn congrats on your petition and the mag recognition ladies. So Larry I would ask you when is the latest we can send mail to West 66th St. but then that would pretty much tell us when your last day was/is. I do wonder how we can continue to send fan mail though. Maybe when you exit on the air you can let us know:) I suppose we can always reach you like this until your next gig. The power of the press... LOL! I'm so psyched right now!! I have to tell you this. While everybody has been working on the U.S. Soap Mags... I decided to work on the Canadian press (yeah... so there is only 37 million of us... but we watch a lot of TV. LOL!) I just got off the phone with a rep from Global TV... I had written to Elaine Loring who provides info on the ABC soaps on another national station we have (they air AMC). They wanted more information on the campaign.. and wanted to check the address for the petition and this web site. (They asked me if I worked for you Larry... I had to laugh and say " uh..un-officially... in a way!" Then I explained about our efforts over the past months.) Anyhoo... they are going to mention it in a spot running in two weeks and give the URL address for the petition. Even though Global is a Canadian network... they do 'stream' a little south of the border. Just had to share that. What a Monday morning! A good start to the week. LOL! Just had to share.

My little mouse paws just can't keep up with them! As I am typing this...yes, mice can type!..I have received 5 alerts that I have responses to my post. I just read about your pending departure on OLTL and I think it inhales hair through pursed lips very hard! AS Greg nelson I loved you dearly and then as SAM Rapport I was so elated to see you again on my favorite soap but now rumor has it you are leaving this can not happen you are hopefully going to get back with Nora where you belong. I have watched channel 7 soaps for 30 years but now they are making me upset with all these terrible changes. I WAS always good at predicting what would happen but now things are a little far fetched sometimes the writers must think the fans are stupid. Where ever you go I will hope to be informed because you are a wonderful actor and so worth following.

Hello and Happy (belated) V day to all of you. I'm back to good health and feeling great, thank you all for the good wishes. Sorry some of you are following in my footsteps--take care of yourselves! I just have to say THANK YOU so much for all the wonderful V-day gifts from everybody, they were so incredible! I can't list them all right now, but each and everyone was SO appreciated. I sincerely mean that. You all are making this transition for me so much more full of love and kindness than I could ever have imagined and I am so grateful. Thank you, thank you. Katherine knows the last day I will be able to receive things at the studio, I can't tell you myself, as you know. Feels like there's more to say but I'm kind of under the time-gun at the moment. Tatermouse--I fall under that category of being hit by an east coast storm. Here in PA, they stopped giving accumulations in inches; they're now saying upwards of 2-3 FEET! I'm well over 2 feet, probably closer to 3! I have 4WD, but even my little Jeep Liberty doesn't want to drive through this mess! I'm glad I have off for President's Day. This snow is AMAZING. I suppose I can say that because I'm all nice and warm in my apartment. I don't have to go out and shovel, or drive anywhere. I can't see the river a few blocks away, and there are cars that are buried except for their roofs (what is the plural of roof??). CRAZINESS in the city!!! Stay warm everyone! :) Jenn
