Hey! just had lunch down in little Italy at a restaurant call Il Bocconchino and on their Italian TV they had the annual Il Palio horse race on. It was really exciting! And the food! Oh, my god! Just thought I'd share. Uhhhmmmmmm, you got me guessing. Oh, and my favorite movie role was playing George Hampton in 'The Penny Promise', a clip of which you will see Thursday in my interview on 'Soap Talk'. Later(s) Alligator(s), Larry.

OMG Larry! That scene today with Nora was powerful. Poor Sam...all choked up over Bens accident. Nora couldn't resist the urge to comfort you. You were great! I still say you two rock. I'm glad you are enjoying some time off. Unfortunately for us that translates into a Sam drought....not a good thing! Happy Independence Day to my favorite violin! Donna:)

Thanks Nancy... yes, we are the only "N's" in chat, and they have been a lot of fun! I wish I could stay longer, I just have to get up at 4:30 AM to make my 6AM call time. The series I'm working on will wrap out in the first week of August (there is light at the end of the tunnel.) However I may move on to an MOW right after that.
Speaking of MOW's... Larry, I've been writing a book and a MOW keeping you in mind as the lead protagonist. I know there is protocol concerning scripts & agents & casting directors (etc.)... however I just wanted you to know that there is something coming out written for you in mind. When I saw you on OLTL for the first time I thought you would be perfect for the role. Every 'new' actor who comes into a show has a period of 'adjustment' while getting the feel for the other actors energy around them. You managed to slip right in there rather effortlessly... and I admired that. Hence why I came here (and they haven't been able to get rid of me. ~wink~) I like to see good talent keep working. Perhaps you might make the jaunt North and set up with ACTRA (Canadian SAG)... since we are only a hop, skip and a jump away (Okay, that might land you in the Yonkers, but you get my drift.) Just like to see more of what you can do. (Would have loved to have seen the Soap Talk but we don't get SoapNet up here. ~sigh~) Beannachtaí.
I just thought I had to add... The second time I saw you on OLTL I did recognize you from AMC years before... It was your voice that gave you away. It took me a little time to figure it out, but I eventually got there. I just wanted to clear that up, just in case my previous post lent to the belief I thought you were 'new' altogether. I had really liked Kale Brown, but I thought you've added so much more to Sam over the past year. Keep up the great work! Sláinte.

Hey Larry! It's going to be a long summer in Llanview if your story isn't until the fall. Loved Sam taking Matthew and Starr for a play date. How nice of you to offer to let Matthew drive. Cute! If TPTB would let ME write the show you would be having a fabulous romance with the beautiful, intelligent, witty Joanna. Lindsay would get out of jail and go after Trolin for what he did to her and the two of them would fall for each other along the way. Together they can wreak havoc with all of Llanview. Meanwhile Nora can lick her wounds and admit to her rebound romance with Trolin only because she lost you and he was the only one around, attracted to him for the same superficial reasons every other woman in Llanview seems to be. I, of course, would have Sam and Nora deny their feelings for one another; work side by side on a great case as well as caring for Matthew; and then voila...sometime down the road have Nora decide she wants Sam back. One can dream. I am a long time soap viewer so my ideas come from years of experience with successful soaps not raging hormones.LOL!! Keep up the great work. We are rooting for you. Donna:)

Hey Larry: Loved the scenes with Starr and Nora! I was thinking it would have been funny if when Starr told Nora that Nora basically wanted Dr. Troy all to herself..."Sam" started to laugh! Sorry I am mean, poor NuNora! And you with Ben...He'll be okay! Honest! And then with Kassie...Great "Sam" week, as "Sam" weeks go lately! Here's a personal favor: Can you please just tell these lovely ladies that peanut butter toast...is "bread toasted with peanut butter". Because I will!(Don't hit me with the darts, girls) I was going to post that "I had peanut butter toast for breakfast in bed this morning, girls" to make these ladies nuts, but I refrained! LOL! I was a good girl! But I can hold back no longer! Will I ever be able to go to the grocery store and either look at or buy peanut butter again without having the "brain" pop back to your guestbook?!?! Tell them another one of your recipes...maybe peanut butter and jelly! NOT! So is NYC hot or what? We were there yesterday and it was a mere 93 w/41% humidity...now in CT that would not have been such a bad day! Honest... a little on the muggy side! I swear it felt like 85% humidity! It's so funny you should mention heat and humidity.... it has been rainy and in the high 70's low 80's here in Miami. While you are frying your rear ends off, I'm actually chilly for the first time in 2 yrs LOL.... Thank you Nancy for letting the cat out of the bag! Heeeeeeelllllllllllooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody!!!!!!!!!! My friends downstairs have been on vacation so it's been difficult to get to their computer, (they have house guests). Anyway, I 'm here now and you guys are so funny! I swear to God if I ate as much B&J and PBT as you make it seem I'd never make it thru the studio door! And Nancy, you may have divulged the PBT recipe secret but the truth is it's all in the way you spread it! And I have to admit my relationship with B&J has not been completely devoid of interface. But whose counting?! I like that story idea Donna. The truth is I still haven't a clue as to what's ahead for Sam; you're just going to have to hold your hats for awhile longer. But I am glad you've been enjoying the show, and I did chuckle at Starr's crack in rehearsal, but thought it best to tone it down for taping. And I liked the scenes with Nora in the hospital also; HBS is always great to work with. And hanx for watching Soap Talk, it was a lot of fun. And, yes, Sam is a bit more contained, you might say, than I am in person; when I'm feeling good you kinda have to chain me down!
Oh! before I forget, I'm doing a personal appearance in Pennsylvania Aug. 10th, I think it's in the town of Reading. More details, hopefully, to come. And I going home to Oregon to visit my brother and family the first week of August; might do the local ABC affiliate talk show in Portland, just in case there's anybody from my home state out there listening. Well, that about covers all the bases. I taped something like 10 scenes with Rae on Wednesday and they were loads of fun. Life is good. Keep your powder dry, and always know I am grateful to you all. If they are bringing a love interest on for Sam, it's news to me. I imagine you'll all know way before me anyway, somehow you always seem to! It's kind of fun that way because I love surprises. I do know my schedule looks light for a little while longer, so they're gearing up for some kind of fall storyline----we'll just have to wait and see!
I went flying in my friend's private plane last couple of days. He bought a Cessna 172, a four seater. It was a lot of fun. He allowed me to take control of the aircraft a couple of times at take-off: you line her up at the end of the run way, push in the throttle all the way, get her racing down the middle of the runway and at 65 mph, you pull gently back on the control and presto! you're up off the ground and flying! It was really a thrill.
Anyway, I hope you all are doing great. Oh, and it looks like I'll probably be doing the Cindy Rinehart show in Seattle Aug. 2nd also. Nothing confirmed yet. Till next time, I wish you all the very best, love, Larry.

Hey Larry sounds like you are having fun. I've never had my hands on a throttle but I've been parachuting and it is the ultimate high. Of course, I don't really want you to go jumping out of planes!:) So, there may not be a new woman for Sam in the future? That is too bad. However, I really like Sam and Blair and would love a Sam/Blair romance too. I'm really enjoying their friendship and some magazine stated that quite a few people would enjoy it. But, I never trust polls. Can't wait to see what GT has in store for Sam. I just want it to be good and front burner.
Larry, glad you had fun flying in your friends Cessna. My hubby had his private pilots license and frankly I felt like I was riding in the passenger seat of a compact car on a very unstable bridge. I took a pinch hitters flying course so I could learn to land should my husband decide to reenter the food chain from up there! Ya never know when someone will check out early and leave you stranded with no where to "pull over." Be careful would ya?!
