Hey Everybody! Yes, I'm out here in sunny southern California and it is a beautiful day; just got out of the pool as a matter of fact, and I'm telling you I could really get used to this in a hurry.
Earlier today I did "SOAP TALK" with Ty and Lisa Rinna and I had a lot of fun. This particular episode will air on July 4th, so watch it, if you can, I think you'll enjoy it.
Yeah, I had a nice talk with Gary T. the other day and he reinforced how important the character of Sam is to the show, that they need him to be who he is; it was all good stuff, and they're working on some interesting storyline ideas for the not to distant future. In any case, I do love the show, and the people I get to work with, what more can you ask?

Larry: Glad you are having fun in LA! Glad you could check in! Very happy about Sam's future! Does GT want any ideas for Sam's storyline? We could come up with some great scenarios! Thanks again for letting us know what's going on with TPTB! I'm glad that they are working on a good storylines for the character of Sam. OLTL has improved dramatically since you have arrived there... I'm not saying that just because your my favorite. Crikeys! I didn't expect you to post so soon after my last one! Larry, Are you sure you don't have a computer? You sure are doing a great job finding ways to get online...we hooked you didn't we? Don't get too used to that pool...we need you back in Llanview. LOL! I agree with Mr. Tomlin, Sam is an important character to the show, but "they need him to be who he is?" Hi Larry and Everyone, I was a lucky lady yesterday to see Larry on Soaptalk. (this is close to where I live and its my second time going) Larry, you are even more handsome in person, those eyes!!! Kat had asked me to report on the day, so I won't spoil anything, just make sure you watch on July 4, and I can tape if anyone wants to see it. I also was picked out of the audience for the other show taped to ask a question, what I had to say doesn't apply to me (my kids are grown and I don't have a husband) but that way you can place the name with a face. My segment will air on June 28, and I will be in Las Vegas, so will try to tape, but I'm not mechanically inclined so we'll see. I'm glad that you are enjoying your time in CA and thanks for checking in with us during your vacation. It was wonderful to see Sam be the hero in the fight with those 2 goons today. As Missy said earlier Sam rocked today. I was yelling at the TV during the fight scenes cheering for Sam LOL. Sam reminded me of Cordell Walker on Walker Texas Ranger today. It is great to see the good guy give the bad guys what they deserve.
I'm in total agreement with Missy and Kathleen about the fight scenes today! Great work! The look on Sam's (your) face when the police arrived and the goons tried to get Sam arrested was so great! I love it when TPTB actually give you a storyline, my withdrawal doesn't have to last as long LOL. Larry: Great to see you "kickin' butt and taking' names"!See...you are "The LAUMAN" not the "OUTLAU"! You were great...I loved the look on your face when Starr was complaining about having to pack and your shoulder was "hurtin'". I loved today's episode. I was glad to see Sam be in the hero. He knocked out the two goons and protected Blair and her kids from them. I was wondering the same thing about if you really hurt yourself or if that was just acting. I liked the look on Sam's face when the police arrived. I thought they were going to arrest Sam. I was also yelling at my TV when Sam was kicking those guys butts. The writers did a great job writing Sam to be the hero. Can't wait to see what the writers have next for Sam after the whole Todd/Blair thing is over with. Oh by the way, before I forget. I finally got to see the Greg/Jenny wedding today. Great Job today Larry! I have really enjoyed watching the show lately. Sam is awesome, too good for Blair! Hopefully, they can find you somebody who is worthy of Sam. I hope you don't leave Hawaii before we get to see you in your bathing suit. Where are the bathing suit scenes you told us about? I have my sunglasses ready, so I hope I didn't miss them. I would have no problem with Sam becoming a lifeguard part-time however, his intelligence is a big part of his overall sex appeal. I am certainly not going to record over today's show. Who knows when we'll get to see Sam in his bathing suit again! In the future, please let us know ahead of time if you are going to be in your bathing suit. I wouldn't mind having 2 tapes of Sam! Keep up the good work Larry and the bathing suit scenes were enjoying it :)

And I also agree, the show has definitely been on a role, and getting more exciting all the time. Hey Lauman, Superkala!!! Even my darkest, cheapest sunglasses couldn't block your illumination in those poolside scenes. I don't think silk swimwear will hold up for your kayak lessons though. We'll have to come up with something a bit more sturdy. H'mmmmmmm, perhaps some old levis would be a better choice for this adventure. No shirt required. lol! Great stuff Larry! Those scenes by the pool were great. You looked fabulous. It is clear that Sam and Blair are developing a wonderful friendship and hopefully it will continue. I loved it when Blair told Sam that he was her hero and her friend (finally Sam received some recognition for the great things that he does). That look on Sam's face when Nora and Troy were talking to him was completely real. Believe me, some of the fans were thinking the same thing that Sam was LOL.

I'm having one of those weeks....LOL... I broke my thumb, the computer crashed and the news pre-empted my soaps about 3 times this week... the good news is they didn't do it during OLTL when Larry was in his swim suit! I will tape the SoapNet Special. I posted that earlier. They rerun those episodes like 3 times a day...so I can tape it 3 times on 3 different tapes. That will make it easier to make copies...So you can count on me for some of them! Hello Everybody! Thanx for all your great comments, I really appreciate them and I'm glad you liked last weeks shows. It was heartwarming to come back to NYC and check in on all your excitement while I was gone. I'm still not sure what the future holds for Sam; I know they're working on something, but they are having to deal with some very recent cast changes and it's kinda put a lot of things up in the air. So, hang in there, I'm sure whatever happens it'll be worth waiting for. I will say I taped some really fun scenes with Blair last Thursday and we are about five weeks ahead of the air show, so...do your math!
I had a great time in California, I've got some great friends out there, and SOAP TALK said "come back anytime!" You know, it's funny, I had fun just getting behind the wheel of a car again and driving with the car radio blaring away!! Yes, in some ways, I'm a simple man, and you know what else? That's just okay with me. Love you all, Larry.

Glad you're back in NY. I could tell that you had a good time in LA. I've been there a few times and it's not too bad there. I'm also glad you had a good time driving and having the radio blasted. Now, listen, in all seriousness, I want to tell you I received a wonderful packet of letters today from a whole lot of you and they really touched me deeply; I was really moved by their thoughtfulness and the care that went into the writing of them. Now I have to tell you this because it's so cute (at least to me)... Last year at SSW, Hillary B Smith said to the audience at the talk show with Linda Dano that you needed a girlfriend.... My 5 yr old has NEVER forgotten that and every time she see's your picture or hears the name "Larry" she says that your "HER" Larry and she is going to take you for a walk at MGM Studios LOL.... Larry, I loved today's episode. I loved the scenes between Sam, Nora, and Matthew. I thought they were good scenes. I wish they would have you do more scenes like that. It still painful for me to not see Sam and Nora together. I'm glad they were getting along today for Matthews sake. I want to see Sam and Nora back together. Larry: I have to agree with Miss Valerie's very astute observation...those scenes were incredible with Sam, Nora and Matthew. They were great and it seemed so natural for the 3 of you to be together playing a game as a family! They have to cash in on this...Someday they will figure it out! There is still hope...IMHO!
