Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! I have spent the weekend cleaning and waiting for some good news. My parents were called up (from Miami) to Massachusetts because my grandfather was brought to the hospital with the possibility of OD'ing on Atavan, but it turns out he didn't, he did though have a mild heart attack and was not lucid at all for 3 days. My mother said he looks a thousand times better today than last night when they saw him. So, all in all it has been an eventful weekend for me. If my grandfather recovers well in the next week I will be leaving for my cruise a week from tomorrow! YAY! Merry Christmas to me! Can't wait to see what OLTL has in store for us this week! Hi Larry! Hey, Buddy, have you noticed that since I asked you who your favorite football team was, they have been winning?? Ya gotta love those Jets!! Keep the Faith!! I will be on television today myself. The restaurant chain that I work for is celebrating our "day of giving" today. 10% of the sales from each restaurant will go to the local food pantries that help feed people in need. We will have press and TV coverage there, and as head of promotions, I get to talk to the reporters about what we are doing. It is a great cause , so I hope we have a great turnout. I hope I don't faint because I am not comfortable in front of the camera. I did a commercial before and the cameras scared me! I am a mouse! LOL! Take care. xoxoxo Tatermouse

Hellooooooooo Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you all have a wonderful Turkey day and eat so much you are rolling on the floor groining in exquisite pain! I mean that very sweetly. Thanx for all your great comments, I'm really glad you like what you've been seeing lately. I tape my first show with a script by the new writers Dec. 16th and I'm looking forward to that! There's some very exciting stuff coming up for us to tape this coming week. But don't forget, we are about 4 to 5 weeks ahead of the air shows.
Anyway, Yes, the JETS rock! And go BEAVERS!! We had our first snow here in New York this morning, it lasted maybe five minutes, but I saw, I really saw it. And tonight I had dinner with a friend across from the Museum of Natural History where they blow up the giant Macy's Day Parade balloons and the streets were packed with kids and their parents totally enjoying it all; it was great to see. How is it possible that they predict NYC will have 3-6" of snow this morning and we got NOTHING!!! Just wet roads...but I did see the brief "snow" this morning while I was walking. I LOVE snow...making snow angels in Central Park...that's my goal for this winter! Nancy--I can't believe you got that much snow. How lucky! Yes, we did get that much snow...It was BEAUTIFUL this morning...everything was covered with thick heavy snow...even the tree branches...completely covered! My son was a snow-boarding king and I was the clothes-dryer queen...in the house/out of the house / wet clothes/dry clothes....I LOVE SNOW ANGELS...they are my favorite part of playing in the snow! Unless it is a good snowball fight with a friend or 2...LOL! (Angels!) I guess it just missed NYC...Take care~!

Well, dinner is over, the pie has been eaten and all is well. I missed all my soaps today because the Patriots were playing on one of the TV's and Barbie's Nutcracker going on the other TV.... no soaps for the weary in this house! LOL. Good news is that the Patriots won!! I know, there aren't many Patriots fans on this board, but you have to admit last years super bowl win was a miracle! As far as snow goes, it's not happening here in South Miami! Last time it snowed in Miami it was 1977 and that was North Miami... about 45 minutes from here! I do admit I miss the white stuff, especially when the holidays come along! Well, now I suppose finishing the Christmas shopping and starting the decorations are in order! My bad....but it was a video I wanted and hubs said it was ok, since it counts as both a birthday AND Christmas present for me. Tatermouse....yes, I sure did know the Saints had training camp in LaCrosse! I can't for the life of me figure out why they stopped going there either....It's hot as blazes down here at that time of year and the humidity is a killer too. Larry--thank you SO much for signing my photos for me and for the sweet sentiments, and thanks, Nancy for getting them signed for me. I just got them in the mail yesterday (after some confusion of "Did you mail the photos? No, I thought you did!"). I wish I could have been in NYC with Nancy, Kelly, and Jenn, but I have that annoying thing in my life called a job! They really hate it when I go away for more than a day, but I guess that's good for job security!
Side note--Kelly--Hershey Bears 4, Syracuse Crunch 3, but the Crunch goalie faced more than 50 shots and was phenomenal! Sorry, had to get in some hockey talk. For football, I'm a Giants fan (don't throw anything at me, please!), since Kerry Collins, a Penn State grad, grew up near my home town! Gotta cheer for the PSU alums, you know! Happy Post Thanksgiving (still groaning from all I ate!) Everyone! Since we're spending so much time talking about sports and all, I just wanted to share that I took a post Thanksgiving trip to Florida to watch my beloved FSU Seminoles beat the tar out of the UF Gators! It was great fun - we owed 'em one after getting beat last year. And FSU needed the win to save what has been a less than stellar football season! The return trip was true Thanksgiving travel hell - I started out leaving from Tallahassee, FL yesterday morning at 6:15 am, but didn't get on a plane until I left Jacksonville, FL yesterday evening at 6:15 pm! I did get some free plane tickets for my trouble, though! No snow in Florida this trip - not that I was expecting any - Chicago usually doesn't disappoint for winter weather!
