Hellooooooooooooooo there!!!!! It's so hot in New York I could fry an egg on my forehead! That noise you hear in the background, the ratatatat, is the driving of foundation pilings for a new building under construction a block away from the studio. And yes, it's incredibly frustrating for everybody to deal with; it's kind of like Chinese water torture, only with sound. There are frequent loud explosions, too, that really make you jump and rattle your nerves. Many of the staff can't escape the noise because they have to be inside all day; at least the actors can get away from it more often. It's a serious headache, literally. It could continue for months. The technicians are doing their best soften this audio intrusion, but we're just going to have to grin and bear it for awhile.

Good to hear from you again! I understand the sounds that can give you a headache! Here in Miami they are always building and making noise from real early in the morning to pretty late at night....After 2 years of living here I have finally gotten used to the noise and can sleep through it most of the time. I'm sure that most of us will be able to bear with a little extra noise on our show as long as you grace our screens as much as possible :o) Have a wonderful week and keep cool! HI Larry, I for one am hoping a S&B paring doesn't happen b/c there is just to much baggie there with Todd ect.. What I would love to see is for Sam to have a new love interest someone who will really love Sam like he should be loved. So I hope it doesn't go past the thinking stages! Hey Larry, Thanks for posting again so soon! Like I said before, it is to the cast's credit they can all get through the days on screen with that background noise! If we needed proof how cool the cast is after the superb live week, well, you guys are doing it again! It seems like the show will soon have a lot of cast members leaving.....and that's a shame. I even had the thought of having Sam be the one shot in Rae's basement.....that would have him on screen a lot, Blair would realize she has feelings for him if something happened to him, maybe Nora would have also, and you could have a chance to sink your teeth into a good story while Sam was recovering....oh well, too late now!! Oh well, back to my ongoing plumbing problems and my real life (sheesh).....lately my life could be a storyline on the show......Take care, Carol Ann
Hey everyone! LARRY--I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather here in the city. Well, at least it's not so humid anymore! To say I've been frustrated with your character's direction lately is an understatement...but, I hope that'll change (and we'll do everything from our end to make sure that happens!) CARLA--the OLTL and AMC Fan Club luncheons are being held here (at the Marriott) the same weekend next year--Aug. 9th for OLTL and Aug. 10th for AMC. So--make your plans. I'm very lonely and need some excitement around here. NANCY--no Calvin's for you last night, but in all fairness, I didn't see any either. Sam seemed surprised today by the kiss on the lips with Blair. It was so cute the way they apologized to each other. They are still trying to deny their feelings. I got a kick out of Sam telling Chad that Blair had decided to not to hire him. Looking forward to those scenes between Sam/Blair and Sam/Lindsay. Fall should be interesting as Sam and Blair sort out their feelings for each other.

Great scenes today Larry! I sure did enjoy the surprised look Sam had when Blair had kissed him. I just love your acting on OLTL, I took karate too, but I quite last year, they changed it to much for me and I was not having any fun anymore, but I was 2 belts away from 1st degree black belt. It is awesome you and me have something in common. I am a young teenager! But anyway you are good looking, so if anyone says your not say yes I am a fan of mine says I am good looking. Larry, NOT ENOUGH SAM!!! Sam and Blair were so much fun to watch together the other day. Your reaction to that kiss was priceless. I can see so much potential there but for some reason TPTB are bent on trying to establish Sam in the mist of someone else's fan base. With the writing of late, trying to pull of Sam and Blair will be as productive as Sam and Nora if they don't consider the opposition (TnB fans). That's not to say it can't be done (it is a soap after all) but Sam needs to be the pursued one not the pursuer. AntiSam fans have a double standard for anything Rappaport. As far as pairing him with Lindsay, that is character suicide! Lindsay needs to be with someone who compliments her edge but keeps her a bit under control (Troy, RJ, Max maybe). Sam needs to be with someone who can bring out the natural romance in Sam and yet needs him to lean and depend on (Nora, Blair, my version of Joanna). So much to say so little time! LOL! I'll have to write you and GT and Frons in hard copy. Be on the lookout! Donna:)

I had to take my uncle to the hospital today. He evidently has had many mini strokes and the MRI showed that. Its a long story but we are very concerned and worried. Okay, before I even read the messages posted since I last posted myself, I have got to say that I am simply blown away; I received a package at the studio from the one and only Nancy J. and tonight I finished reading all the letters and everything else and I don't know what to say, I'm just speechless. I'm so overwhelmed by the depth of support and generosity by all of you that I can't find adequate words to express my gratitude; I'm just so amazed by you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Of course Nancy J., you can have an autograph for the winner of the contest. I really, literally, don't know what to say now, I think I'm stunned; you know I was feeling when I was reading these letters that maybe I should stop, too much praise might be dangerous to me, like maybe it would make my head pop or something. Hello again, Mr. Lau I have a question for you. A few weeks ago someone mentioned to me that there was a Laurence Lau in the credits of a television show called "The Fitz Boys" (At least I think that was it's title) and it was made in the 1980's.
